Also excellent for post-aperitivo snacks and appetizers. Popular with cyclists/motorcyclists, hikers, families, and entrepreneurs. The menu offers bulk wine...but the "Chef" focuses on the quality and abundance of the food.

24/07/2025: €47 for three! Appetizers, three first courses, a second course, side dishes, coffee, and an after-dinner drink. Everything is homemade: pasta, porcini mushrooms, lamb. Authentic, grandmother-style flavor. No frills, just flavor and substance. A tiny place, hidden on a bend in the Sibillini Mountains. Greenery, silence, fresh air, and a family-like welcome. Chat with the waitress, the people at your table, and the house wine. Book in advance, as seating is limited, and those who know it return. A timeless place. You eat like a king, spend little, and return happy.

Neanche a dirlo, olive ascolane ottime sia classiche che al tartufo e poi gli immancabili Arrosticini, una carne morbida, succosa e saporita! Consiglio di provare gli Alexandra. 04/08/2025: Siamo molto soddisfatti, cibo molto buono, abbiamo preso di tutto, antipasti, primo, pizza, arrosticini e contorni. Apprezzato tutto! Siamo stati serviti dal proprietario immaginiamo, molto molto attento a tutte le esigenze e peculiarità. Ottima impressione dopo tante volte che volevamo fermarci abbiamo trovato fortunatamente l'occasione. Da abbruzzesi abbiamo apprezzato gli arrosticini, tutte le versioni scelte. Ci torneremo assolutamente, valuteremo anche l'asporto ma gli arrosticini sono da mangiare caldi! Bravi, complimenti.

24/08/2025: The staff seemed friendly, the appetizers were average, the first course very salty, and the main course was tuna that wasn't really tuna, or a type I've never eaten. The seared one looked like it was boiled (also very salty), and the cutlet looked like something from McDonald's. The wine was the highlight. PS: 50 cents off for your forgiveness.

I had the pleasure of dining with my boyfriend at Degusteria del Gigante in San Benedetto del Tronto, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. We chose the 8-course tasting menu: a true sensory journey where every dish was meticulously crafted, surprising, and always more special than the last. The quality of the ingredients, the creative pairings, and the impeccable presentation make each course a small masterpiece. You can sense the chef's passion and love for cooking, as well as the attentive, professional, and friendly service that makes you feel pampered from start to finish. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality culinary experience that will excite and leave wonderful memories. We can't wait to return! If you're passing through San Benedetto, you absolutely must visit!

09/08/2025: SIGI, the owner and mastermind behind this culinary adventure, has created a place where guests can truly explore local flavors and traditions while comfortably seated in a beautiful setting or, weather permitting, outdoors on a quaint street. The menu is limited in choice, as it varies greatly based on availability and the chef's flair. The dining room staff is top-notch, attentive but not intrusive, and the food—well, you have to try it. The only way to improve your dinner would be to have Sigi at your table and hear how this or that dish, or that particular wine, came about. Always a pleasure to return. P.S. Always ask him for recommendations, even for dishes you would NEVER have chosen.

03/08/2025: A nice, yet fairly classic seafood restaurant. The staff is friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. The fish is fresh, cooked to perfection "alla Sambenedettese." The prices are more than fair. A very positive experience, which will certainly prompt further visits. My only complaint, which doesn't affect the overall result, is that the tripe was a bit too spicy 😅. Well done 👌

12/07/2025: Catch of the day, but not the usual fried fish. Original, tasty, and delicious appetizers. The fettuccine with lupini beans (large) and calamari was very flavorful yet delicate. The fish of your choice (there were 4 of us): monkfish, fried fish, and fish soup with the catch of the day were fantastic.

We will definitely be back – and recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to experience a special evening in Ascoli. Tip: If possible, reserve a table outside under the pergola! An evening full of enjoyment and hospitality – Locanda Imperfetta, Ascoli Piceno Just a five-minute walk from the impressive Piazza del Popolo lies this beautiful restaurant – a real insider tip. Although our reservation via WhatsApp was lost, the service team responded fantastically: Despite the full house, they spontaneously arranged a nice table for us. A huge compliment to their flexibility and professionalism! The ambience is stylish and inviting: exposed stone walls, lovingly decorated elements, and a harmonious atmosphere that invites you to linger – both inside and out. The outdoor area under the pergola is a particular highlight for warm evenings, but the interior is also tastefully and comfortably designed. The service was consistently excellent – fluent English, extremely polite, and absolutely professional. This isn't something you'd expect in this region, and it made our visit even more enjoyable. We were also thoroughly spoiled with culinary delights: For starters, we enjoyed the classic Olive all'Ascolana and a deep-fried burrata with homemade tomato sauce – a dream! For main courses, we chose the cold-sliced roast beef and the buttery-tender beef cheeks – both excellently prepared and beautifully presented. Compliments to the kitchen!

05/07/2025: Ho avuto il piacere di cenare alla Locanda Imperfetta durante un soggiorno ad Ascoli Piceno e ne sono rimasta davvero colpita.L’atmosfera è accogliente e curata nei dettagli, il personale cordiale e sempre attento. Ho iniziato con un antipasto di prosciutto delizioso accompagnato da carciofi croccanti, poi ho assaggiato la tartare di carne, fresca e condita alla perfezione, e una pappa al pomodoro ricca di sapori, con olive, burrata e un mix di gusti che si sposavano benissimo. La pasta era semplicemente squisita, ben condita e cotta al punto giusto, mentre l’agnello era tenero e gustoso, servito con patate croccanti davvero invitanti. È stata una cena di grande soddisfazione, in un posto dove si percepisce passione e attenzione per la cucina. Consiglio questa locanda a chiunque voglia gustare ottimi piatti e trascorrere una serata piacevole!

01/07/2025: Not far from that overrated culinary San Benedetto del Tronto leaning against the sea is Raciò which is a nice surprise. The owners are very good at cooking less overused than that of the chalets (I feel like putting an s but I'll hold back) with fish salads that are now all the same. In this place there is a feeling of good feelings and flavors not only related to fish; for example, I ate a nice first course of mezze maniche with datterini sauce and stracciatella but first I made myself some juicy meatballs en sponzate that my wife dunked in my shoes out of envy. Anyway, here's the point, at a certain point you feel you have to distance yourself from many, from the seasonal chefs, from the lights on the seafront, from the barcode menus, from the hubbub of the holidays and from the structured companies to take refuge in the intimacy of an immoral recipe like bread and tomato (Manuel Vasquez Montalban) and that place there can only be Raciò to whom my compliments go.
