23/03/2025: A special lunch! To celebrate my birthday, my wife and I chose this restaurant again, after the excellent experience last year, and once again we were pleasantly surprised. They were able to please us with a vegetarian menu and a free choice menu from the chef, both with attention to the smallest details. The dishes were delicious and the service impeccable, with an attention that made us feel truly pampered. The final surprise? A cake with a candle, a gesture that made the experience even more memorable. Without a doubt, we will be back! We recommend everyone to try this restaurant!

28/03/2025: Era molto che passando nelle vicinanze volevamo fermarci,ecco fatto prenoto ci accolgono in maniera semplice ma educata una volta seduti leggiamo il menù buona varietà dei piatti proposti ,ordiniamo,devo dire che i piatti sono presentati bene e la qualità è buona.Fine cena con un conto un po’ alto ma ci può stare.

15/04/2025: A rare restaurant nowadays. I have eaten at the Fermata on numerous occasions and every time it is a guarantee. Refined and tasty dishes where the fusion between innovation and tradition manages to satisfy every type of palate. Excellent quality-price not only for the raw material but also for the service, the mise en place, the beginning and the sweet conclusion of the meal: the entrees and the small pastries. I highly recommend.

Very short menu with dishes from the classic Alexandrian cuisine of the past, excellent quality raw materials well cooked, price not cheap, but in line with today's market. The times between one course and another are a little too long in my opinion. However, it is a place worth a visit.

05/05/2025: We had a great time. We had lunch at this place during the week, with our one year old. Everyone was very kind, the place was very nice, tidy and clean. Not a very extensive menu, but with various choices, for all tastes and budgets. We were fully satisfied with what we got. All very good. Our compliments to the chef. We will happily return when we are in the area.

03/05/2025: I recently had the opportunity to dine at Antica Casa Rava and, while appreciating the friendliness of the staff and some specific aspects, the overall experience left me with some doubts. I'll start by highlighting the great care and attention of the guy who served us: a real strength of the place, always available but never intrusive. We opted to try two of their most representative dishes, the "Carborava" and the "Caciorava". I must admit that, despite being interesting vegan reinterpretations, the portions were rather small considering the price of €15.00 per dish. The sauces, while pleasant, didn't particularly excite me. As a second course, the soy braised meat was undoubtedly well done, with a really good consistency. However, I found the lack of a side dish of vegetables a bit limiting, especially in relation to the size of the portion. An honorable mention goes to the desserts: the tiramisu and their interpretation of the coppa del nonno were both exquisite and were the highlight of the meal. We concluded with a coffee and two limoncellos. Regarding the latter, I noticed that they were served at room temperature. While I respected this choice, I would have appreciated being informed in advance, as a drink like limoncello, in my personal taste, is better when served cold. The ambiance of the restaurant is certainly unique, with a style that recalls an old 1950s butcher's shop. Honestly, I didn't fully grasp the connection with the restaurant's vegan offerings, but I recognize the originality of the choice. The location, slightly outside the center, could be a factor to consider. In summary, I found the staff very friendly and the food overall average, with peaks of excellence for the desserts. I wouldn't call the quality-price ratio cheap. At the moment, I don't think I'll be back, except perhaps to enjoy the excellent desserts again.

I was attracted by the reviews and recommendations of friends but honestly it's not for me. For the same price there are much tastier options. Decent starters, disappointing first courses

13/04/2025: Cibo buono ma il problema sono stati i 6 paccheri (di numero) con calamari e pomodorini. Io sono stata fortunata, un'altra ragazza ne ha ricevuti 5. Non so se sia stata una svista ma a mio avviso, un primo, non può essere così misero. È un vero peccato perché era molto buono, ma non avrebbe sfamato nemmeno un bambino dell'asilo.
