01/01/2026: My fiancée and I have been customers at this restaurant for several years. This year, we dined here again on December 31st.
I must say it's always a pleasure to spend an evening here. The food is excellent, the owners are courteous, kind, and very knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is lovely and very intimate.
So, congratulations to La Tana di Ugo!!

10/01/2026: They've changed management, but the pizza is still delicious, just like in the old days. The guys who run it are good and knowledgeable, so at least in my experience, I highly recommend it!
01/01/2026: The food is good, the place is nice and the prices are fair, but unfortunately they deliberately fill the room with too many tables and it becomes difficult even to move around and have privacy while eating.

20/01/2026: We went to this restaurant based on the many positive reviews, but we were very disappointed. The pizzas arrived in less than 10 minutes, the dough was undercooked, and the crust wasn't comparable to that of the pizzas served at other tables. It seems like they were prepared in a hurry, probably to speed up service in anticipation of a possible second round.

27/10/2025: A real discovery! We spent two wonderful evenings. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable, always with a smile, by Maurizio Giuliana, the other lady (who didn't tell us her name but has an 18-year-old son), and the truly expert chef.
Speaking of the food: everything was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. In particular, the Florentine steak is unforgettable. You can see the passion in every detail. Congratulations, we will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
Although you won't easily forget us for the pleasant confusion we shared, we made a promise to return and hope we will.

16/09/2025: This is maybe even the best restaurant i have ever been to. Quality is 10/10, food + desert the best around Florence. Truffle pasta, steak, peach desert and semifreddo have really been amazing and i really can't recommend this place enough. Super nice staff, location, vibe + you can buy really good wine for a great price. We will br bqck for sure 😍😍😍😍

Dopo aver spiegato più volte la nostra comanda, ci è stato portato il doppio delle pietanze a nostra insaputa. Ci siamo ritrovati quindi a dover pagare un conto che non ci aspettavamo. Inoltre ci è stato aggiunto un prezzo per portare a casa il nostro cibo avanzato.
Piatti e posate non pulitissime.
Servizio lento nonostante ci fossero poche persone.
