19/09/2025: A fantastic wine bar with a fantastic selection and passionate advice. 🍷 We were lucky enough to experience an evening with live music – a fantastic atmosphere and a very cozy ambiance. Highly recommended!

31/08/2025: Everything here was truly perfect. The location is ideal for boat trips. The old town and the ferries are also only a 5-minute drive away, and about a 20-25-minute walk away. The hotel has its own free parking lot. A supermarket and a gas station are right next door. The staff are extremely friendly and super helpful. We received great tips for excursions and restaurants. The rooms, like the entire hotel, were very clean and in top condition. The breakfast is varied and delicious – there's fruit, croissants, rolls, muesli, eggs, etc., and of course, cake. When booking, make sure you book a room with a sea view.

28/08/2025: We stayed at this hotel for the first time in 2022 and returned three years later. The hotel's location is excellent, in a very quiet area, a 15-minute walk from the town center. The rooms are spotless and the service is impeccable. A heartfelt thank you ❤️ to all the hotel staff, who make guests feel like family. You are truly wonderful people. We will definitely be back.

17/06/2025: We arrived here on the recommendation of Mrs. Isabella (newsstand at Casa Garibaldi). Excellent fast. We are two grandparents with two grandchildren. Rustic but absolutely welcoming and familiar environment. We ate in the fresh air, simple and tasty dishes. Kevin's service was impeccable. Thanks Kevin! 14/06/2025: We discovered this place in the middle of the road and it became the trusted bar of our trip. The best proschettes and panninis. Delicious and very well priced. Very authentic atmosphere, nothing fancy. Great service. I recommend it 100% !!!! A must stop

21/09/2025: We stayed at the hotel next door and walked over for dinner. The staff was very friendly and when selecting catch of the day Chef Gusieppie came out and described each fish and how it was to be prepared. We also ordered the Mussels in Myrtle which were excellent! We selected the rockfish and was very pleased with it.

19/09/2025: I know that many people find it scandalous to have a dish served on a bathroom tile! But we're open-minded! The tile was a tile anyway! The girl from Turin was super nice, welcoming, and helpful. I don't think they'll have another season. The mussels were dried out; the appetizer was good, but if I'd tried harder, I could have had a better one on the beach. Then I chose the catch of the day, a scorpion fish that the girl from Turin kindly served us! It was good, and I'll tell you tomorrow if it was fresh! Anyway, one adult and two children (the eldest is 10) with a glass of wine, two appetizers, a pasta dish with tomato sauce, a fried mixed seafood dish, and a scorpion fish = €200. Fine if everything is perfect! But given the shortcomings we can find, I can't give more than 3 stars. If it weren't for the girl from Turin who served us, I'd give it 2 ⭐️⭐️

17/09/2025: A truly excellent restaurant. The place is very charming, the typical island seafood dishes are delicious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Furthermore, something not always a given on La Maddalena, there are no unpleasant surprises when it comes to the bill. It's definitely the place with the best value for money on the island. The only downside is that they don't take reservations, and you often have to wait a while. Highly recommended.

13/09/2025: We found plastic in a dish - when we politely asked to have that dish taken off the bill, the staff got angry instead of apologising!! A really disappointing experience. It’s also not that fun eating dinner whilst a queue of people watch as they wait for a table. In the end, it’s not worth the wait.

03/05/2025: I spent an entire morning sitting at a table working on my computer: a couple of coffees, a croissant, I bought a used book,... everything perfect!

01/05/2025: Here they serve coffee in pods and it's a real shame!! For a croissant and a coffee I spent €3.80... maybe a little expensive 🤔 The environment is very nice because it feels like being in a library. There are few parking spaces nearby. You can access the café even if you are in a wheelchair thanks to an entrance ramp

16/09/2025: The food is prepared with art and love. The chef makes no compromises: no frozen ingredients, only fresh fish caught locally, fabulous meet. So the selection is …selective. His favorite desert was divine. Enjoy!

04/09/2025: I went for dinner, but it wasn't anything memorable. We were the last to be shown to our table (nothing serious, but I was watching the other customers already seated). The waiters showed the catch of the day to other tables, but since the restaurant is very small, with about 15 seats, the fresh fish was already sold out. When our turn came, they still offered us a 1.4 kg sea bream (€9/100 g, so €126), probably already sold at other tables, pointing out that it would be excessive for two people. The solution offered was to clean the fish in the kitchen and serve us only the fillets, charging us only for what we consumed. Unlike the other tables, where the fish was presented and cleaned in front of the guests, we were served it ready-made, out of sight. Honestly, it felt like they wanted to charge us for the fresh fish, perhaps by serving us frozen. I would have preferred more transparency. Even giving the owner the benefit of the doubt, I don't feel comfortable recommending this place. In the end, we limited ourselves to two first courses and a mussel appetizer. The quality-price ratio was decidedly disappointing, with prices completely disproportionate to what we ate. REPLY TO THE MANAGER I'm replying here because I don't have the opportunity to respond elsewhere. As already mentioned, the wait wasn't a criticism: we had a 9:30 PM reservation, and in fact, I think I even arrived slightly early. I only mentioned it to emphasize that, while waiting, I also had the opportunity to observe the other tables. That said, I consider this constructive criticism. Good luck.

30/08/2025: We discovered Blue Bay during our family vacation in Sardinia with our 3-year-old son. The waitress's welcome was a little cold, and she didn't really make an effort to understand each other, which was a bit of a shame. Fortunately, the chef—who also seems to be the owner—speaks French very well. He presented the menu to us with great friendliness and patience. The dishes were refined, flavorful, and prepared with great care. The desserts were equally delicious. The setting is magnificent, with a splendid view that makes the experience even more enjoyable. Despite the somewhat subpar dining room service, we unhesitatingly recommend Blue Bay for the quality of its cuisine and the chef's warm welcome.

06/05/2025: Went to this place for lunch, snacks and dinner. The ambience was 👌 Amazing food and service. The staff were very friendly and explained all about the menu. They were all smiling and very hospitable. The food was freshly made and to a very high standard. Brushetta for lunch was great. Lamb, fresh caught seabass and french fries were too good (dinner)

05/05/2025: Location davvero spettacolare, con vista mare impareggiabile che da sola giustifica la sosta. Il cibo è discreto, più da aperitivo che da pranzo vero e proprio, con preparazioni semplici e senza particolari guizzi. Vale la pena per l’atmosfera, più che per la cucina.
