Like most people, we came to Panzano for Dario. We booked well in advance at Soliccicia, wondering how we would react to a 7 course lunch in August. The village is in altitude, windy, so temperature was not an issue. Food was of great quality and on the thematic if meat, of course. Dario came by and was the star of the pictures. That was expected. What was way better than expected was the experience, the amazing atmosphere created by, on one side, the glass of wine outside the restaurant, creating unity in the crowd, and on the other side, the long tables you share with other guests. The exchange between guests, about anything, discovering each other, with Dario and Chef's table as a common point was unbelievable. I spoke Italian for 2h with my neighbour, and I didn't know I would be able to. All together, a wonderful day in Panzano.
