We expected better. The dishes didn't wow us and were average, with the exception of the tagliatelle with hare. The veal with tuna sauce was good but a bit grayish, while the polenta was served in a bowl that made it difficult to eat. Overall, it seems like a place trying to elevate itself to gourmet cuisine, but with some flaws. I agree with the other reviews complaining about the limited wine selection.

We spent the day in Bardonecchia and couldn't have chosen a better place for lunch. The place is beautiful and quaint, and the staff is always friendly and available to help with the food, which is nothing short of perfect. We'll definitely be back to repeat this experience!

Four of us went for lunch today. The elegant, simple, and welcoming restaurant was perfect after a morning in the mountains. We were welcomed by the very kind Antonio, who was always friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious; we tried the appetizer, the first course, and the dessert, all delicious. We'll definitely be back!

We stumbled upon it by chance because we were hungry 😂 Polenta with spectacular venison, very lean meat, and tasty polenta 😋 The place is really very clean and well-kept, with large tables and spaces, and a bathroom with a changing table. The lady even looked after our baby while we ate, so I'd say it couldn't be better 🔥

Ristorante Du Parc

16/02/2026: Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Valentino Du Parc. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location is really convenient for exploring the city. Breakfast was good and included in the price – although it's served at Pasta e Basta, about 100 meters away, which wasn't a problem for us. The rooms were clean, although the sloping ceilings in the bathroom were a bit awkward, but not a major issue. The only minor drawback was that the room was a little warm. Overall, a pleasant stay and a good choice for a city break in Turin.
24/01/2026: Excellent hotel for the price. It looks recently renovated, isn't very central but is well connected, friendly staff from check-in to check-out, spacious and clean rooms, very comfortable rest, and highly recommended. We also opted for breakfast at a restaurant next to the hotel, which was also very good; not a huge amount but of good quality. I would definitely stay here again if I were back in the city :)
