Unico consiglio se posso, nell’antipasto salumi e formaggi punterei di più su alimenti locali piuttosto che su alimenti come bresaola o gorgonzola…
Consiglio di ordinare il polpo fritto su purea di fave…..meraviglioso!!! E ugualmente le orecchiette alle cime di rape

05/07/2024: Pranzo molto soddisfacente: piatti locali con prodotti freschi di qualità e dal sapore autentico. Servizio impeccabile. Il proprietario è molto cordiale e simpatico, ci ha suggerito indicazioni preziose sulle spiagge del salento, facendoci anche degustare un dolce della casa in omaggio. Fin troppo ottimo il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Per chi passa da queste parti merita assolutamente una sosta. Spero di poter tornare.

15/08/2024: In this area of Salento I had difficulty finding a dairy... But they cheered me up a lot. Delicious cow mozzarella, but above all a mouth-watering burrata. Lots of products inside, super prices, the trip was worth it. The sales assistants were excellent and very friendly, of course we will be back.

09/06/2024: A special evening... This is the right restaurant for both a pizza or a slightly more discreet dinner... Excellent dishes and excellent well-made pizza both for the eyes and the palate... The desserts are a delicacy... Catalan cream with scenic effect WOW.... Of course the prices are a little above the ropes but not exaggerated... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND... Also suitable for the lower floor for events of all kinds... Fast and attentively kind service.. Free parking in front of the restaurant and not for a fee.... Keep following me for more advice... PROMOTED with flying colours...

The staff was super friendly and the food was very well cooked and tasty.
The entrance to this restaurant is beautiful, 2 comfortable chairs, a beautiful piano, and a beautiful table where you can eat comfortably. Dear Jaqueline for serving us in a very professional and fast way. 🫶

07/08/2024: I gave this place more chances since my brother found himself working for a couple of months in Casarano and his house was literally 200m away, but despite the countless positive reviews it's a no for me.
Let's start from the assumption that when I read risto-bar I expected to find a varied menu but instead it is simply a pizzeria.
The thing that left me even more amazed was an anecdote told by my brother where one afternoon he wanted to have a coffee outside the house, but they refused, almost annoyed, to serve him because "coffee is reserved for customers". This logic could hold when you were a "pizzeria" but evidently the sign needs to be reviewed or at least understood what they mean by risto-bar.
Decent pizza for the proposed price.
The last time I went I got a takeaway pizza (only because I didn't have a car) for me and my nephew. 2 portions of chips, a red pizza with frankfurters, a margherita with onion and salami €25.
Chips very plentiful but clearly fried at least 2 times and a lot of salt. I wasn't given any sauces (you have to ask for them).
In my opinion the price is not justified either by the place which does not seem particularly touristy to me, nor by the quality.
I may be biased because, living in northern Sicily, I am used to spending much less (24 hour leavening pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven) eating at the Marina right in front of the Aeolian Islands.
For me it's a no.
06/08/2024: Ho dato più possibilità a questo locale visto che mio fratello si è ritrovato a lavorare un paio di mesi a Casarano e casa sua si trovava letteralmente a 200mt, ma nonostante le innumerevoli recensioni positive per me è un no.
Partiamo dal presupposto che quando ho letto risto-bar mi aspettavo di trovare un menù vario invece è semplicemente un pizzeria.
La cosa che mi ha lasciato ancora più sbalordita è stato un aneddoto raccontato da mio fratello dove un pomeriggio voleva prendersi un caffè fuori casa, ma si sono rifiutati, quasi infatuati, di servirlo perché “il caffè è riservato ai clienti”. Questa logica poteva tenere nel momento in cui foste stati “pizzeria” ma evidentemente il cartello è da rivedere o quanto meno capire cosa intendono per risto-bar.
Pizza discreta per il prezzo proposto.
L’ultima volta che sono andata ho preso d’asporto (solo perché non avevo la macchina) una pizza per me e mio nipote. 2 porzioni di patatine, una pizza rossa con i würstel, una margherita con cipolla e salame 25€.
Patatine molto abbondati ma palesemente fritte almeno 2 volte e molto sale. Non mi sono state date le salse (le dovete chiedere).
Il prezzo secondo me non è giustificato nè dal posto che non mi sembra particolarmente turistico, né dalla qualità.
Sarò di parte che abitando nella Sicilia settentrionale sono abituata a spendere molto meno (pizza a lievitazione 24h cotta in forno a legna) mangiando alla Marina proprio di fronte le isole Eolie.
Per me è un no.

30/04/2024: It is a historic pastry shop, very valid and cutting-edge. I am very happy with its products, but at Christmas, I had ordered the pistachio panettone, when the time came to go and collect it, there was no order. They left me without dessert, in fact they wanted to give me the remaining panettone which wasn't to my taste. They didn't have the delicacy to even offer a dessert, seeing as I was left without. Unfortunately, from that day on, that pastry shop closed with me. These are unforgivable mistakes.

22/07/2024: We order (among other things) a salad (4 leaves 6 euros), they bring us an oil (passed as olive) which we can barely distinguish from vinegar, white in colour, embarrassing for us Apulians. We ask for it to be changed, the waitress takes it back and doesn't bring another one. 😳Fortunate staff, who have no experience in how to treat the customer. Octopus meatballs (good though) 14 or 16 euros, bring FIVE pieces, embarrassing in number! Extremely high prices...you paid 80 euros and we were starving! Never again!
14/07/2024: Nice place with a very nice little outdoor garden. Fresh fish, very good and quality. Friendly and professional staff. Average prices. The negative element was the "bite" of bread... three of us were brought a sandwich divided into four parts:( . It's a shame that the location is peripheral to the town and the holiday resorts which make it difficult to get to know and visit.

28/06/2024: Unfortunately I share an unpleasant situation: receiving three daisies with lactose-free mozzarella at home, approximately 18 in diameter without an olive for the price of 25 euros... is an absurdity never seen before!
I call to ask for explanations obviously a little irritated and guess what? A crescendo of controversy arises!
Among other things, I say "nonsense", a lady tells me. However, now I'll take a photo of a pizza delivered 300 meters away "conveniently" at home (they tell me) at the price of €8.33 euros! Judge for yourself...maybe I'm a fanatic but...I don't know. It's a shame because the pizza is good but without a bit of tact and like being half-assed traders in my opinion.
Because anyone would have been angry in my place. In fact, as a local guide I disagree with the way of dealing with those who have objections without taking anything away from the goodness of this pizzeria. And in this regard, in fact, those who wrote good reviews received thanks, those who complained were treated like me... congratulations for your professionalism

Right...since we can't answer further, I'll make a fourth change...you haven't contradicted yourself and I respect those who work but you don't. Those who make you eat have the courage to be objective.
You can delete everything, have a good life, it's the answer on your own anyway... and I certainly shouldn't be allowed to say "you take it on yourself" you're really disrespectful, none other than me! And I work like her but I respond to my clients' controversies with professionalism.
