16/02/2025: Fantastic experience!!! We had lunch at the Stalla, a very welcoming and characteristic place... warm and with attention to detail! The cuisine is excellent: traditional but at the same time with innovative dishes and attention to the smallest details. Interesting wine list and impeccable service. Friendliness and courtesy of the staff in a super location! Highly recommended :)

25/01/2025: We came across this refuge suggested by a friend, home cooking and plentiful. Friendly staff and a nice environment, typical of the place. The polenta with melted cheese was excellent, recommended!!

24/01/2025: A beautiful Sunday morning stroll in Santa Maria Maggiore deserved to be ended with a nice lunch. The Rifugio Il Camoscio in Craveggia is worth the stop. It has a large internal room, a beautiful covered and heated veranda which allows you to have lunch in the heat in winter and a magnificent outdoor veranda excellent for the summer. The menu is rich and varied with traditional mountain dishes and the quality is excellent. Absolutely try the polenta with mixed seasonings. Friendly and efficient staff. Reservations are a must, especially on weekends…

17/01/2025: Very welcoming, excellent service, kind and very helpful staff, my daughter has celiac disease, the chef was very helpful in preparing dishes for her too, we were very satisfied.

03/01/2025: I spent a great New Year's Eve with my family and little grandchildren about 20 years ago and the return was truly pleasant. The new generation that manages it has continued, renewed and updated its hospitality skills, warm welcome and quality in knowing how to put customers at ease. We treated ourselves to days of rest, leisure and excellent Ossola cuisine: all things we found! Have a good experience!
