06/10/2025: Very friendly stuff, dog friendly location with pillow and bowl for the dog in the room. The food and wine testing in the Restaurant was amazing. The city of Palau is just 7 min by car distant.

09/12/2025: We were a party of 6 people and after being seated and given the menu the waiter told us that he refuses to serve us, because we are from Israel. Best of luck to the owner with keeping ignorant staff. We had such a great time in beautiful Sardegna, with this one exception, which I decided to share with other visitors.
17/10/2025: I had dinner at Kissu Ristorante Pizzeria in Palau, a cozy family-run restaurant that immediately made me feel welcome. When the owner found out it was my birthday, he personally recommended a fresh fish with potatoes — and it was unbelievably good, perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
The service was warm and attentive throughout the evening. To top it all off, the owner surprised me with a complimentary drink and a special dessert to celebrate my birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the night even more memorable.
I highly recommend Kissu Ristorante Pizzeria for anyone looking for authentic food, great service, and a truly personal touch.

Ogni anno torniamo sempre molto volentieri!!! Proprietari sempre gentilissimi e persone davvero splendide che ti fanno sentire come a casa. Consigliato a chiunque voglia fuggire dai locali più turistici e immergersi nei sapori veri della Sardegna. Complimenti a tutto lo staff!!!!

04/06/2025: Le service n’était pas bon nous avions commandé un entrée une bourra à partager on a reçu une mozzarella et le plat j’ai commandé des tagliatelles au poulet et j’ai reçu un poulet grillé avec de la salade, deplus le poulet n’était pas cuit à l’intérieur

Una zuppetta di cozze con il succo di gamberi non si può mangiare: le cozze sapevano di gambero!
Spaghetti alle vongole e bottarga con eccessiva salsa (?) corretta con farina (?)...non si sentiva il sapore delle vongole.

22/10/2024: Wir haben einen unglaublich ehrlichen und herzlichen Empfang erlebt und sehr leckeres Essen genossen. Keine Wartezeit, die Inhaber Mario und Pietro sind beide gentlemen der alten Schule, die ihr Lokal seit 1976 führen. Zum Kaffee haben wir einen großen Teller traditioneller Kekse bekommen und haben gleich entschlossen für den nächsten Tag zu reservieren. Am 2. Tag sind wir wieder warmherzig begrüßt worden. Pietro fragte, wann unser letzter
Tag sei und als wir sagten, dass wir am nächsten Tag weiter fahren, gab er meiner Tochter zum Abschied einen vollgepackten Korb Kekse mit, den wir den Rest des Urlaubs zum Frühstück genossen haben. La Taverna ist definitiv und mit großem Abstand das beste Restaurant, welches wir auf Sardinien besucht haben. Danke, Pietro und Mario! Ihr seid wahre Gentlemen!
