16/08/2025: I didn't stop here for a break, but I had breakfast here two days in a row. Absolutely nothing to complain about! A good selection of warm pastries, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The place is clean, and I love the option to purchase local products (e.g., specialty cooking oils, taralli) and all kinds of alcoholic beverages. What can I say? It may seem trivial, but I tasted one of the best infusions I've ever tried here; and finally, the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended.

06/06/2025: bel posto per mangiare all'aperto, con carrellata di antipasti senza fine, primi e secondi da provare. Buono e cordiale anche il servizio . Prezzi ragionevoli calcolando che dopo l'antipasto, si opta per un primo o un secondo spendendo 25/ 30 euro compreso vino acqua e caffè. Da ritornare

31/05/2025: Este restaurante es el mejor para la semana que estamos en Italia: Roma, Piscara, Termoli y ahora aquí, Santa María del Molise. La comida era muy fresca, deliciosa, muchas opciones de antipasto, varias opciones para el plato principal, fabulosa polenta con salchichas caseras y salsa de tomate; 6 varios postres. Pedimos tiramisú limone - fresco y delicioso.

15/06/2025: Simple but very nice place, looking at the photos on Google I think it was recently renovated. Very good pizza and reasonable prices. Meticulousness in preparing the pizza, but in my opinion it's a bit slow in baking, lots of people and only one pizza at a time in the oven, so there's a risk of slowness in serving even a single table. For the rest excellent.

31/08/2025: Dinner at L'Elfo restaurant on August 30, 2025, was overall positive, but there were some areas that could be improved. The restaurant is very charming, well-kept, and welcoming, with a pleasant atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The food quality is good: fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes. Unfortunately, the service was rather slow, with wait times significantly above average, which detracted somewhat from the evening. The presentation of the dishes was also rather sparse: nothing bad, but a little more attention to the plating would make the experience more complete. In summary: excellent cuisine and a beautiful restaurant, but the service and the aesthetics of the dishes could be improved.

20/08/2025: A welcoming, fairytale atmosphere, delicious first courses, and an excellent tagliata with pecorino cheese and red berries. After a while, you don't feel like you're being watched by the elves... The menu offers excellent value and an extensive local wine list. A must-try if you're looking for a delicious tagliolini with black truffle.

04/08/2025: Sorry for the long post, but I thought it was worth sharing, even though I'm not a regular visitor to Vimercate's city center. We met at the Bar del Centro for a folk band that was playing there and that we've been following for years (The Jefferson). Everything had been set up outside on the adjacent street so we could sit or dance to our hearts' content, despite the narrow street. The women were greeted with garlands of flowers and roses by the owners, who, despite the huge crowd, were always present and attentive to everyone's requests, with zero wait times. I didn't try the food, but I voted based on the aroma of the food being passed around! So, congratulations on managing such a challenging event, and for your kindness and courtesy. We'll definitely be back.

10/03/2025: Ci siamo fermate qui per cena dopo una visita medica. Ordiniamo delle bruschette per iniziare, per poi passare a due tagliate con contorno di patate al forno e verdure grigliate. Arrivano i secondi, nel piatto c’erano due tipi diversi di carne (doveva essere solo una tagliata), la carne era praticamente fredda e al sangue, non ci è stata chiesta la cottura. Nel mio piatto trovo un pezzo di plastica della confezione del formaggio, lo faccio presente e mi viene solo detto che sarebbe stato riferito in cucina. Patate e verdure abbastanza buone. Al momento del conto il pos era fuori servizio, quindi abbiamo girato il paese per ritirare per poi tornare a pagare, il conto alto per la scarsa qualità del cibo che ci è stato servito. Mi dispiace ma mi viene anche da pensare che trovandosi delle persone giovani davanti si possa approfittare della loro “ingenuità”, ma vi assicuro che ci siamo rese conto della pessima qualità del servizio che ci è stato offerto.

19/07/2025: A spasso per il Molise, siamo arrivati ad Isernia. Il ristorante ci ha subito colpiti per la struttura in pietra ed un grande e ben curato giardino.Dopo una prima cena che ci ha completamente soddisfatti, siamo tornati di nuovo: cibo ottimo, servizio celere ed impeccabile, personale gentile e cordiale.Di sicuro, se dovessimo capitare in zona,sapremmo dove cenare.Bravi!

08/08/2025: A very popular place, make sure to book. It feels like home. Nothing fancy, just delicious, popular cuisine, topped off with friendly service. The pizzas are excellent. Worth a visit, especially since the bill is never too high.

19/07/2025: Fixed menus, and very good pizza 🍕 .... Parking is usually upstairs, on the left near the fairgrounds, with 2 spots in the first white-lined parking spaces, or in the hospital area near the Carabinieri forestry station. In the evening, it's free after 7:00 PM.

06/04/2025: Quiet place in the middle of the mountains, but a little too neglected. Homemade and good cuisine, but very 80s. Went for a dinner with friends on an evening of live music. The straw chairs were broken, and the garden much neglected. It has potential, but it's not being exploited.

You often hear this phrase when you feel particularly comfortable in a place. 4 friends for an excursion around Lake San Vincenzo, we choose this place without too much information about it. Nice location, in the middle of nowhere with a unique view. The smell of wood, a warm fireplace and a truly welcoming dining room. Excellent food, superlative wine. Rosa and Livio always available. Top

04/05/2025: Terrible staff, the other evenings were certainly more polite and welcoming. 1) If a waiter wants to go home it is right that he keeps it to himself, despite the tiring shift and the time close to closing. 2) Giggling and wanting to send the last customers away immediately is not professional, among other things if they respected the arrival and end times and, in addition, if there was still a table occupied by people who were talking. 3) if the customer asks for a separate account, this is right. Not a shared account. 4) YES, you can be heard if you speak behind the door of the pass, I'm telling you this to avoid future bad impressions. Excellent pizza as always. Nothing to say about the food. In summary, in my opinion, I appreciate the smile of one of them, even if it was clearly forced and untrue. PS. I speak as a person who also works in this sector, although I don't consider myself anything special, but always ready to learn something. At least, as a customer, I want to be treated with dignity, since the money is mine after all. Even though I think of this as a particularly stressful evening for the waitresses, it doesn't take anything away from the fact that I expected better service, as perhaps it could have been other times when I went for takeaway.
