29/04/2026: I arrived at the hotel late in the evening and was greeted by the owner with the warmth of a five-star hotel. He explained everything to me and recommended a restaurant across the street where I ate very well for a modest price. In the morning, I found breakfast for 10 people, even though, given the season, I was the only guest. I recommend it for its friendliness, cleanliness, and service. It's an older hotel with its age-related flaws. I'll definitely be back.

18/03/2026: DO NOT STAY AT THIS “HOTEL”, it’s similar to Fawlty towers A truly Awful stay, if management spent money on renovations and cleaning it could be okay. Upon arrival at 10:15pm we were charged a €25 late check in fee, for a hotel at 10:15???? The front door was secured with a chain and lock at night. The first room we were offered had black mould behind the bedside lockers(found it because I was looking for a plug), blood or a brown stain on the wall, a carpet with many dark marks of dirty on it. I immediately requested something else, we were given a new room, which was less unacceptable though it had a similar stained carpet, a foul smell from the drains(we had to buy a bathroom fragrance and leave window open-in January!) the old springs in the beds made quite a racket. Our children were in the room above us, they had no stains on the carpet but a parquet wooden floor which creaked with the slightest touch-we could tell when they were awake. Breakfast(the reason I booked🙈): the breakfast cappuccino in the bar was good for the first two midweek days, the food accompanying it was not pleasant, semi stale apricot croissants and stale breakfast cereal. Unfortunately breakfast moved to the “restaurant”🤣 at the weekend, the coffee machine was disgusting and appeared to have not been cleaned, white floating debris in your coffee is not a good sign! The remainder of the food was the same as midweek-bad! Go for a self catering accommodation elsewhere it will be better (anything will be better!!) A rolled cigarette butt which stayed on the fire alarm switch during our stay, not removed during cleaning suggests a dangerous disregard to guests safety. AVOID this place.
