10/12/2024: This place is exacly what I was looking for while travelling across Sicily. Authentic, passionate, family business, with almost 50 years of tradition. These values you can find in perfectly delicious canolli and are as well presented by the stuff that serviced us. You simply must go there, have a nice chat with owner son - ask about the Guinness record - take a seat in a heart of busy Taormina and just dive yourself in the taste and in the moment. I really hope to be back one day! GRAZIE!

27/07/2024: When I'm in the area, this restaurant has been a regular stop for years. Over time I have seen the cuisine improve and the prices have been kept a little below the average for the area. Furthermore, the courtesy of the owners and all the staff is another plus. For example, last night, in addition to the friendly welcome, 15.00 euros were deducted from a bill of 200.00 euros and I was offered a digestive. In the five restaurants in which I had the opportunity to dine in recent days, restaurants of which I have been a customer for years, it was the only one in which I had this privilege. Recommended dishes: mussels au gratin, marinated anchovies, sliced ​​tuna, baked aubergine parmigiana, cheesecake, decomposed cannoli.

Fue todo eso y más tuvimos que plantar entrante parmesano, pizza, y weenie alar con salsa de almejas terminando con gelato de pistacho casero la comida y el servicio de Inez y equipo fueron increíbles! 17/09/2024: Really nice place. We had two spritzes, bruscetta and pasta. The food was very good. The portions could have been a bit bigger, but maybe thats just me.

17/09/2024: Lovely little place discovered by chance... Excellent food, locally produced, amazing olives and oil! Also excellent for an aperitif. Very friendly and nice staff.

21/08/2024: Unfortunately this was the worst meal in Taormina. After spending 200 euros, everyone left hungry. I would not recommend it to tourists.

19/08/2024: Characteristic, well looked after, located in one of the alleys overlooking Corso di Taormina, romantic. Super friendly staff, even in front of foreign customers who feel like VIPs. For us, an excellent welcome and we particularly liked what we ate. Advised.

30/10/2024: You sit a little apart in a very nice atmosphere. The restaurant is run with passion and the food is worth the price! We have rarely eaten so well. Don't be afraid to come here with children, the chef is also ready to prepare pasta with tomato sauce for the little ones 😊 Absolutely recommended in all respects!

11/11/2024: My husband and I spent two nights in Taoromina and both nights we ate at Al Giardino! Everything we ate was incredible! The Marsala chicken with a side of vegetables - outstanding! Impossibly moist chicken. Tagliatelle with red prawn and pistachio - unlike anything we’ve eaten in Italy and so delicious! Spaghetti with anchovies and fried bread - oh my god I will be dreaming of this dish! So comforting and very umami! And of course the eggplant parmigiana! Unbelievably flavourful and so meaty. Definitely try it! The minestrone and meatballs were also fantastic! Great service! Everyone was super attentive and kind. A true gem of a spot and I hope to return one day! Grazie!

12/11/2024: I was here for a wine tasting with 3 glasses of white wine + Stuzzichini for 35€, very good value for money for a tourist town like Taormina. The service here was remarkable: sommeliers who know the winegrowers and their vineyards personally! They both spoke impeccable English and it was clear that they enjoyed their work. They were also willing to offer guests alternatives if necessary (someone was vegetarian, someone else didn't like white wine, etc.). The wines were all organic, each glass was special and completely different in character. Every course was fascinating again. I was also impressed by how the wines went perfectly with the appetizers, a big compliment to the kitchen too. Even though they were “just” appetizers, they were just as sophisticated and creative as the wine selection. Would definitely come again.

25/09/2024: Wife and I have visited La Caravella many times over the years, Dominic and his team have always taken great care of us and treated us like family. During this visit we spent four days enjoying the scenery and leisurely lunches. The beach lounge chairs are nicely spaced and has an umbrella well-anchored to provide shade if desired. His team would pick us up at our Taormina hotel and transport us to the beach where we would be welcomed and shown to our spots for the day. Walk a few steps back to the covered restaurant where the menu is quite large and varied, reasonably priced and food always delicious. The service is always friendly, efficient and attentive. At the end of the day Dominic's transportation delivers us right back to our hotel. Thanks to Dominic and the entire team for another wonderful multi-day visit!

13/09/2024: Great Beach experience. La Caracalla picked us up with their shuttle and brought us to the beach club. Included in our price was the shuttle, 2 chairs and an umbrella. The beach was clean and the sea clear. We had a fabulous lunch at the restaurant and the owner arranged us a boat trip around the area. Highly recommended.

27/11/2024: We had dinner in this restaurant after an unpleasant experience the night before, in a restaurant in Taormina with important and numerous reviews, we were a little worried about not repeating the same experience. Instead we ate very well, really fresh fish starter, crispy and tasty fried fish without traces of oil etc. Impeccable service, very kind staff and always with a smile. Highly recommended!! It has many reviews but don't think of a commercial venue frequented only by tourists for the view, which in any case is part of the spectacular nature of the location 😍

18/08/2024: Ho cenato due volte in 15gg: menù non ricchissimo ma può essere un pregio; peccato che la lavagnetta di quello del giorno sia stata la stessa in entrambe le occasioni. Piatti saporiti, servizio cortese e veloce. Prezzo medio-alto ma a Taormina può succedere di molto peggio. PS un consiglio: il vino al calice va servito sempre dalla bottiglia
