Paolo's welcome and friendliness are the panacea of ​​every holiday: always available, "very welcoming" and - when you meet him - a modern-day HERO! Rosa's kitchen is an art atelier and eating her pasta with sea urchins was "like eating a painting by Van Gogh": sublime, like the sunset that can be admired from the terrace every evening. 18/11/2024: Unfortunately I find myself giving one star because those who answer the phone seemed less than competent. I'm a vegetarian and when asked if the chefs were flexible to cook something on request they hung up on me. During lunch the only vegetarian option on the menu was pasta alla norma and, since I don't like it, the alternative was plain pasta with grilled vegetables. I understand that it is a restaurant where fish is the protagonist but it is unacceptable not to have vegetarian/vegan options! Furthermore, I would like to add that I paid the same price for the pasta as a fish dish :)

01/11/2024: Cold and inattentive service We waited more than 40 minutes for A dish of busiate alla norm "out of the norm" Which arrived but it was more of a tomato pasta with cold aubergines from the fridge put on top at the last moment. We ate in a small room at the entrance of the restaurant which in my opinion is more suitable for a cafeteria service than a restaurant In Sicily you always expect to eat well and be welcomed, qualities that unfortunately I did not find in this place.

15/11/2024: Yesterday we went to this bar because we were in the area for a hospital operation and we had two menus for €8.00, including a 33cl drink (we had peach tea), a coffee and a plate of pasta. We then added the fruit. The quality was nothing special, but acceptable. We had quite a good time and were invited to return today to try the fish couscous. We then resumed the same menu. When we asked for peach tea, the waitress, who looked at us strangely at our request, came back saying that the tea was there but it wasn't included in the price... I replied that yesterday it was included and today it wasn't.... and we got the water (then the owner told us that the day before he made a mistake in not charging us for the tea... while the waitress invited us to have a coke, a glass of wine or even a beer, those were they were included in the price! In short, like getting lost in a glass of water, no bad pun...). After half an hour of waiting we had to request bruschetta which they brought to everyone except us. Then came the fish couscous... it takes courage to call it that! Lots of couscous with bones and pieces of cod, no taste... Obviously we didn't add fruit this time, and we won't be back when we're in the area next time.

17/08/2024: Un ristorante in collina con una terrazza panoramica accogliente. Abbiamo prenotato la prima serata prima di partire, perchè ristorante segnalato da vari siti. Le nostre aspettative sono state più che esaudite, tanto che abbiamo voluto tornare anche un'altra sera: il menù è talmente sfizioso che avevamo voglia di provare altre pietanze. Propone cucina tradizionale trapanese, non solo eseguita a regola d'arte ma curata nei dettagli e nei prodotti! Impossibile non assaggiare le caponate, ce ne sono diverse .... sono buonissime e rimangono croccanti ... una sinfonia! I primi sono favolosi, della tradizione trapanese.... che favola! purtroppo non siamo riusciti ad assaggiare le arancine: le porzioni generose non hanno lasciato spazio... la carta dei vini è ricca sia di produttori locali, sia di vini italiani ed esteri. Noi siamo rimasti sul territorio, assaggiando due etichette locali che ci hanno soddisfatto. Il Personale è gentile, sorridente, ti mette a tuo agio: ci siamo sentiti davvero accolti. Le Lumie merita una cena (o anche più di una!) Noi siamo arrivati abbastanza tardi, dopo le 21.30, ma se si riesce ad arrivare prima si può godere il meraviglioso tramonto dalla terrazza.

28/07/2024: Cena squisita, prodotti di qualità e km 0 , pesce freschissimo, cosa chiedere di più ?! Consiglio di provare un bel crudo di gambero rosso e il cous cous di pesce ( peculiarità dello chef). Tutto buonissimo dall’antipasto al dolce( consiglio il panettone estivo) . Da non perdere !!
