05/05/2025: This was to celebrate my birthday and the place felt cool and well appointed. It was lunchtime on Labour Day, so a national holiday. All was going reasonably well till my wife was advised that the Caponata was not available and she might like the fettucine con vongole. When this came it was apparent that most of the clams remained shut. Our waiter advised us this was fine. We said it wasn’t and shortly a cup of open clams came to our table. An apology came at the end of the meal. This is a reasonably prestigious restaurant and we would not have expected the dish to be allowed out of the kitchen.

03/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante elegante ma nel contempo frizzante e dinamico. Scelto degli antipasti crudité di mare e degli spaghettoni al nero di seppia con colata di ricci di mare: divini!!! E per finire tiramisù e torta alla ricotta con marmellata di arance: entrambi molto buoni (in considerazione anche della difficoltà a reperire oramai dei buoni dessert di fine pasto in molti ristoranti). Gentilissimi anche il titolare, il maître di sala e tutto il personale.

01/10/2024: The venue enjoys a wonderful natural panorama. Good aperitif. We tried the farmer's platter and it was all tasty! I recommend you go just before sunset.

05/05/2025: Siamo stati qui per la comunione. E' stata la prima cerimonia festeggiata in questo locale e devo dire che ne siamo rimasti davvero tutti contenti. Il ragazzo che ci seguito in tutto il banchetto che si è subito presentato (Daniele) molto professionale cordiali e disponibili ad accontentare ogni esigenza spiegandoci che avrebbe personalmente fatto dei schow cooking durante il banchetto per noi . Il cibo è stato davvero delizioso, il servizio rapido e molto professionale e la cerimonia non è durata un'eternità come dalle altre parti . Ci ritorneremo sicuramente in un'altra occasione. Lo consiglio a tutti abbiamo trovato uno personale preparata e professionale davvero eccezionale!

25/10/2024: The pizzas are very good, but when you order delivery service the delivery man makes you wait 5 minutes or more in front of the delivery address. If you're not at the door when he arrives, he leaves and leaves you without food. Maybe he thinks that customers should serve him and not the other way around, as it should be.

04/09/2024: Nice environment, friendly staff, the pizza was perfect, low and soft and it's a good idea to go around. Pizza brings you as much as you want, plus chips and bruschetta. Very acceptable price.

05/05/2025: Don't book fixed menus on the fork because you won't get any discount and you won't even be able to use your accumulated points as they invent many of them and with the exaggerated prices they have you go to eat in an excellent restaurant near the lampara and pay even less

18/06/2025: We stopped to get a snack after a night time walk through Taormina. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce tasted old, perhaps even store bought. The waitress didn't check on us at all and we had to flag her down several times to get any attention. It's a great location and ambiance, but otherwise a pretty bad experience.

01/07/2025: Mi sono trovato benissimo. Il cibo è buonissimo e caldo all'arrivo (e non è una cosa scontata). Il servizio è eccellente in quanto ho trovato personale educatissimo e sempre disponibile. Per quanto riguarda l'ambiente devo dire che preferisco di gran lunga l'esterno: l'interno mi piace ma è proprio all'esterno che c'è quella "magia" grazie alle luci sopra (ottimo per una cena tra fidanzati). In conclusione quindi mi ritengo molto soddisfatto.

30/06/2025: Terrible carbonara, overcooked egg, flaccid guanciale, if you don't know how to make it you might as well remove it from the menu, veal fillet with garlic aromas, with zero aromas, incorrect cooking and smooth meat, the only positive note the meat was quite soft and the water was fresh. Definitely long waiting times.

27/04/2025: Siamo stati di sabato a pranzo senza prenotazione per caso. Materie prime e cibo di qualità, tempi giusti di attesa e buon rapporto qualità prezzo e non da ultimo disponibilità e cortesia!

22/04/2025: Ho chiamato alle 19:00 per prendere la pizza e andar subito a casa.Invece no sono dovuto stare lì 10 min per aspettare che me la facciano al momento .Asporto per me vuol dire che prendo e vado subito via… La pizza discreta , anche se tutta bruciata. La pizza senza glutine è buona, però aveva un buco in centro

31/05/2025: I often go there during my lunch break when I'm in Syracuse for work, easy to reach even if parking is a bit limited in the centre, good products, excellent quality/price ratio

16/06/2025: We have been both for lunch and dinner, even in different seasons. Qualitatively and quantitatively speaking excellent, homely and typical. Fixed menu both meat and fish with abundant appetizers, various first and second courses. Pizza not bad. Rustic atmosphere. In summer very chaotic, lots of people and the service suffers.
