29/08/2024: La nostra giornata iniziava con la loro granita! Da provare quella al gelso è ottima quella alla mandorla!! La brioche soffice e abbiamo trovato anche un buon gelato!! Consigliato!!

25/05/2024: Location bella, piatti di buona qualità. Il personale ha sbagliato il numero dei posti al tavolo, ma soprattutto la signora Adriana, nonostante avessimo comunicato allergie ad alcune verdure, le ha fatte mettere nell’antipasto. La cosa più spiacevole è stata la torta, rimediata all’ultimo momento con sopra dei fiori secchi e fatta con panna industriale, nonostante avessimo concordato in largo anticipo come avremmo voluto che fosse. Eppure era stato tutto scritto, sarebbe bastato guardare la prenotazione con gli appunti. Dispiace.

12/09/2024: Ho trascorso la mie vacanze al Delta hotel dove all’interno ho più volte pranzato e cenato al ristorante la Sciara. Merita veramente almeno una visita, qui è tutto molto equilibrato dal cibo, al servizio ed ai prezzi. Più pranzavo o cenavo al di fuori del hotel e più i sapori della Sciara mi attiravano come una calamita. Un grazie e bravi a tutto lo Staff.
22/08/2024: Tonight, we had dinner at the Sciara restaurant in Giardini Naxos, Sicily, located inside the Delta Hotels Giardini Naxos. We had a wonderful experience until we paid the bill using The Fork app, the same app we used to make the reservation. After paying, we informed a waiter that we had completed the payment through the app and showed him the confirmation on our mobile phone.
As we were leaving, the maître d’ called us back, claiming that we hadn’t paid. We showed him the payment confirmation, but he said that he had requested the cancellation of The Fork’s payment service because it was too complicated for him to manage. We explained that the service was still active and that we had indeed paid, showing him the receipt both on the app and on our bank’s website. He was extremely rude, insisting that the payment was not valid. We couldn’t believe what we were hearing. We told him that we had paid and had proof of the transaction, and that it wasn’t our problem if the service was still functioning. He replied that it wasn’t his problem either.
I suggested that perhaps he should cancel the whole application if it wasn’t delivering the results he expected, but he refused and insisted that we pay again with a credit card. He also told us that we shouldn’t have paid with the app without informing him first. We explained that this was the first time we had made a reservation through The Fork, where the app was still valid for payment upon arrival, and that this experience had completely ruined our otherwise pleasant dinner. After a frustrating and unnecessary conversation, he reluctantly agreed, in a very rude manner, to take pictures of the payment confirmations on our phone.
As we were leaving the hotel, I stopped at the front desk, where the two receptionists, who had apparently overheard the entire discussion, apologized for the maître d’s behavior and confirmed that the payment had indeed been received on their system. Situations like this should not occur, and we sincerely hope that appropriate measures are taken regarding this unprofessional maître d’, who treated customers in such an unacceptable way. We travel a lot around the world, and we have never encountered such an unpleasant situation that ruined an otherwise wonderful dinner.

Trattoria Brasarella

29/09/2024: locale ristrutturato esternamente ed internamente, appena arrivati ci hanno fatto sedere e abbiamo aspettato 30 minuti per ordinare, arrivato l’antipasto molto scarso mentre i primi ottimi peccato per la temperatura, davvero freddi. Peccato che non posso recensire la carne perché si erano fatte le 16 e ci hanno detto che si era rotta la piastra… veramente un peccato.
Camerieri simpatici e gentili, struttura interna rustica.
Peccato il fatto che nonostante siamo arrivati prima di alcune persone siamo stati serviti circa 10 minuti dopo di loro.
Che dire, ve lo sconsiglio soprattutto per fare appositamente 50km di strada e altri 15 di stradine e curve.
Mi dispiace ma non ci tornerò più.

They work well behind the scenes.
The problem is behind the counter where they serve the customers. The customer, especially when addressed politely, expects the same, and you often come across as superficial and arrogant.
Don't get too bourgeois, because in my area they say "Gioacchino put the law and Gioacchino was imprisoned." Meaning that the actions then fall back on those who do them. You could be the customer on the other side of the counter, and it's not nice to receive the same treatment.
Think about it.
