12/03/2026: We randomly went here as other restaurants were closed and god was that a blessing. The food was incredible, tasted amazing, big portions and beautiful plating. The ambient is also stellar, they have a bar in house which is on the other side of the place so it doesn't bother the dining experience. The staff makes you feel at home and well taken care of. The experience was so good we came back the next night. If you are in the area this restaurant is a must stop. Special thanks to the young staff member that got us the ragu recipe. We will be coming back to this place 100%

31/03/2026: Unfortunately, our experience was negative... We went here for my birthday, and since we're unfamiliar with restaurants (we're from Milan), we relied on the reviews and the aesthetics of the place. Once we were seated, we read the restaurant's self-promotion and thought it was the right place. A more unexpected disappointment has never been possible. We ordered the beef tartare, which to say it was salty is a compliment... Considering that I have a very savory palate, finding it salty is saying something! The pappardelle with tomato sauce were so thick that you couldn't roll them up on a fork; on the other hand, the sauce wasn't bad, but it wasn't fresh, at least it was from the day before. The spaghetti aglio olio peperoncino, on the other hand, tasted of nothing, not even chili pepper... The service was decent and the atmosphere welcoming, but they weren't enough to make up for the shortcomings listed above: after all, you go to a restaurant to eat! The prices are high considering the fact that the food wasn't up to par...

06/01/2026: As a wedding planner, I had the pleasure of working at Dimora Palagena, an incredible venue just a few minutes from Florence. It is a truly dynamic location, perfect for hosting a full three-day wedding experience in different settings: from a welcome event in the vineyard, to the wedding celebration at the main estate, and a relaxed pool party on the final day.
The food is exceptional, with great attention to quality and presentation, and the team is also highly experienced in providing menus suitable for kosher weddings. A special thank you goes to Elia, the manager, who is an extraordinary professional and a wonderful person—his constant support, availability, and attention made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.
I highly recommend Dimora Palagena to couples looking for a versatile, elegant, and unforgettable wedding experience near Florence.
31/12/2025: Incredibly rude front desk staff! They should not be in hospitality. I left my room key in the room and went to my friends room next door with the door open but a strong wind came to blow my door shut and I was locked out. I asked the front desk staff for help the man was angry and frustrated and scolded me for locking myself out and now he has to dig through the drawers to find the right key... It was a huge inconvenience to him... This completely ruined my stay..

14/12/2025: The place is nice, nothing special but pleasant, and I must say the cocktail was good.
Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the way the table was managed. We arrived around 6:00 and were seated at a table with no reservation time indicated, unlike other tables that clearly had their reservation time written on them. The owner didn't tell us anything at the time.
We each had one alcoholic drink and a bottle of water. After about an hour and a half at the table (10-15 minutes after we finished our drinks), we were asked to leave because they needed to seat other customers. I asked if we could stay at least another 20 minutes, but they said no.
I understand the needs of the place, but I think it was unfair not to let them know in advance that the table was timed, especially since there was no indication. I was therefore quite disappointed.

11/04/2026: We went for a couples treatment... unbelievable stuff, 1 girl for 2 people, lasted 10 minutes in total, the service was for 30 minutes at least, changing rooms that would be cramped even for Smurfs, acceptable services, but the sauna in particular was too small, good pool and beautiful view, lunch I would say pleasant, anyway we left with a bitter taste in our mouths. Conclusion: for the place and the beautiful villa in which it is located, I would say that the spa is quite a bit below expectations, I don't know if we will return.
09/04/2026: An oasis of peace and relaxation. The spa inside the Villa is small but fully equipped. The services offered, including massages and treatments, are performed perfectly by a kind and professional staff.
The facility is beautiful and the food is excellent.

12/11/2025: A very tasty pizzeria in Ponte agli Stolli. The dough is very good, the standard pizza is thin, but they also have Neapolitan dough. The fries were also excellent. The menu is varied, with a wide selection, the place is simple, and the staff is efficient. I recommend trying a pizza here.

16/03/2025: Dinner with friends.
Nice place. But as soon as they arrive, problems begin. The waitress, I must say, was very kind and informed us that the kitchen was closed due to the lack of a chef.
There were also 3 starters missing out of 5/6, but let's overlook this too.
The worst were the pizzas, two out of 10 were burnt, the other eight were not cooked, especially the stuffed one which was inedible.
Since we left almost all the pizzas on the plate, we had some desserts. Tiramisu normal, panna cotta poor.
Final €62.10 per couple.
I hope it was an evening for them
16/03/2025: We had dinner on Saturday 16 March, an embarrassing restaurant. A disorganization never seen before. We waited 2 and a half hours to eat an appetizer with only cured meats in a tray and an inedible pizza........ All this cost €31.05 per person. NEVER AGAIN
