21/09/2025: The table service employee under the awning didn't pay attention to customer calls. After two calls and two nods, she never showed up! I had to contact one of her colleagues to resolve my issue.
21/09/2025: Excellent food, well cooked fish, the only problem was the table service. After ordering, she allowed herself to scold the person in charge of frying, saying so loudly that we felt that this evening he was very generous with the fried food. The result was that the next course was my first, plates full of squid and very large, mine was much smaller and second choice, the squid. She won't serve us any more than this, we are sure, not very smart to make herself heard.

02/10/2025: Very clean, though basic in decor. The restaurant and pizzeria are separated, even in terms of decor, but I don't think this affects the service, which I found good, although I did get the impression they evaluate the customer before serving them.
Our dog was allowed, and I'm grateful for that.
The dishes are fresh and made to order, and some dishes on the restaurant menu vary depending on the catch.
We had two fish starters and two fish main courses with a bottle of wine for €98, so the prices are reasonable considering everything was fresh, as I mentioned.
I recommend it for a good fish dinner. I couldn't try the pizza because it was closed.

17/07/2025: Franco, il proprietario, è una di quelle persone che purtroppo non trovo più o quasi. Anche in Toscana, mia terra natia, si contano sulle dita di una mano. Oramai è tutto business. Ho potuto fare il locale senza esserlo. Tifoso granata lui e viola io abbiamo fatto in tempo a inneggiare anche all'odiata innominabile. Mangiato benissimo spendendo la metà che a Varese. Irrinunciabile. Ci tornerò di sicuro.
05/06/2025: Che dire, trattorie simili non credo ne esistano più. Non si mangia, si viaggia indietro nel tempo. Pasta tutta fatta in casa, attenzione maniacale per i dettagli, cura del cliente. Peccato che i gestori che sono qui da oltre quarant’anni l’anno prossimo chiuderanno bottega. spero di ritornarci per vivere un’esperienza unica di nuovo.

Excellent food, featuring refined dishes with generous portions, and excellent wines.
The only minor flaw is the moderate use of parsley, but nothing invasive (for me, who hates it).
I often dine there when I'm in the area for work.
Recommended for business lunches and dinners.

The establishment is modern, functional, and well-attended, with a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor tables are perfect for enjoying a sunny day with a well-prepared cappuccino and quality artisanal brioches.
The staff is distinguished by their kindness and attentiveness, always smiling and attentive to their customers' needs. It's located at the beginning of Piazza Monteregale (or at the end, depending on your location!).
A café that manages to combine simplicity and character, worth a visit for both breakfast and a light but tasty lunch. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
