09/03/2024: Ho mangiato la Cesar Sald più ignobile di tutti i tempi!!! Lattuga tagliata a striscioline invece che a foglie, i crostini erano pane secco invece di pane tostato nell’olio. pepe e l’aglio… Parmigiano quasi inesistente, e la salsa Caesar che sembrava più maionese che la vera salsa Caesar, veramente uno schifo, il tiramisù, era un tiramiGIÙ fatto con il maLscaLpone (folmaggio cinese?) e il caffè messo a induzione… un vero peccato perchè bell’ambiente, camerieri giovanissimi e gentili, le pizze avevano un aspetto molto invitante, così come i piatti di carne e verdura… ma io mangio solo insalate e quindi non credo che ci torneró… Sembra anche un posto adatto ai compleanni, ma se ti porti la torta da fuori ti fanno pagare 2€ per ogni persona che sta al tuo compleanno, non ho potuto resistere ed ho fatto la foto al menù!!! ASSURDO! Fai una festa con 20 persone paghi 40€ perchè te l’hanno tagliata!!! Invece di essere grati di avere 20 persone in più quel giorno!!! Comunque, una insalata, un’acqua naturale e un tiramiGiù 24,50€ un po caro per quanto offerto!!! Avrei pagato anche di più se mi avessero portato qualcosa di buono… ADATTO a palati inesperti!!!

27/02/2024: I had dinner with my partner after having waited a long time for this moment and perhaps too much expectation was disappointed. Historic place in Tortona, with a slightly retro 80s location, but which can also be enjoyed. The tables and the distances between them are beautiful. Quick and attentive service, performed with trolleys, something I haven't seen for many years. Good selection of wines, local menu although not very sophisticated I would have expected something more. We took a real plate of raw fish with the addition of some oysters, we had the impression that the 3 types of prawns had no taste of the sea, they seemed to have been washed precisely to remove the taste of the sea, so we didn't like them. The stracotto agnolotti were excellent, certainly the best dish of the evening, while the tagliolini with truffle, artichokes and Montebore tasted only like cheese. The time for desserts arrives... we are presented with 3 carts of each dessert, which I really appreciate, since I have the opportunity to see before ordering. We taste the babà, the tart and a cake with Chantilly. Good but none to leave a good memory. Total bill €150 without receipt which leaves me stunned, we are still at these levels.

08/03/2024: We found the owner of the hotel/restaurant to be a truly unsympathetic and rude person. Precisely for this reason we decided to leave.

03/04/2024: I humbly apologize. In the first review I was convinced that it was another bar. Yours is always crowded and inviting. Friendly and courteous staff. Excellent coffee, cappuccino and croissants. Also an ideal place for a lunch break on the veranda. Highly recommended!
