17/05/2026: The food was mediocre but overpriced, and the service was terrible. We had to wait a long time before the server even asked what we wanted to eat. Then there was another long wait. The salad consisted only of lettuce with no dressing. The restrooms were disgusting. Even washing your hands after eating was unacceptable.

17/05/2026: Food lacks flavour, the fish had bad parts and the shrimps tasted only like sea water. They weren’t properly seasoned as well as the fish and squid. The fish was the best out of the entire order. Shrimps I’d say was a no no. It was basically only looks but taste wise left a lot to be desired.

06/06/2026: Excellent food and service. I enjoyed the simply delicious spaghetti with a tomato sauce and added a bit of garlic. It was excellent. So it's very easy to enjoy a vegan meal here. They also have marinara pizzas. My wife really enjoyed her carbonara too. And it's well priced with lovely sea views.

The quality of the food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and dishes prepared with attention to every detail. Special thanks go to the impeccable, discreet, and highly professional service, which made an already special day absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommended for both special occasions and a simple meal!

12/04/2026: Il Baretto is located in the main square of Santa Teresa Gallura and is a truly pleasant place to stop for a drink or a snack. Outdoor tables and sofas are perfect for enjoying the atmosphere of the square. The cocktail menu is extensive and top-notch: impeccably prepared, among the best I've ever tasted. The food is also excellent, with gourmet sandwiches made with quality ingredients. Service is quick and efficient, with minimal wait times. The staff is always friendly, professional, and attentive to their customers—one of the restaurant's true strengths. Special thanks to the owner, Aldo, who is always helpful and welcoming. Prices are in line with Sardinian fare, but absolutely justified by the quality offered. A place definitely worth a visit, highly recommended!

01/05/2026: Very average for Italy. We ordered paninis (aka burgers) and they were prepared as if we were making them at home on the grill. In short, it was not worth the price.

23/04/2026: Traditional cuisine, prepared as it should be, truly delicious. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, making it easy to move around. I'd like to highlight the bathroom: large, comfortable, and designed for ease of use. A restaurant that deserves recognition for its quality and attention to detail.

18/04/2026: Tourist trap! Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at the restaurant. We got served rotten food and suffered from a severe food poisoning afterwards. Once we complained that it tasted off the owner just yelled at us infront of the other guests. It is very unfortunate because the ambience ans position is nice but due to the rude owner and lack of good quality food, I would suggest to give it a big pass!

07/06/2026: A great experience, but one I wouldn't repeat at this hotel. We get by, but for the price we paid during the low season, it seems disproportionate. We were given a Basic room, but it was probably in a converted basement. The small balcony overlooked the back of the hotel, where the cleaning ladies hung out towels. In the evenings, it was hard to sleep because of the crowds practically outside the door, spending the evening together (and rightly so), and in the morning, the cleaning ladies were starting their shifts. The beach service is okay, convenient, and just a few minutes' walk away. The restaurant service is pretty awful for those who know real cuisine. We spoke to a receptionist for some information, who was truly unprofessional and unhelpful with requests. The gentleman in the breakfast room is one of the few positives besides the hotel's location. I don't know if I'd recommend this place to friends.

07/06/2026: I booked months in advance, and they put me in a room next to the cleaning service area. In the morning, I would wake up to the noise of the cleaning staff, and in the evening, having the outdoor sofas pushed against the wall, I could hear the noise until late. I went to the restaurant once, and the swordfish inside was raw. The lifeguards were very friendly, but the lady at reception with glasses didn't do anything to help, and offered no hospitality. The breakfast was good, and the gentleman in the breakfast room was very friendly. It's in a good location, close to the most beautiful beaches. 23/09/2025: I stayed at the Tarthesh Hotel during a business trip and couldn't have been more pleased. The rooms are tastefully furnished and very comfortable, the restaurant is excellent, and the hotel itself is an oasis of peace thanks to the wonderful park surrounding it. Special mention goes to the staff: they are all extremely kind, always smiling, and ready to accommodate any need.

25/03/2026: Please welcome customers with a smile, courtesy, and kindness, because it's your job and it's the only thing you have to do besides making coffee! If you can't work with the public, change your job, because I already have my problems; all I need is to go get a cappuccino and put up with your frowning, annoyed, and grumpy faces! I even have to hear you mutter the phrase "I can't take it anymore." Inconceivable.

06/04/2026: Very questionable value for money. I don't know what the average prices are (in the city), but even if they were medium-high, for the quantity and quality of these dishes, they're not worth it. The first courses were OK, the second courses were very small portions and very overpriced (fried calamari, maybe 5 pieces, not even 1 whole calamari, €40). Furthermore, the latter were tasteless and the quality of the fish wasn't top-notch. The vegetables were the same. The service was decent, the plus point being that it was fast. Smiles and kindness were lacking. We won't be returning.

29/05/2026: The pizza chef was excellent, and the welcome was lovely. The pizza was good, and that's what a true Neapolitan says.
