18/03/2026: After driving past it for years, we stopped in for lunch today. The service was fast, the staff young and friendly. The dishes were excellent: ragù like you'll find in very few restaurants, chicken and potato parcels baked like my grandmother used to make, and the off-menu tiramisu was a must-try. After all this, we discovered that a 26-year-old woman works hard in the kitchen, alone by choice. At that point, we appreciated the service and food even more. The cost per person is between 15 and 20 euros if you order off-menu. We're from Varese, and we'll be back next time. We highly recommend it.

11/10/2025: I've celebrated two birthdays and a baptism at this place, and never had a single complaint. We returned in June to celebrate the baby's baptism. Everything was impeccable: service, cleanliness, and food, except for the part everyone's waiting for: THE CAKE! I asked for a cream tart, but no one ate it; it all came back! It had to be cut with a chainsaw! Unfortunately, they weren't even supposed to present that cake; it didn't even look the way they asked for! A word of advice: change your pastry chef, or if they're not capable, tell them they can't make this type of cake! 02/05/2026: I discovered Cascina del Lupo while I was in the area looking for a romantic restaurant surrounded by greenery, and I must say it was a perfect choice. The restaurant is truly beautiful, both inside and out, with meticulous attention to detail. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing, ideal for a special dinner. The clientele also contributes to the pleasant and refined atmosphere. I recommend looking at the photos, because they give an even better idea of ​​the place. I highly recommend it!

19/04/2026: Stopped for lunch, got a pan-fried dish for three... I don't know if it was really for three, but it was enough for us, asking for more bread, which wasn't enough... considering the €4 cover charge! The classic desserts were good, the location was very nice! Overall, everything was good, but it didn't justify the price, expensive compared to the average.

Not much choice, mostly cured meats, a few hot dishes, but all meat. Good wines, fairly good quality, but still high prices. €60 for two with a platter and four glasses of wine... four not because we drink a lot but because they don't pour much! Good, okay, but one of those places where after trying it you say, "Nice, I've been there, bona!"

26/10/2025: I stumbled upon this trattoria by chance. It was a wonderful experience. The prices are incredibly low; it's only open Thursday evenings and then during the week for lunch. You're really spending very little, but the quality of the food is worth much more than other trattorias in the area. You can find chickpea soup, pasta and beans, fettuccine with pesto ragù. Then, for the main course, every dish is fabulous, from the homemade meatballs, boiled meat, pork, oven-baked ribs, and grilled fish. And the side dishes are delicious, from baked French fries to boiled potatoes with green beans and parsley. The desserts are exquisite and homemade, from the warm strudel, pine nut cake, and finally a very special house liqueur, the agrumello. All for the simple price of €21, full menu. Thanks to the staff.
