15/08/2026: A truly welcoming atmosphere, yet discreet and elegant. The staff serving us was impeccable.
Thanks to traditional dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients, my partner and I spent a delightful Ferragosto holiday.
I was particularly impressed by the vitello tonnato and the muletta pasta with figs, both truly excellent.
The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered.
We will definitely be back in the fall.

28/07/2026: First visit to this unique, well-hidden, yet incredibly beautiful restaurant.
We opted for the tasting menu, which began with a three-part amuse-bouche: a roasted cherry tomato, a delicious bite, and a creamy sauce to accompany it.
The agnolotti, like the meat, were cooked to perfection, and the Robuchon mashed potatoes were a dessert in themselves.
And to finish, a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate dessert.
The wines offered were perfect to complement the various dishes on the menu.
The service staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The setting is magnificent; the restaurant is located upstairs in a beautiful old Piedmontese noble house.
I highly recommend going there to be pampered.

28/07/2026: A warm and very typical Piedmontese spot. With its generous and delicious regional cuisine, I've enjoyed stopping here for an evening during my visits to Casale Monferrato for several years now.
The service is very friendly, the wine selection impressive, and the bar where you can enjoy a final digestif after your meal are all assets that make Cicin&Barlichin a restaurant where you'll have a wonderful meal.
I highly recommend it.

30/07/2026: It was a delightful surprise to discover this bistro-restaurant: a refined and atmospheric setting, with elegant furnishings and soft lighting perfectly in keeping with the restaurant's character. The cuisine is a true revelation: you wouldn't expect such delicacy and refined flavors. The carbonara is top-notch, among the best I've ever tasted; the carrot cake is delicious and light. The braised beef was perhaps a tad too spicy for my taste, but the texture and flavors were impeccable. And all of this is vegan! Also noteworthy is the extensive gluten-free selection.

16/08/2026: A traditional restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere that retains the feel of a historic establishment. The staff are very kind and attentive, and the dishes are carefully prepared and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The first and second courses in the photos are half portions (we shared the dishes with my girlfriend, and they were very kind to bring us the half portions directly!). Special mention goes to the red onion tarte tatin and the hazelnut cake.
02/08/2026: Excellent food. The taiarin with Bra sausage ragù was spectacular, as was the chocolate dessert with pears in Barolo (I rarely go crazy for dessert).
Impeccable service; everyone was friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere was well-kept and a bit retro.
In short, everything was perfect.

10/08/2026: Discovered by chance after doing some skydiving, the owners were immediately helpful. The place is rustic, beautiful, and welcoming, and the staff is extremely friendly. We chose typical local dishes, all very good.
Highly recommended.

14/03/2026: A lovely discovery on the outskirts of Casale's city center! A fairly spacious place with two dining rooms, very friendly staff, fresh and well-cooked food (the burger is amazing!), and reasonable prices.
The underground cellar (infernot) is also beautiful, a must-see!

09/08/2026: The meat was excellent quality and reasonably priced. It would be even better if it included a small side dish, which had to be ordered separately. In my case (baked potatoes), it certainly wasn't worth the €6 price tag! They weren't good at all.
Nothing to complain about the service: kindness, speed, and courtesy.
07/07/2026: We were very disappointed. My partner and I, not wanting to eat meat, the option was only a bagna cauda as a second course. We ordered a blended garlic vegetable, the spring onion. There was no shadow at all, but only the completely old fennel stalk with a black edge. I called the waitress and asked for at least the bread and she told me we had run out of bread. 😱 conclusion: two starters, a bagna cauda, a bottle of wine €130
