27/06/2026: If I could give zero stars, I would! We ordered a rib-eye steak, which was very smelly and therefore inedible. We replaced it with a boneless one, which was inedible because it was very sinewy. Friendly staff and quick service.

26/07/2026: Passing through Santeramo I found this restaurant open and I must say that we ate very well with the fixed menu, many courses of starters, first and second courses, all good in quality but what I liked was the very orderly and kind service of the girl and the owner... I will return and recommend it
20/06/2026: The place is nice, but the service was terrible and slow. The place wasn't crowded, but the staff was clearly understaffed. We waited about 40 minutes just to order; you can imagine how long we had to wait for the pizzas: about 2 hours in total.
I strongly recommend asking for the actual wait time before booking or ordering pizzas.
Furthermore, the owner was particularly rude: after coming to take our order more than 40 minutes late, she seemed annoyed and annoyed that we had repeatedly asked her. Considering the wait and the inconvenience caused to customers, we would have appreciated greater courtesy and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience left a decidedly negative impression.

11/06/2026: A simple place with friendly and helpful staff. The prices are super fair and the ingredients are excellent.
They also have a few good beers on tap.
I recommend asking for the Bari-style dough if you like thin, crispy pizza.
19/04/2026: The trend for "canotto" pizzas with their puffed crust—you know it's only a 10-year-old fad, and you also know that the true Neapolitan pizza isn't that, but rather the "cartwheel" pizza, gigantic and crustless. You might think you can make Neapolitan pizza dough with life preservers. That's not the case.

08/03/2026: In 2026, it's unthinkable to be served on plastic plates and paper tablecloths.
If I go to a restaurant, I want to pay the cover charge fairly.
To be honest, I don't remember whether we were charged for it or not.
The quality of the food wasn't good enough for me. For such a renowned establishment (they say), I would have expected much more.

The dishes are prepared with great passion and professionalism. The quality of the ingredients is excellent and can be tasted in every bite. Each course is presented with refinement, and the taste is simply a unique experience. The flavors are balanced, authentic, and showcase the freshness of the ingredients.
A special shout-out goes to the seafood, which is incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared.
Compliments to the entire staff for their friendliness, professionalism, and dedication to their work. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, and we will gladly return!

07/03/2026: A very quiet hotel with excellent service.
The rooms are very clean and well-maintained.
Many typical Puglian sights are located nearby, such as the Sassi di Matera and the world-famous Alberobello.
The food here is also excellent. I was given a tour of the kitchen, and it was exceptionally clean, which is quite rare in the restaurant industry.
The staff is courteous and very friendly.
So, if you value a peaceful stay with good food, this is the perfect place.
I would gladly stay at Hotel Murgia again.

18/05/2026: Fantastic, helpful staff. We found it right in the center, and Michele, the owner, immediately accommodated our requests, even letting us use his services. The place is beautiful, with its Caribbean-inspired and welcoming rooms and excellent food. We visited the place, but out of courtesy, we didn't ask to sit down, given our attire and condition, but instead asked for takeout.
We thank the staff for their understanding and courtesy, walkers of the Camino Matera.

10/07/2025: Non posso negare una qualità solo discreta dei prodotti, ma il modo in cui sono stati serviti è stato deludente: porzioni scarse, presentazione trascurata, il tutto a fronte di un conto decisamente troppo alto per quanto offerto.
Ciò che mi ha lasciato davvero perplesso, però, è stato l’atteggiamento del personale, in particolare di Claudio al bancone: poco cordiale, scortese e, in alcune occasioni, persino offensivo, usando un tono sgradevole e un linguaggio dialettale inappropriato, come se avesse davanti qualcuno da prendere in giro.
Il locale avrebbe sicuramente bisogno di un rinnovamento, non solo negli ambienti, ma soprattutto nell’approccio verso la clientela: formazione su accoglienza e cura del servizio sarebbero auspicabili.
La cucina, infine, è appena sufficiente, e questo è ancora più deludente se si considera di essere nel Sud Italia, in una regione rinomata per le sue eccellenze gastronomiche. Questo posto, purtroppo, rischia di danneggiarne la reputazione!
21/04/2025: Ho ricevuto un invito da parte di vecchi amici a trascorrere con loro la pasquetta, e siamo stati in questo posto. Al piano terra è ubicata la macelleria e la braceria, ci siamo accomodati al piano superiore in un location modesta, sembra di essere a casa dei nonni, abbiamo mangiato degli antipasti e della carne, tutto buono, anche il vino della casa e i dolci meritano...Il personale accogliente e professionale, e anche il titolare una persona piacevole.... Bravi tutti...... Sicuramente ritorneremo

03/01/2025: Semplicemente una poesia... siamo stati a cena ed abbiamo gustato dell'ottima carne.. spazziando tra tagliate, capocollo di maiale, salsiccia, bombette, costolette al barbecue... e tanto altro... patate e cipolla come da tradizione.. non solo tutto davvero ottimo ma condito da personale sorridente, gentile ed alla mano. Un complimento particolare va a Francesco...
30/08/2024: La migliore braceria a Santeramo dove si può gustare la carne locale cotta sapientemente in un ambiente totalmente rinnovato e accolti da un servizio e gentilezza impeccabile!
Abbiamo cenato in questa braceria degustando dapprima una costata frollata cotta divinamente (senza bisogno di braciere annesso),poi abbiamo proseguito con le tipiche gnummeredde (cotte anch'esse sapientemente),le braciole sia di maiale che di vitello,la salsiccia di vitello (divina) e per finire le bombette DIVINE (degne di nota al PISTACCHIO e allo speck).
Il tutto accompagnato con patate e cipolle alla brace buonissime!
Rapporto qualità, quantità e prezzo TOP.
Peccato la lontananza sennò saremmo clienti fissi!!!

30/03/2025: Forno provvisto di tavolini e servizio al bancone dove è possibile fermarsi per la pausa pranzo. Per motivi di lavoro siamo stati a Santeramo e a pranzo abbiamo sempre mangiato qui, non rimanendo mai delusi.
Carne, pasta e soprattutto prodotti da forno come la focaccia pugliese sempre molto apprezzati e a prezzi contenuti.
Una buona scoperta.
