It's essential to be clear and objective.
It's impossible to eat badly at this trattoria. At lunch, as well as at dinner.
Everything is good and tasty. The meat is exquisite, the pasta dishes (I'm thinking of their pansoti in walnut sauce, for example) are excellent and plentiful. The focaccia with cheese stands out: for me, it's absolutely the best on our Riviera di Levante, with the exception of a legendary bakery in Recco (I won't write the name, ask in private).
The friendly and kind waitress is always ready to please and put on a good face for the dozens of customers (who all have different personalities).
The cleanliness of the premises is obvious, why complain?
The bill is always reasonable.

In Levanto, it seems like many people are only looking for "Instagrammable" places, gourmet prices, and tiny plates. Luckily, there are still places like this, where what really counts is what's on the table.
Don't be fooled by the somewhat discreet and dark entrance or the rustic and unique atmosphere, with its retro-style dining room and paneled walls that might surprise those expecting a classic chic restaurant. People come here to eat well, a lot, and with authentic flavors.
The seafood dishes are simple but done right: generous portions, tasty fish, and first courses that nowadays seem almost impossible to find for €12-13. Yet it still happens here. Honest cuisine, without fuss.
Special mention for the Recco-style focaccia: spectacular. Crispy on the outside, stringy on the inside, one of those things that alone makes the dinner worthwhile.
You can breathe in the atmosphere of old-fashioned trattorias, where the decor may not be perfect, but you leave happy, full, and with the feeling of having discovered an authentic place. And ultimately, in Liguria, that's exactly what many tourists should be looking for.

We happened upon it by chance at two in the afternoon on a weekday. They welcomed us courteously, and in all honesty, we tried the very reasonably priced "work" menu. They surprised us with a delicious fried anchovy and red mullet dish with a mixed salad, a glass of white wine, and water. Everything was truly fresh. We saw splendid, delicious pizzas being brought to other diners. All in all, a lucky stop.
