26/08/2024: This time we tasted the gourmet breakfast offered on Sunday morning. An excellent selection, the sweet part a delight (the leavened products really deserve it), we then continued with cured meats, cheeses and toast. Everything excellent and with attention to the smallest details. The staff took care of our every need with kindness and courtesy. This restaurant is our favorite place, coming back is always a pleasure.

26/08/2024: Splendid internal and external LOCATION with attention to the smallest details. I have been to places of this level a few times, but for the few I have visited, this one surpasses them all and not only for the environment but for the food and the service. OPTIMAL

22/10/2024: Ristorante immerso nel bosco. Ampio locale, menu tipico della zona, con massiccia presenza di funghi, rigorosamente locali, prezzi medi. In due adulti e una bambina abbiamo ordinato una zuppa di funghi, una tagliatella ai porcini, un Antipasto Pucini, con crostini e affettati, una tagliata con funghi porcini e un dolce al mascarpone. Con una bottiglia di acqua, una di buon rosso della casa e un caffè, conto finale di 76€. Tutto buono, in particolare le tagliatelle, e molto gradevole anche l' antipasto. Piuttosto "alternativa" la tagliata, proposta in una versione tipo roast beef, risultata comunque morbida e molto ben condita. Servizio rapido e informale.

27/07/2024: We had dinner in this restaurant because it was mentioned in the guide; to our regret, poor quality food, very salty, expensive dishes compared to what is offered. Pappardelle with hare overcooked and unseasoned, the sauce had the consistency of canned tuna; The rabbit in porchetta was actually boiled; but we took it with a smile together with two Danes who supported us.

22/06/2024: Wer authentische Toskanische sucht ist hier richtig. Es gibt auf der Karte immer nur eine kleine Auswahl an Gerichten. Geschmacklich sind die Speisen wirklich hervorragend. Das Restaurant ist recht einfach eingerichtet, aber so ist es in der Toskana nun mal. Die Inhaberin ist super freundlich und spricht auch Englisch. Geöffnet hat das Restaurant nur vom Freitags bis Sonntags, und nur am Samstag haben Sie auch am Abend geöffnet. Hauptsächlich kommen hier einheimische zum Essen. Das spricht zum einen für die Authentische Küche und zum anderen erklärt das halt auch die Öffnungszeiten. Das Restaurant ist mehrfach im Guide Michelin erwähnt worden als entsprechendes Authentisches Restaurant. Aufgrund der wenigen Tische muss man unbedingt vorher reservieren. Bezahlen kann man auch mit Kreditkarte und auf Anfrage sind auch Hunde erlaubt.

04/11/2024: Un locale accogliente e curato, ottimo cibo e ampia scelta di vini. Siamo stati qui durante un soggiorno nelle foreste casentinesi, tornando per diverse sere dopo splendide e stancanti camminate. Un luogo consigliatissimo per rigenerarsi! Segnaliamo l'estrema gentilezza del proprietario Andrea che, nonostante il pienone, riusciva sempre a trovare un posticino per i suoi ospiti.

11/08/2024: Locale ai piedi della salita che porta al castello di Poppi. Personale simpatico e servizio adeguato. Cibo a mio avviso nella norma, con una menzione per gli hamburger davvero di qualità. Prezzi leggermente sotto la media

10/12/2024: We stayed a weekend in the village, what can I say, beautiful place, view from ten, absolute tranquility, tidy and clean rooms, friendly, helpful and very familiar staff. Then, with the Christmas atmosphere, everything is emphasized even more. We had booked a suite and they upgraded us to another higher category suite. Top breakfast! We will definitely be back.

22/11/2024: Very kind staff, fixed menu at an excellent price, excellent food and wine quality, super value for money. What more could you ask for? I stop every now and then when I pass by on my motorbike for an excellent lunch. I recommend it.
