08/06/2026: Santa Maria La Strada, Giarre, CT. Via Ruggero I, 40. The dishes we tried were good. The place was very crowded, and service suffered a bit, but that's understandable given the large influx of customers. Overall, we had a nice evening.

07/06/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the meat is superb—delicious, tender, flavorful, and truly top-quality. I've tried almost everything, from the roulades to the veal slices, horsemeat, and sandwiches. The appetizers and homemade desserts are also delicious. The portions are generous, everything is excellent, and the prices are fair. It's always a pleasure to return, especially because of the friendly and helpful staff and owners.

17/05/2026: So happy to make the effort to come here! The best gluten free products so far in Sicily. Tasted the apple buns, croissants and chocolate tarts and bread. (We took some back to our hotel) go early as products sell out fast. All made in house.

09/10/2025: I discovered this pastry shop about eight years ago, thanks to my daughter's work. The place is small, but the food inside is exceptional. I've never had the cassata with that fine ricotta anywhere else, nor the dried fruit baskets. It's a shame that many items can't be shipped, and time flies.

17/05/2026: I underestimated the portion sizes in this Sicilian restaurant. It's located by the sea, and although the weather wasn't great the day I visited, it was still very relaxing. I stumbled upon this place; I was staying at a hotel only 500 meters away. It was incredibly generous. I ordered the 35-pound set meal, and they brought out so many appetizers, plus two more pasta dishes – we couldn't finish it all! Highly recommended! Everything in my photos is included in the set meal, including drinks. I don't drink alcohol, but I ordered a little white wine. Highly recommended!!!

17/02/2026: Last night we were here as soon as we arrived we sat down and ordered a portion of potatoes and croquettes the taste was good and also the cooking then three very simple pizzas but there are some flaws including the mozzarella was not melted well then the price is right for the quality of the food we ate I think we will return even with friends

26/04/2026: A traditional restaurant with very helpful and friendly staff, tasty and plentiful traditional dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, and it's recommended if you're in the area. We haven't tried the pizza, as it's not available at lunchtime.

03/05/2026: I've been to this place many times, mostly as a guest for friends and family events. The food is delicious and full of local products. The pizza is very good. The service is almost always excellent, obviously depending on the evening/day. Sometimes there can be a few inaccuracies or delays, but that's understandable if there are multiple events/clients! The rooms are beautiful and spacious and suitable for many types of events. I've been to the more elegant main room, the outdoor courtyard, and the more rustic room downstairs. I've also been there for less formal events and have always had a great time. A few years ago, there was something a little off, but fortunately they've made up for it. The prices are average, but it also depends on what you choose. I highly recommend!
