22/02/2025: A problem often encountered in Sicily is that getting from point A to point B, even just a few kilometers away, often takes a very long time due to the necessary breaks in between. Dolc'e is an example of this. During a trip between Catania and Cefalù, passing through Agira, I stopped in this laboratory specializing in Agira cassatelle. Well deserved stop!!!! Excellent cassatelle. If you switch to Agila, not stopping is an offense to the culture of Agila.

23/07/2025: This used to be my favorite restaurant among the nearby towns. We would drive here all the way from Grammichele just to enjoy a good lunch or dinner. The calamari and mussels were always delicious. My favorite dish was the seafood pasta. But what happened on July 23, 2025, left me completely disappointed and took away any desire to ever come back. I was with my younger brother. We ordered calamari and potatoes for him, seafood pasta for me, and some drinks. They brought me a pasta dish with not a single shrimp, just one mussel and a bunch of fish. I ordered seafood pasta, not fish pasta. I immediately informed the man working there (I believe he is the owner’s father). He told me they were out of shrimp, that he was sorry, and then he just walked away. Fine, I decided to try it anyway. But the pasta wasn’t the usual thin and tasty linguine that should have been used for this dish — instead, it was thick, homemade, crooked pasta of very low quality. These are things the waiter should mention in advance. After tasting it, I told the “owner’s father” again that I didn’t like it and didn’t want to eat it. He, sitting across from me, simply waved his hands and didn’t even come over. He shouted to the waitress to take the plate away. I said I didn’t want anything else and would just eat some calamari with my brother. At the end of the evening, I asked for the bill. The waiter charged me, and I asked if the pasta was included — he said yes. When I asked why, he replied that I needed to discuss that with the management. As I turned my head to look for someone from the “management,” both men had gone upstairs, literally turning their backs on me. I guess that was their way of saying they didn’t want to talk, and I should just leave. So, yes — I paid 16 euros for a disgusting plate of pasta. But I’ll never leave a single cent here again. Neither will I, nor anyone in my circle. Even if the pasta had just been bad, I wouldn’t have written this review — but what truly upset me was the way I was treated. I honestly hope you didn’t treat me so disrespectfully just because I speak poor Italian or because it was obvious that I wasn’t local. In any case, I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for good service. One day they’ll treat you well, the next day they’ll spit in your plate.

02/04/2025: Centraal gelegen restaurant met zeer vriendelijke bediening en zeer betaalbare gerechten en wijnen. We waren aanvankelijk de enige gasten in het restaurant en vonden het een beetje fris. Direct werd er een heater aangezet. Top gastvriendelijkheid. Pasta norma, het kalfsvlees en de nagerechten waren prima op smaak. Bij het nagerecht kregen we een glaasje dessertwijn van het huis aangeboden. Heerlijke avond gehad.

11/07/2025: Ottimo posto dove mangiare un eccellente scaccione. Location pulita, personale veloce e competente. Bagni super puliti. Presenza di ampio parcheggio.

19/03/2025: Siamo stati domenica a pranzo in questo locale dove abbiamo potuto gustare un menù fisso a base di funghi. Come antipasto ci hanno portato vari tipi di funghi (con scaglie di grana, arrostiti, a cotoletta, con olio e prezzemolo) tutti di nostro gradimento, cous cous con i funghi, una ricottina e il loro famoso scacciuni con pomodoro salato. Il primo comprendeva due tipologie di pasta fatta in casa con condimenti a base di funghi, sapore ottimo e porzioni abbondanti (ci hanno anche chiesto se volevamo fare il bis). Come secondo scaloppine ai funghi e alla fine ci hanno servito degli ottimi cannoli dalla cialda croccante e profumata con una buonissima ricotta di pecora. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Il locale è accogliente, il servizio è veloce e molto cortese. Complimenti a tutti. Lo consiglio assolutamente!

08/08/2025: Cena nella media, rapporto qualità prezzo non eccezionale per piatti abbastanza anonimi. Abbiamo preso un fritto misto una pizza con angus (troppo duro e gommoso) ed un calzone ed abbiamo speso 40€

20/04/2025: Prezzo troppo alto!! Per un pranzo di Pasqua deludente!!! Piatti vuoti, poche portate, frutta servita ancora con la buccia! Dolce inesistente nel piatto!! Esperienza pessima!!

05/07/2025: La pizzeria del Siciliano a Montalbano Elicona,ci ha riservato una piacevolissima sorpresa. Da tempo si racconta della presenza sul territorio di una prelibatezza gastronomica eccezionale: il tartufo nero. Personalmente so per certo che sul finire degli anni settanta venne condotto un esperimento di impianto di tartufo in diversi appezzamenti di noccioleto, dopodiché il silenzio per quasi cinquanta anni. Ed ecco la sorpresa La pizza alla montalbanese, con provola, funghi porcini e...il tartufo nero di montalbano. Bravissimo il pizzaiolo e bravo Vincenzo... Ad maiora.

14/05/2025: Personnel hyper gentil. Nourriture exquise, locale et d'excellent rapport qualité prix . Les champignons, les ravioli et les desserts à la pistache. Miam miam

14/06/2025: Vengo spesso qui, a mangiare la fritturina di pesce, gli antipasti e la loro pasta alla Taverna dei conti. Tutto eccellente, sopratutto la simpatia dei fratelli Giuseppe, Alessandro e Salvatore. Si respira aria di casa e si mangia benissimo. Consiglio!

28/04/2025: Ristorante tradizionale dove si può gustare pesce fresco a prezzi onesti. Ambiente accogliente e informale, personale molto cortese.

05/06/2025: Prijs kwaliteit was zeker oké... Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Carmelo... Eén van de obers... Die ons met veel plezier en een glimlach hielp bij het bestellen van onze gerechten... Pasta's die wij gegeten hebben waren voortreffelijk en meer dan genoeg...

24/05/2025: Mi sono recata con un amica e abbiamo preso 4 aperitivi una porzione di patatine e una pizza divisa in 2. Abbiamo pagato 65€ mi sembra un prezzo troppo eccessivo sia per la qualità degli aperitivi ( scadenti) il resto tutto sommato accettabile. Ottimo il servizio pessimo qualità prezzo. Non andrò mai più. Per quello che paghereste andrete sicuramente a mangiare pesce.

18/04/2025: Avevo prenotato questo pranzo per l’anniversario dei miei genitori fidandomi delle recensioni.. mi è molto dispiaciuto sapere che tra l’ antipasto ed il primo hanno dovuto aspettare 1 ora( assurdo) nonostante quel giorno in tutto il ristorante ci fossero solo due tavoli ( uno da 2 appunto e uno da 4)… arrivati alle 13 , finito di mangiare alle 15,30…. Il cibo nella norma quindi non credo che il rapporto qualità prezzo sia stato consono .. peccato!

24/04/2025: Sono tornato in questo locale per un pranzo con alcuni amici che non lo conoscevano, ed è stato un succcesso come sempre..cibo di qualità, cucina elegante e non "pesante" , Vini locali di grande qualità a prezzo giusto! ...personale di servizio gentile e premuroso..lo consiglio e ci tornerò,la spesa è stata di 13 Euro a persona
