13/11/2025: We had a great meal here. As a starter, Carpaccio of black pork and raw ham with mozzarella. Then lemon ravioli - the restaurant's specialty - and tagliatelle with pork ragout. Both were absolutely delicious. As were the staff, who were very nice and helpful

14/07/2025: "Vecchia Aidone" restaurant: a wonderful discovery! Strolling through the city streets, the "Festa Antichi Sapori Aidonesi" (Ancient Flavors Festival) is here. It's a restaurant located within a welcoming old Sicilian farmhouse, renovated in a clever blend of rustic and modern. An elegant space with attention to detail, complete with an adjoining garden. Attentive and dynamic staff. A carefully curated wine list, featuring renowned producers and an excellent selection, indicates a place that places great emphasis on quality and the customer experience. The hostess offers impeccable service, advising and serving guests with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating interest and attentiveness to their needs. The carefully selected labels offer a wide range of wines: white, red, rosé, and sparkling. This allows guests to find the wine that best suits their tastes and pairs with the dishes on the menu. A big shout out to the chefs for their dishes, both traditional and innovative, masterfully balanced in flavor. Highly recommended!

10/11/2025: I went for lunch yesterday, where I found the food to be subpar and the service terrible. The waiters literally threw and piled up the dishes on the table, many without cutlery. We had to repeatedly ask for spoons for some appetizers, and after several requests, the waiter returned saying they had no more spoons, only bringing forks. I also found the wine, ordered three times during the already well-earned lunch, to be awful. Finally, when I went in for coffee, the tour guide said it was included as a liqueur with the meal, but after I ordered a limoncello, I was told I had to pay for it. They handed me €2, obviously without a receipt. Everything was terrible, and I will never return.

03/07/2025: All in all, a three-star experience... I was there for an event. The food was excellent and well presented. The staff was kind and capable. The aperitifs could be improved. The location is the main note, both positive and negative. Once there, you find a truly beautiful and well-kept place. Spending an evening is still pleasant, but getting there is a real problem. The road is not the best and is marked as closed to traffic due to danger... furthermore, the same signs indicating the place are not visible or clear at all. Having solved this problem, it remains a truly beautiful place where you can eat very well and with capable staff.

04/09/2025: I'm sorry to say I didn't enjoy any good artisanal ice cream. I could taste the cream in every flavor. What a shame!

13/10/2025: Good food, especially the appetizers. The fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and sausage wasn't at all what I imagined, lacking flavor and lacking any cream. The service was prompt and friendly.

08/11/2025: Excellent trattoria, the food is truly good (you can also sample good Enna cuisine) and it's reasonably priced. It's located in the upper part of the city, near the beautiful Tower of Frederick II. I'm updating my previous review (November 8, 2025) by adding that at this trattoria, in addition to Enna cuisine, you can also enjoy various Sicilian dishes. Today I tried the "macco di fave" soup, and I found it simply fabulous. I can only confirm my previous review, adding praise to the kind owner, the excellent chef, and the always friendly waiters (Lorenzo in particular). Highly recommended...and A well-deserved five stars!!! Congratulations.

11/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, having parked in the camper area just below, and it was better than at home ♥️. Mimma welcomed us warmly, acting as our guide and pointing out all the beauty, history, and specialties of the town. And while her chef husband prepared two delicious arancini for us, she kept us company among the countless customers who line up to sample her delicacies. In short, a place to remember and return to, a place we recommend if you ever find yourself passing through.

14/08/2025: I ate the much-vaunted cannoli, which were certainly very good, but I wouldn't say the ones at Fiasconaro in Castelbuono are any less. Prices are a bit above average.
