We had the octopus and breaded squid, and the casarecce pasta with anchovies for our first course, and everything was excellent! Fresh, tender fish. A menu with a wide selection, close to the Marina Corta square.
Highly recommended.

12/06/2026: We were on Stromboli for a day trip and wanted to have a nice meal before leaving. We chose La Lampara because of the good reviews. The view of the volcano was breathtaking and the service was super fast, but unfortunately, we were disappointed in several ways. The radio was playing in the background, which doesn't usually bother me, but when techno suddenly comes on and the radio crackles, well, then the romantic atmosphere is definitely ruined. The server seemed to be searching for a smile, and the pizza was the worst we had on our entire trip around Sicily. My ham didn't look good and was just slapped on top. And €7 for a small bowl of mixed salad (undressed) seemed excessive. What a shame...

16/06/2026: Had dinner with friends... the place is truly a garden of delights. We ate and drank well, but were enchanted by the location, which also lends itself to an after-dinner gin and tonic, surrounded by a lush botanical garden... truly top-notch.

04/07/2026: We arrived here on the first evening of our holiday. I highly recommend all the dishes, especially the long pasta with prawns and homemade pistachio pesto. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and nice, and we had a great time.

The food was excellent, fresh and tasty, and the staff was friendly and helpful. A wonderful discovery.

31/05/2026: Excellent food, and very friendly and helpful staff. Breathtaking view of the salt flats at dusk. We had a mixed antipasto, very good but a bit sparse for the price (we shared it). We then had a mixed fried fish dish, a decent size, but it was also a bit pricey. Another main course was the stuffed squid, also very good but a bit pricey. We spent a total of €83, including a glass of wine and water. A positive experience, but a bit pricey.

29/07/2026: The quality of the food and service was excellent. Among the dishes on the menu, I would recommend the prawns and spaghetti with bottarga and ricotta mousse, truly exceptional. The atmosphere was truly unique. Of the restaurants where we dined during our stay in Panarea, I would consider this place the best for its atmosphere and good food. Highly recommended!!!!!

22/06/2026: In Lipari, there's a wide selection of renowned establishments. Forget it. The good restaurants are Officina del Mare and Ciuri Ciuri. Different cuisines. Officina is classy, but without being ostentatious or inaccessible. You have to have a good palate. But apparently, in this town, social media, word of mouth (in the spirit of "we reward those we know"), and absurd Michelin recommendations for subpar places (the terrible E Pulera, the only decent Vicolo) count more. Service is warm, friendly, and generous. A must-visit if you're in the area.

06/07/2026: A missed opportunity: when service dampens enthusiasm.
All the ingredients were there for a memorable evening: friends, good company, and the renowned nassa shrimp, the restaurant's flagship. We had booked in the morning, precisely to enjoy the sea view.
But reality met with rigid and icy service. Despite the fact that there were several free sea-view tables in the dining room, we were confined to an inside "wall-facing" table. Our request to change seats was met with an adamant, "They're booked." "But we have a reservation, too!" It was disheartening to dine facing a wall, while those famous "reserved" tables sat sadly empty before our eyes all evening. A shame: a restaurant that focuses on culinary excellence should understand that hospitality is the first ingredient of every dish.
27/06/2026: Excellent Aeolian dishes. Fish is the star, always fresh and well-cooked.
