20/02/2025: I went with my partner to this beautiful place; very welcoming and elegant atmosphere.
The food was delicious; I highly recommend the wild boar tagliatelle (very tender and tasty meat) and the orecchiette with shrimp and courgettes (a very difficult dish to create however in this restaurant they have all the skills to make it unique and very tasty)

This seams one of the few restaurants in bardonecchia that truly understand. And don't make you feel awkward for asking about gluten free options.

16/02/2025: We went to dinner on Saturday evening 15/02 with a group of friends, there were 10 of us. We arrived at Campo Smith in Bardonecchia around 7.00pm, we took the chairlift up to the slopes, a snowcat was waiting for us there and transported us to the Chesal refuge. It was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it. The place is charming and the staff are very kind and professional
I ate well but I recommend for the future perhaps increasing the doses of polenta and using a more local product, what I ate honestly seemed like the instant one from the supermarket. For the rest nothing to say.

16/02/2025: Nice little cafe place with decent prices. Beside hot drinks you can have different pastries. The staff speaks English, smile and have good service. The atmosphere is nice and is clean. One suggestion is to make the coffee and the capuccino more warm. Around the coffee place you will find ski rental shops, ski schools. Car parking available and the complex or at less then 5 minutes walk away. Bus stops 2-3 minutes walk.

19/01/2025: Locale molto bello, prezzi alti (131€ 3 raclette, 3 Dolci, 1 acqua e 1 birra). Ci si aspetterebbe maggiore scelta di contorni con la raclette (servito patate, fagiolini, alcuni salumi e cetrioli) e senza anche il vincolo del minimo 2pp per i piatti tradizionali scelti (altrimenti ulteriore sovrapprezzo)

09/03/2025: The hotel is very easy to find and you have parking opposite of the hotel. Check in and out goes quiet easy the staff speak some English but you can get along nicely. The staff is helpful. The hotel is biker friendly. The rooms are clean but they need an upgrading, they aren't 3 star standard at all, maybe 1.5stars but nothing more. They can accomodate big groups. Wifi slows down extremely.if many people start to use it at the same time. The food is very good and plenty of it. The reception is big enough for almost 100 people. The hotel's possition is very good just a few minutes walk from the train station, the town center and shops again few minutes walk, bus station in front of it. To the main road and highway it takes less then 5 minutes drive.

Davide creates a welcoming atmosphere and responds to every customer need with friendliness and professionalism. His friendliness is the true luxury of the hotel. A manager like this really makes the difference in the experience of the stay

19/03/2025: Terribile. I ragazzi che lavorano non hanno idea di come si gestisca un bar. Tempi di attesa imbarazzanti. La signora deputata alla cottura dei panini in affanno continua a dire "che ansia" "cos'hanno da guardare" "se hanno fretta posso andarsene" . Tutto davanti ai clienti. Si sono persi ordini, conteggi di panini sbagliati... Davvero disagiate. Non consiglio

RIFUGIO I RE MAGI

07/02/2025: Bel rifugio in un bel posto! Ho solo usufruito del bar prendendo un panino perchè il ristorante completo. Dicono che per prenotare è meglio un messaggio su Whatsapp perchè il telefono non prende. Però non c'è il POS perchè non c'è internet. Whatsapp si, bancomat no. Mistero !
04/01/2025: Siamo stati al rifugio in 4 amici (due coppie) una notte in mezza pensione 28-29 dicembre. Per arrivarci abbiamo percorso la strada nel bosco, più suggestiva a mio parere rispetto alla gippabile che abbiamo invece utilizzato al ritorno. Al nostro arrivo ci siamo sistemati nelle camerette doppie con letti a castello e abbiamo potuto fare una doccia calda. I bagni sono in comune al piano, comodi e puliti. Dopo qualche partita a carte, alle 19 è stata servita la cena, tutto ottimo e decisamente abbondante! Vari antipasti, polenta e salsiccia, una grande quantità di formaggi e per finire bunet. La notte è passata tranquilla e silenziosa, unica cosa faceva molto caldo, tanto da uscire anche dal sacco lenzuolo. Il giorno dopo abbiamo fatto una ciaspolata fino al Lago Verde, il paesaggio era davvero spettacolare. Sicuramente consigliato in inverno agli amanti delle camminate nella neve con ciaspole o sci, sono curiosa di rivederlo in estate!

11/02/2025: Gran pasta y pizza - increíble servicio, estilo familiar italiano! Limoncello para terminarlo perfectamente. Toda la diversión de la feria
23/12/2024: Piccolo ristorante familiare, carino, tipico all'interno del paese, ma con parcheggio comodo.
Piatti buonissimi, come la zuppa con verza oppure gli gnocchi favolosi, così come i dolci, tutto è preparato da loro, come pure il pane nero ottimo.
