15/12/2025: I attended an eighteenth birthday party, the Gloria room was very beautiful and elegant, the food did not satisfy me, poor quantity and quality, the staff was not up to the standard of the room, I understand that the work is not the best and is very hard, but a minimum of friendliness and courtesy never hurts, some of these things need to be reviewed and it can certainly improve and become one of the top villas to be able to celebrate any type of event

26/11/2025: A beautiful venue with several well-appointed reception rooms. The terrace adjacent to the dining rooms offers a splendid view. The dishes are all high-quality and beautifully presented. The friendly and helpful staff offer expert advice, making the venue unique. Kudos to the owners for their dedication and sacrifice in running such a demanding business.

14/01/2026: I was pleasantly welcomed by the owner's authentic and genuine hospitality. The cuisine is traditional yet refined. The dishes are prepared with top-quality ingredients. There's an excellent selection of Sicilian wines. The atmosphere is designed specifically to make you feel at home. I recommend it to those with discerning palates who appreciate a restaurant with heart and soul. I'll be back with others very soon.

16/11/2025: Disappointing experience. We came in at 1:30 PM with my family, my wife, and my daughter, and left at 4:30 PM. Two set menus and a main course for my daughter, and an interminable wait. It was Sunday lunchtime and there weren't even any crowds. The food was nothing special and the price was steep.

At Hosteria Il Porcino, I ate the best mushrooms ever, prepared with truly rare care and quality: fragrant, flavorful, simply extraordinary. The mushroom appetizer was a true sensory experience, a delight that captivates from the first bite. The pizza? Excellent, well-cooked, with quality ingredients and a great balance of flavors. The fillet steak with green peppercorns deserves a special mention: exceptional, incredibly tender, and with a perfect sauce. All this is accompanied by kind, professional, and attentive staff, capable of making you feel at home right away. The price is absolutely reasonable, more than justified by the quality of the dishes and the level of experience. A restaurant I recommend without reservation: top-notch quality, authentic cuisine, and great passion. I will definitely be back!

23/12/2025: Truly excellent mushroom dishes, but what impressed us most was the service. The young woman who served our table was extremely kind, attentive, and cheerful. Highly recommended, especially for winter evenings.

We especially appreciated the clear explanation of how the New Year's Eve lunch would unfold, given that it was a special day and was organized differently than usual. This made everything more relaxing and enjoyable, without any surprises. The location is splendid, with meticulous attention to detail and equipped with every comfort, ideal for enjoying a meal in complete tranquility. You can sense great attention to both the ambiance and the well-being of the guests. As a customer, I fully understand the commitment and sacrifices of those who choose to work during the holidays, and for this reason, the service we received was even more appreciated. 01/01/2026: Terrible service. We were offered a verbal menu without any information about the prices. Trusting the service (after years of coming), we were literally shocked by the bill: €220 for antipasti (the diminutive is a must given the extremely modest portions), that is, 22 small plates of appetizers (I even doubt the actual number) for €10 each. Madness. Not even at the best seafood restaurants. Moral of the story: a bill of €37 per person for 8 people (including 3 children who only had a plate of penne with sauce each), of which €27 was just for the appetizer. Madness! Just as madness will be returning to this place. Don't get ripped off and ask for a menu with the relevant prices.

13/01/2026: One star is a lot for this pizzeria. We ordered six pizzas, and we paid an absurd price. Among them was a tuna dish with invisible tuna. When we called the lady, she didn't even bring back a properly made pizza. NEVER AGAIN!

05/01/2026: Terrible experience. The pizza wasn't really pizza, it was worse than a frozen one. Coffee served in paper cups. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

28/08/2025: A great experience at this bakery, discovered by chance: the Sicilian pastries are light and well-seasoned, and most importantly, the fried food is perfectly dry, not greasy. The outdoor tables allow you to enjoy the typical cool air of the area, and for those seeking relief from the sweltering city heat, there's nothing better! The staff isn't particularly friendly, but they're efficient. Recommended.

19/08/2025: A typical bakery on Via Roma! We happened upon it by chance and ordered an excellent freshly baked calzone: 1 tuma and anchovies and 2 tuma and pepper. The owner, Salvatore, was incredibly friendly. Highly recommended for both takeout and dine-in.
