I had the pleasure of dining at Villa De Donatis, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. Everything was meticulously planned, from the elegant atmosphere to the impeccable service. The meal was simply spectacular: every dish was delicious, prepared with great care and quality. You could clearly taste the passion and care behind every course, and let's not even mention the cake, which was truly sublime: not only beautiful to look at, but also incredibly delicious! It's not just any place...even if we're only stopping for lunch. It's a true EXPERIENCE. Today I tasted (as an entrée) the world's best freshly baked brioche bread with herb-infused French butter. A homemade potato croquette, served with mortadella and cream cheese (excellent!), a truly delicious yellow squash flan as an appetizer, and freshly made agnolotti made by Agnese (the owner and chef of Villa De Donatis) with hand-rolled pastry and filled with parmesan cream (exceptional!!). All topped off with excellent Salento wine, a breathtaking view, and a family-friendly atmosphere brimming with life. Agnese SUPER!! Absolutely highly recommended ❤️
