02/12/2024: At most it could be called focaccia with 2 slices of salami and 1 slice of ham. Truly a place to avoid if you don't want to waste your money and the reality that I still have pain in my stomach from the "pizza" dough. Change the chef guys. Really.

10/02/2025: Reservation under the name “Martina”, table for 6 people, 02/08/2025, we were at the table near the bathrooms, on the corner;
I repeat that the only person to leave the table was me, who as I was leaving said goodbye to the gentleman who serves the tables, Masini I think.
09/02/2025: I have been to dinner several times in this restaurant, a typical home-made restaurant, the house specialty is the famous "penne all'Aconese" which is truly excellent.
In addition to this you can find quality pizzas and grilled meat.

And to finish, the calzone with cream of Sublime hazelnut... Excellent choice of beers. Nice and friendly staff. Everything perfect! Well done

We not only found peace, relaxation and delicious food in this little paradise, but also warm hosts and a beautiful, lovingly furnished apartment that leaves nothing to be desired.

14/12/2024: It is the typical country trattoria where you can eat Tuscan dishes, but not only that. Excellent starters with a good choice of first and second courses. The prices are very honest. Definitely worth returning.
17/11/2024: A "good-style" Tuscan restaurant with meat specialties (fantastic cuts) at a good price.
Very kind waitress.
There are 2 negative sides:
- The environment was a little too minimal and cold (at one time they turned off the wood stove as if to make it clear that it was closing time).
- POS not working...

05/10/2024: LOCATION voto 8: bel ristorante, ricavato da un edificio medievale e immerso nelle colline toscane.
MENU voto 6: la cucina è più per gli stranieri e i piatti non soddisfanno le aspettative del posto. Come alternativa vegetariana ci sono state servite delle penne al pomodoro completamente scotte.
SERVIZIO voto 7: più lenti che veloci. Personale gentile.
CONTO voto 5: per i piatti proposti i prezzi sono alti.
20/09/2024: The setting is incredible—a very short drive from Firenze and feels like another world entirely. The service was impeccable and the food was the best we’ve had on our vacation. This is everything I was hoping for and more—a perfect night.

17/11/2024: Near Florence, very close to Fiesole. Immersed in the nature of the Tuscan hills. Spacious, clean and very well maintained rooms. Underfloor heating. Breakfast was of average quality and in a farmhouse I would have expected more variety, but it was all good. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended
08/10/2024: Easy to reach, it’s about 35 minutes away from the highway. The ambient was welcoming, everything was vintage. I loved everything about it!

05/11/2024: The rooms were clean but there really isn’t much more to be said about the place. Fairly easy to get access with doors working with phone entry systems/codes. We were there in October and the town seemed dead - hard to tell why one would want to stay in Pontasieve - in our case it was simply because it marked the the first leg of the Camino San Francesco from Florence to Rome.
04/11/2024: Excellent location near a free car park (in front of the post office) and very close to the station (and in 20 minutes you can be in Florence). The rooms are a bit basic and not soundproofed (you can even hear the neighbors' alarm clocks), lack of sockets next to the bedside tables. The self check-in service is excellent and works online via a specific site (you need to have a connection, but you are notified beforehand and the password for the WiFi is provided in advance, together with a video tutorial to understand how to log in. There is also a vending machine and a nice courtyard. The excellent pastry shop next to the station is very close.

06/08/2024: Very nice space to rent for private parties, also equipped with an outdoor part... all very suggestive and located in an area surrounded by greenery and quiet. Just under 30 minutes by car from the center of Florence, recommended for those who want privacy and the right space.
