Everything was excellent, from the food to the service.
It's a shame we only got to eat once.
Don't miss the octopus (amazing), and then the tuna.
But that's not all.
The friendly atmosphere makes you feel at home.
The welcome and service were excellent.

12/12/2025: We thought it was a pasta restaurant, but it's a very basic place, with small tables, tiny cups, and cardboard plates. It looked like a children's birthday party venue. The pasta was very good, though.

15/02/2026: First of all, Ma Trota restaurant is located in the municipality of Noto, not Palazzolo Acreide. With friends on Saturday, February 14th, we ordered only pizza. We waited over two hours. No one apologized for the poor service. We paid €20 each for a regular pizza and a small beer.

20/10/2025: Everything was delicious! The mushroom arancini were sublime, the mortadella and pistachio sandwich was tasty, and the pizza was delicious. The Caltanissetta beer was also good! Friendly staff.

07/02/2026: We spent a great afternoon here. Large area, huge umbrellas, comfortable beds, and the sea.....was fantastic! The water was crystal clear, the beach was fine sand and slowly sloping. Toilet, shower, changing room were perfectly fine, the staff was nice. Thank you again!

21/09/2025: We stopped by our motorcycle and stayed one night at this agriturismo. We were pleasantly surprised by the tranquility, beauty, and silence of the place. This working farm boasts vineyards, olive groves, animals, a small restaurant, and rooms immersed in nature, just 3 km from the stunning Calamosche beach. The friendly and welcoming hosts offered an excellent breakfast, which we enjoyed while watching the workers work in the vineyards. In conclusion, if you want to unwind and enjoy excellent value while visiting the Val di Noto, this is the place for you. I recommend paying more attention to the rooms.

11/01/2026: The Vendicari tuna fishery is a natural oasis not to be missed if you're visiting Sicily's inland coast. It's stunning both in winter and summer, with Mediterranean scrub and the occasional pink flamingo.
07/01/2026: Visited in October for a walk. You can walk for hours along the trails to some beaches designated for swimming. It's important to understand that you're in a nature reserve and as such must be respected and experienced with the right spirit. Enter as a guest and on tiptoe.

Each room has a private terrace, adding a unique touch. At night, everything lights up, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and helpful.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, which is unusual in such areas. This is a definite plus.

24/11/2025: Pizzeria in the center of Noto, satisfying pizza. We ordered two pizzas: a capricciosa and a gluten-free margherita. Both were delicious, and the gluten-free pizza is their own, not the usual frozen base that's often found. Highly recommended! 🌟

21/10/2025: An excellent hotel, beautifully maintained on the outside and with free private parking. It's located right on the seafront and a short distance from Noto, the Vendicari nature reserve. The rooms are spacious and have a lovely balcony with a table overlooking the sea. The exterior of the property is very well maintained, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms aren't brand new, but they have everything you need. The room is spacious and has plenty of counter space. The breakfast is good, and both the owners and Giovanni, the breakfast guy, are very friendly.
12/10/2025: Would go back here in a heartbeat! We visited in late September/early October- weather was beautiful- sand beach was across the street. Great breakfast included, and the staff were so warm and attentive. Free gated parking on the property. A beautiful hotel with delightful Sicilian pottery, displays, and photographs decorating the seating areas and hallways. Lots of interesting spaces inside and outside the hotel. A nice restaurant within walking from the hotel. A memorable time here❤️
