10/08/2026: The interior has a lovely atmosphere and friendly service. The menu features traditional meat and fish dishes. The dishes are excellent and plentiful.
09/08/2026: The restaurant location is very nice, typical Salento... the service is very slow, even ordering took a while, the food wasn't excellent, the second course arrived first and then the first... in my opinion it needs to be improved a bit because the prices are high and the food and service aren't up to par.

€45 for a front row seat in August is the average price for an umbrella and two loungers.
The umbrellas are a bit too close together.

07/08/2026: We were hoping to find a place "not for tourists" since it was recommended to us by a local, but it is indeed a place for tourists: very few traditional dishes, and some are very questionably prepared (considering the experience with competitors), very little attention to detail, zero connection to the local area (except for 2 or 3 dishes), virtually no wine selection (three bottles, all from the same winery), and little knowledge of how to cook meat.
Not recommended if you're looking for a true Salento cuisine experience!

15/08/2026: Disgusting, shameful portions, 18 euros for a portion that wasn't even an appetizer. I had to order another pizza to eat. Disgraceful. I will never come here again. Truly a disgraceful restaurant. 150 euros, the worst I've ever spent. I don't recommend anyone to come here.

06/09/2025: Great experience! The restaurant is very nice, and the cuisine is traditional and high-quality. I highly recommend the orecchiette with turnip greens, the eggplant parmigiana, and the mixed grill. The Primitivo Salento IGP from the San Marzano winery was a great pairing, recommended by the restaurant!

24/01/2026: We've been frequenting this pizzeria for many years now, and it's certainly one of the most delicious in the lower Salento area. The taste of pizza is subjective, but to judge, you have to taste it. The dough is excellent, the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the fact that they're prepared in full view is certainly a guarantee. And to top it all off, the owner and his staff are incredibly friendly and offer excellent service.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

10/07/2024: Personale altamente qualificato, eccezione di lavoro, prodotti freschissimi, pizza sublime, proprietario educato, cuoca meravigliosa, e la location davvero suggestiva, camerieri bravissimi, servizio eccellente, aiuto cuoco simpaticissimo, ma sopratutto in particolare un cameriere velocissimo ci vorrei ritornare al più presto
