The place is truly beautiful, the staff is excellent, and the service is quick.
The food is very good, and my steak was cooked rare, just the way I like it.
But the prices... €20 for a small beef fillet and €6 for a small basket of frozen fries seems a bit excessive.

We expected better. The dishes didn't wow us and were average, with the exception of the tagliatelle with hare. The veal with tuna sauce was good but a bit grayish, while the polenta was served in a bowl that made it difficult to eat.
Overall, it seems like a place trying to elevate itself to gourmet cuisine, but with some flaws.
I agree with the other reviews complaining about the limited wine selection.

Four of us went for lunch today. The elegant, simple, and welcoming restaurant was perfect after a morning in the mountains.
We were welcomed by the very kind Antonio, who was always friendly and welcoming.
The food was delicious; we tried the appetizer, the first course, and the dessert, all delicious.
We'll definitely be back!

We spent the day in Bardonecchia and couldn't have chosen a better place for lunch. The place is beautiful and quaint, and the staff is always friendly and available to help with the food, which is nothing short of perfect. We'll definitely be back to repeat this experience!

We stumbled upon it by chance because we were hungry 😂
Polenta with spectacular venison, very lean meat, and tasty polenta 😋 The place is really very clean and well-kept, with large tables and spaces, and a bathroom with a changing table.
The lady even looked after our baby while we ate, so I'd say it couldn't be better 🔥
