29/09/2025: I believe this hotel deserves a five. The views of the city are remarkable. The service is impeccable and the rooms are clean with all the amenities one would expect. Nicholas was without a doubt, the best hotel host I have ever experienced in all my years. He and his staff constantly went out of their way to provide one on one personal service. From putting on dance music at night to greeting us in the morning with fresh food and champagne. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel above the city of Florence.
25/08/2025: A gem in a beautiful city. Close to the heart of Florence with the beauty and calmness of the countryside. Service was excellent, staff were friendly, every need anticipated. The food, the room, the courtyard, the pool, all well designed and convenient. Beautiful location. Highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future. Recommended by a friend.

02/06/2026: Of the three restaurants where we ate in Fiesole, this was our winner, both in terms of taste and price.
We had a super delicious meal; the host and his chef turned it into a real party.
The wine made the party complete.
27/05/2026: Restaurant is exceptionally warm despite the 30+ degrees heat. They did not turn on AC or have any of the windows open. The waiter took great offense to us asking if we could order despite quite a long wait time. The gnocchi was overcooked so it was like eating mashed potatoes... I asked for a second glass of wine that never arrived. The waiter did sigh and huff a bit when we ordered and went is that it? Overall a very disappointing meal when coming to visit Fiesole which is where my family lived and my brother was born.

25/04/2026: I go there often with both family and friends. The pizza is always excellent, a guarantee, and the staff is always polite and helpful!

We were a great group, and everything went off without a hitch: the organization was perfect, and the staff were incredibly kind. The meat was simply exquisite. All this for an iced tea and a small bottle of water I brought myself from the fridge.
Places like this ruin the beauty of historic city centers.

On the menu, a gin and tonic cost €8, justified by the fact that you're in the main square. When we went to pay, they asked us €24 (for two gin and tonics), which wasn't justified. When I asked "what?" they just nodded. Not even in Piazza del Duomo in Florence, I'd say excessive!

08/06/2026: A wonderful location, and I always return with pleasure, but the restaurant has a policy I don't understand: you can't reserve, and there's a self-service section. The few waiters wander around the tables with the dishes, trying to guess who to deliver them to. They give inaccurate explanations, and speak little Italian. In short, the service is a mess. The main and first courses arrived together, and the lasagna was cold and not what I ordered. The quality is good, but the prices are high, especially for such poor service. It's a shame because the location and the quality of the food are good.

30/05/2026: Completely agree with all the other one-star reviews. The owner was rude, and aggressive. Go and enjoy your pensione instead of doing this work.
I’d strongly recommend going to the Irish pub next door instead, people like this don’t deserve customers.

03/06/2025: Desnudo - huesos (por ejemplo, platos de papel) estilo cafetería barato increíble pasta casera! La pasta rivaliza con algunas de las mejores caseras que tuvimos en Roma y Florencia. Las salsas también estaban bien. ¡Si estuviera en Fiesole, sin duda sería un habitual aquí! Y unas vistas estupendas desde lo alto de la colina.
