We do not regret our choice for one of our stops in Italy. Bravo, Mr., for your professionalism but also for your simplicity; we felt like we were eating at a local's house.

07/10/2025: Whenever possible, we include a restaurant far removed from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism on every trip. It's a small bet on the location and the honest work of those who earn their living day after day, without the constant influx of tourists from all over. This is what brought us here. A remote location, with an uninviting exterior and a simple, quiet, and tranquil interior. We found the dishes delicious and authentic in their simplicity. For me, this is what exploring different lands should be about. What's the point of repeating what you see in influencer videos, thinking you've achieved the best? More truth, less stereotypes. Eat here, it's worth it; you won't regret it.

16/10/2025: Lunch at La Pergola today. The welcome was wonderful. We ate delicious food, from starters and main courses to side dishes and desserts. The owner even treated us to a traditional local first course. Excellent value. Highly recommended!

26/08/2025: As soon as you walk in, you're enveloped in the wonderful aroma of cookies. I bought their homemade cookies, and each one is better than the last! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful.

04/11/2025: I met Ugo this morning by chance, because I wanted to surprise my girlfriend, and I have to say, he was truly exceptional! He made me a fantastic chocolate parfait cake, fulfilling my requests and adding his expertise and artistry. It's beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. Ugo is a professional, kind, and passionate pastry chef: you can tell he loves his job and does it with great care. His workshop is spacious, clean, and well-stocked, and the display case is filled with many tempting, original cakes, pies, and sweet treats, including some very interesting reinterpretations of classics. Highly recommended if you want to be satisfied and make a great impression, both in terms of the aesthetics and the flavor of his desserts!

19/10/2025: Finding delicious, well-made gluten-free and lactose-free desserts isn't always easy, but at Pasticceria Ugo we found a real surprise: a wide selection of delicious products, meticulously crafted and available in a variety of flavors and textures. A great added bonus is Ugo, the owner: a professional, passionate, and very communicative pastry chef, who enthusiastically explained to us his specialty in making desserts for people with food intolerances. It's clear how much he loves his job and believes in it. I highly recommend this pastry shop to anyone looking for quality, inclusive products made with passion. Definitely worth a try!

07/09/2025: Beautiful English-themed place, with English football shirts and scarves on display. The pizzas are uniquely named after teams. Fast service and friendly, helpful staff. We had a great time.

03/11/2025: I'm Simone, and I came here on Saturday with my family. The chips were handmade and delicious, and they brought our food right away. They also offered us cotton candy. The pizza was delicious, and I really liked the place; I definitely recommend it.

04/05/2025: It's not just any place... even if it only stops us for lunch. It's a real EXPIRIENCE. Today I tasted (house entrée) the best freshly baked brioche bread in the world with French butter flavored with herbs. A homemade potato crochettone, served with mortadella and cream cheese (excellent!) and a really delicious yellow pumpkin flan as an appetizer, and the agnolotti freshly made by Agnese (the owner and chef of Villa De Donatis) with hand-rolled pastry and filled with parmesan cream (exceptional!!). All seasoned with excellent Salento wine, a breathtaking view and a familiar environment full of real life. Agnese SUPER!! Absolutely highly recommended ❤️

15/09/2025: I finally discovered a pizzeria very close to my house, and they make delicious pizzas! The waiters are very kind, very professional, ready to explain and answer any questions I have! I'll definitely be back, and they make unique French fries! Delicious! They have very interesting menus, a truly beautiful menu, perfectly suited to the location. For a moment, I thought I was holding a book by some of their children; I thought it was very artistic! The pizzeria, San Lorenzo, has a reason to be called that! There's a church next door, which belongs to the pizzeria. I'm posting some photos of the little church, with its masterpiece colors and unique details. Best wishes to everyone for the job ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️! Inside the church, there's the Holy Family, truly beautiful and original! And Saints Cosmas and Damian... on the Holy Family, there's a sort of ♥️ on their heads instead of halos... I didn't take many photos, but it will be reason to return to the pizzeria, which has so many details worth photographing! I invite you to surprise yourself and spend an evening of high class, kindness, and so much culture!
