01/04/2026: A charming madam serves us. Apparently, her husband does the cooking in the kitchen. The madam doesn't speak English, but she asked a young couple nearby to translate for us, and they did their best to communicate with us. When we ordered the local fritto misto, we were surprised to find fried brains, hearts, and livers among the items. We wouldn't have known what they were without the interpreter. At the end, the madam asked us, "How did you find this restaurant?" and when we replied, "Google Maps," she looked confused. Our interaction with the madam made our time at this restaurant very memorable.

24/04/2026: A restaurant near the center, very neat and clean, with a casual atmosphere and friendly, approachable staff. You can tell they pay attention to detail.
I had lunch with my wife, sharing dishes: fried zucchini flowers, truly light and excellent (no photos, they were eaten immediately); agnolotti with white ragù, very good and perfectly flavorful; cabbage with bagna cauda, truly delicious and very flavorful; traditional veal with tuna sauce, delicious; and for dessert, the bonet, truly delicious. Having a daughter who's a pastry chef, I'm always hesitant to order desserts, but this one was truly top-notch.
If I were to pass through Casale Monferrato again, I'd definitely stop by.

Upon entry, a well-stocked bar welcomes you for a delicious aperitif, flanked by a lounge with colorful sofas where you can enjoy it before dining in one of the dining rooms. Simple, comfortable furnishings. Reservations are recommended and appreciated.

03/05/2026: In the heart of Casale lies this historic, traditional inn. My partner and I started with a caramelized onion tarte tatin and veal with tuna sauce, both excellent. I then ordered the purple potato gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese, which were very good, while my partner had the tajarin with Bra sausage, which was also very good. Very professional and friendly service. Recommended!

Edit: This review was written four years later because I happened to pass by the place again. Unfortunately, I didn't get the wrong place; you actually charged me €8 for two cans of Pepsi.
11/03/2026: We arrived at Bar Casale late at night, just as the place was about to close. We were finishing a game of pool, and the bartender, Mattia, who works there, was incredibly kind: instead of sending us away, he waited until we were done, with great availability and courtesy.
A simple gesture that speaks volumes about the attention they pay to their customers. Friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a lot of friendliness. If you're passing through Sant'Ermete, stop by: places like this are truly worth a visit! 🎱🍻

14/03/2026: A lovely discovery on the outskirts of Casale's city center! A fairly spacious place with two dining rooms, very friendly staff, fresh and well-cooked food (the burger is amazing!), and reasonable prices.
The underground cellar (infernot) is also beautiful, a must-see!
