Blue Bay In La maddalena

While exploring the stunning beaches of La Maddalena, we made a spontaneous stop at Blue Bay for a quick lunch after a morning spent at Nido D’Aquila—and what a surprise! This place is an absolute treasure. The view is cinematic, the wine is gorgeous, and the food… unforgettable. I had the scallop panciotti with creamy bisque and pine nuts, and it was pure heaven on a plate. The husband had the Cozze alla Marinara that he enjoyed very much. Highly recommended!

Just a drink, but lady lovely, nibbles amazing, view spectacular, just very disappointed not to be eating as had to catch ferry!

We discovered Blue Bay during our family vacation in Sardinia, with our 3-year-old son. The waitress's welcome was a bit cold, and she didn't really make an effort to communicate, which was a little disappointing. Fortunately, the chef—who also seems to be the owner—speaks excellent French. He presented the menu to us with great warmth and patience. The dishes were refined, flavorful, and prepared with great care. The desserts were equally delicious. The setting is magnificent, with a splendid view that makes the experience even more enjoyable. Despite the somewhat subdued service, we wholeheartedly recommend Blue Bay for the quality of its cuisine and the chef's warm welcome.

A beautiful eagle's nest location near the sea and beach. You can basically eat and dive right in. The food is excellent, even the Vermentino by the glass. Excellent value for money. I'll be back.

An enchanting place, nestled between the lush vegetation and the lapping of the waves, you'll feel like you're cradled in nature, which provides the perfect backdrop for the excellent cuisine and the courtesy and professionalism of the staff, who strive to satisfy every request, even the most bizarre. This is my second year returning to La Maddalena, and after trying several restaurants, this is the only one I'd return to repeatedly. The price is proportionate to what you're craving. In any case, I'd highly recommend it.

This is my first time stopping for lunch here, despite having owned a house on the island for many years. It's simply a wonderful discovery. Among the appetizers, excellent cuttlefish spaghetti. Fregola pasta is made to perfection. I think it will become a regular.

A beautiful location overlooking one of the marine paradises we have in our beautiful Italy. Besides feasting your eyes with beauty, it also pampers your taste buds with excellent food, which is not a given given the location. Well-cooked food, friendly and efficient staff, and reasonable prices. A tip: treat yourself to a romantic dinner in this splendid location.

Enchanting place, fresh and spectacular food. I've never dined so wonderfully in 50 years of life. Clean and friendly, the chef is incredibly charming. If there were 1,000 stars, I would have given them all.
