After almost an hour of waiting (and the place was empty) we were served some embarrassing dishes, including one that was completely burnt. From a low level canteen. The reception and the service were surly and incompetent, unfriendly and rude. . We got up from the table without having had dinner. At the time of the bill, after having clearly reported the terrible experience, the bill was presented and paid in full. TERRIBLE and UNLIKELY EXPERIENCE. Chilling, even for the internal temperature! 😅

Never before has such an experience happened while traveling the world. After an hour of waiting with the room empty, an absolutely sad dish arrived, not even in a company canteen. The interior of the room is full of various gadgets and paintings. It depends on taste and not everyone likes it. But nice atmosphere overall. Meanwhile people continued to arrive. As an order we took: meat appetizer with cured meats and cheeses to share, a lime garden pizza and a sliced ​​coarse salt and rosemary. We are asked if we want a fornarina with the starter. Let's hope it's offered. And instead anal of the evening. It is charged at the end of dinner for 4.50 euros. Okay, we were expecting it. After all, both the starter (meat and cheese) and the pizza and steak were very good. Very tender and well cooked meat and excellent pizzas too. The food was all good. Pizza cooked in a wood oven. Too bad that when they took away our empty plates the waitress completely forgot about us. He went back and forth from the kitchen to the living room and vice versa but never asked us again. We wanted to have a dessert and a coffee and after 20 minutes of waiting we finally gave up and left. We go to the cash register and the gentleman who was there calls the waitress to make us pay. So I was stunned. Do you have only one waitress in the restaurant who is not even very quick at her job and you even allow yourself to put her at the register with everything she has to handle? Pure madness. However, the waitress was always kind and with a smile, she made us pay, greeted us and everything went well. Unfortunately the place on the outside is in really bad shape and if it weren't for a new restaurant sign it would be difficult to find. Luckily there is free parking at the sports field at the end of the street and getting there is quite easy. Another small note. The brunette at 4 euros is starting to be a steal. If you go to Fano you pay around 2/2.50 euros. Are you making gold here? I do not believe. Be careful of these things. Furthermore, the cut could have been slightly more generous for the price, even if it was honest. Rearrange the outside of the place and it wouldn't hurt inside either. After that I recommend it. From the reviews we also thought we were eating badly. However, quite the opposite. All good and all good. If it weren't for the biblical timing of the moment with the waitress who no longer listened to us and some precautions

25/02/2025: Authentic, cheap and tasty. This is how restaurants used to be like in Italy in the 80s and 90s. Family run, everything is homemade (pasta desserts) a bit dated but honestly priced and no modern fusion food rubbish. Go.

25/02/2025: This restaurant is a real gem. Like in a time machine we were transported to the 80s when the food was genuine and the prices were honest. Frankly we ate better than many other (more pretentious) places in Urbino. All homemade, all delicious. Ps: I don't understand the negative reviews about this place. It's a good thing I didn't read them before because otherwise I would have missed out on this wonderful experience

03/11/2024: Ce lo avevano consigliato come uno dei migliori ristoranti..Abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia di vino rosso e ce l’hanno portato bianco (tra l’altro lo hanno aperto e lasciato sul tavolo senza farcelo assaggiare). Alla segnalazione della nostra richiesta di vino rosso e non bianco si sono giustificati dicendo che il rosso era finito. Ma a parte questo errore, il tartufo presente nei primi era senza sapore ed anche la tagliata era piena di grasso e con tartufo nero insapore. Locale sconsigliato per chi viene alla ricerca di assaporare tartufo.

09/02/2025: Terrible service due to delays, approximation and laziness. Radio Subasio's Americana is in your ears everywhere. Not very tasty pasta arrived half an hour after the end of the starter and overcooked, despite having been assured that it would be al dente. Given the new delay between first and second, our stomachs closed and we thought of paying and leaving. Unfortunately we stayed and after a few geological eras we got a "zigotto" with an inedible fake sauce that tasted like flour, unseasoned supermarket vegetables and cold "baked" potatoes. Definitely too expensive for what it is. It's a shame about this negative experience, because Urbino is beautiful, we've always had a good time elsewhere and we would have preferred to have only positive memories.

24/02/2025: I celebrated my graduation with about ten people at this place and I was definitely satisfied! By prior agreement with the venue we established a menu with food and drinks to which you could make changes and additions according to a clear and precise price list. I really appreciated the well-kept, particular but elegant rooms with the classic exposed brick. The availability, care of the service and kindness of the staff were impeccable. Really good cold cuts! Right portions for an aperitif! Thank you
