I had the pleasure of dining with my boyfriend at Degusteria del Gigante in San Benedetto del Tronto, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. We chose the 8-course tasting menu: a true sensory journey where every dish was meticulously crafted, surprising, and always more special than the last. The quality of the ingredients, the creative pairings, and the impeccable presentation make each course a small masterpiece. You can sense the chef's passion and love for cooking, as well as the attentive, professional, and friendly service that makes you feel pampered from start to finish. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality culinary experience that will excite and leave wonderful memories. We can't wait to return! If you're passing through San Benedetto, you absolutely must visit!

09/08/2025: SIGI, the owner and mastermind behind this culinary adventure, has created a place where guests can truly explore local flavors and traditions while comfortably seated in a beautiful setting or, weather permitting, outdoors on a quaint street. The menu is limited in choice, as it varies greatly based on availability and the chef's flair. The dining room staff is top-notch, attentive but not intrusive, and the food—well, you have to try it. The only way to improve your dinner would be to have Sigi at your table and hear how this or that dish, or that particular wine, came about. Always a pleasure to return. P.S. Always ask him for recommendations, even for dishes you would NEVER have chosen.

One of the best places to eat in San Benedetto for an aperitif or dinner, thanks also to their selection of natural wines. Highly recommended.

11/10/2025: It was so tangy and impregnated with oil right down to its DNA that I got up in the night and drank a diger seltzer to digest a "fried" fish dish that, more than fried, seemed boiled in oil of which the owner who "fries" to please the customer is a mystery as to what type or chemical compound he uses (certainly not peanut oil).

There are places where you go for food or a drink, and then there are places like this, where you return for the experience, the people, the atmosphere. This pub (which is much more than just a pub) is one of those rare places where you feel welcomed like an old friend, even if it's your first time. Every dish, served with surprising speed, spoke of the care and passion the staff puts into every detail. The flavors were authentic, bold but never banal, and accompanied by an excellent selection of drinks that demonstrates careful and thoughtful research. But what really makes this place special is the genuine kindness of those who work there. It's hard to find such a sincere welcome these days, made not just of smiles, but of small gestures that make you feel important, recognized, at home. A heartfelt thank you goes to all the staff, not only for the wonderful evening, but also for the gift they gave us: an unexpected and precious thought that we will carry with us. 16/09/2025: We went to dinner at this restaurant after seeing several photos of their desserts. We ordered a truffle butter dumpling, bao, and mango and cashew chicken. All three were delicious; the dishes were carefully crafted and beautifully presented, and above all, they tasted particularly good. Finally, we ordered the Boom dessert, which was beautiful to look at and very tasty. The waiters were very kind and the service was fast. We will definitely be back.

The fried food was dry and very light. Excellent roast sea bass with a unique flavor. The house wine paired perfectly with the dishes. Adequately priced. The service was professional and helpful. The ingredients and cooking times for each course were clearly indicated. The price was more than reasonable.

Roof in the room? But not match other half of serving room. Plastic shelf under air condition. Atmospehere just cold. Service not so great they try to look like. Truly, food was good but all above spoil the impression.

26/08/2025: I went one evening with friends and family and we were very satisfied: the raw seafood was excellent, the local appetizers were excellent (too many, haha), and the first courses were also good! The owner was always attentive and friendly, as was the young man who served us, who was friendly and very knowledgeable in explaining the dishes. Highly recommended!
