Breakfast leaves a little to be desired, as it's very limited in variety and quantity. Otherwise, the rooms are clean and the prices reasonable.

25/08/2025: A fantastic experience discovering the authentic flavors of Molise. It looks like a normal café, but in the tiny kitchen, an Italian grandmother conjures up fabulous dishes that exude tradition and authenticity. Definitely worth a try!

12/10/2025: A historic restaurant in Capracotta, a must-see gastronomic destination! We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed: the atmosphere is comfortable, the welcome, and the service are excellent. The food is exceptionally tasty and reasonably priced. Reservations are essential, especially on Sundays. We returned for lunch after several months, again on Sundays and always by reservation. I confirm the positive feedback I've expressed in the past. The menu changes regularly, depending on the season. This time, we skipped the appetizers to avoid filling up quickly and went straight to the delicious first courses and the excellent grilled meats. House desserts, DOC rosé wine, water, and coffee cost just over €40 per person, a price we spent without regrets.

29/09/2025: One of the very few original 16th-century cave-cellars that survived the devastation of World War II, which razed Capracotta, now houses a charming restaurant. The owners are cheerful, kind, and welcoming, serving cuisine that is attentive to the local area and its presentation, with a modern touch that is never pretentious or self-serving. The ingredients tell the story of a rural and mountainous Molise, generous and simple, with a natural refinement that reflects the beauty of the landscape surrounding Elfo. The background music is highly appreciated, refined and culturally relevant, featuring the best Italian singer-songwriters and foreign easy rock, yet never intrusive.

23/08/2025: What a shame I paid €11 for a Margherita pizza instead of €6, and an extra €5 for asking for two mushrooms. Apparently, the manager doesn't like French speakers!

20/08/2025: I come to the Marche region a few times a year, and ever since I discovered you, I can't help but think about when I'll try your pizza. I've tried so many, but I can say it's perhaps the best I've ever eaten. Light and thin, but it doesn't break despite the delicious filling, the high, soft crust (try pressing it and it comes back because the dough is so soft and well-made). Made to perfection, the quality of the raw materials is super. Very easy to digest, in fact, after one pizza you'd eat another. We also had our beloved Mexican potatoes (light and delicious), a crouton/roll, and the inevitable dessert (last year I remember the delicious Pan di Stelle cake and Kinder cheesecake).

15/06/2025: Simple but very nice place, looking at the photos on Google I think it was recently renovated. Very good pizza and reasonable prices. Meticulousness in preparing the pizza, but in my opinion it's a bit slow in baking, lots of people and only one pizza at a time in the oven, so there's a risk of slowness in serving even a single table. For the rest excellent.

08/10/2025: Livio, his wife, and his daughter are very friendly and lovely people. The farmhouse is nestled in the countryside with a breathtaking view overlooking Castelnuovo al Volturno. The authentic, locally sourced cuisine will leave you speechless. Highly recommended!

28/09/2025: I stopped by chance with a group of friends at this restaurant in Isernia. We ate very well and the welcome was excellent. I recommend it. The dishes are plentiful and tasty. Top.

18/09/2025: The Borgotufi Albergo Diffuso is a gem in Molise that few know about, but it's a beautiful area. Everything is a pleasant surprise, from the stone houses to the kindness of the staff to the excellent restaurant...and let's not forget the spa. We'll definitely be back.

12/09/2025: A pleasant, unexpected discovery Discovered almost by chance during an evening motorcycle ride, cold and hungry, we stumbled upon Botte 40. We didn't have high expectations: we just wanted a quick stop and a bit of relaxation before hitting the road again. We were greeted with great kindness and immediately felt at ease. The service was impeccable: fast, attentive, and friendly. We ordered two pizzas, a calzone filled with cooked ham, provola, and tomato, and a diavola. As Neapolitans, we know what to look for in a pizza, and while it wasn't the kind of pizza we'd find in childhood, the dough and the quality of the ingredients pleasantly surprised us. Plus, the portions are truly generous. It was an unexpected stop, but it turned out to be a real revelation. We'll definitely be back!
