06/04/2026: We ate really well. The dishes were well-prepared, with great care, the service was very pleasant, clean, and reasonably priced.
The dining room where we ate is a bit old-fashioned, but that's not a flaw, it's true Valtellina, which holds up despite everything and is in pleasant harmony with the freshness of the cuisine and service. We came here 35 years ago for our wedding reception; since then, before this evening, we'd only been back once: it was a mistake. We'll try to make up for it in the coming years.
03/04/2026: A traditional restaurant serving typical Valtellina cuisine. Try the taroz (which are increasingly rare to find on Valtellina menus).

Very friendly staff, a very characteristic atmosphere, and top-quality food.

29/03/2026: I am a Valtellinese from 1971. I saw a good review of the restaurant in question in Centro Valle (the weekly magazine for our beautiful valley) and I decided to try this experience. The specialty is pizzoccheri... the dish that epitomizes the local identity. I would advise customers to try other places too.

I ordered the pizzoccheri. Delicious and plentiful, enough for lunch.
I'm from Milan, and the price I paid was HALF of what I expected. Incredible. SUPER place. Good job, seven plus!
When I'm in the area, I'll only go here!

27/04/2026: Terrible hotel!
My partner and I stayed at this hotel on the night of April 11-12, 2026. We chose it because it seemed to offer good value and was a convenient base for catching the Bernina Express from Tirano the following morning.
Objectively, the hotel doesn't look good. It's currently undergoing renovations, except for the facade and the entrance/bar. The room was awful and had nothing in common with the photos on various booking platforms, which appear much nicer and more welcoming. Dim lights, cracks in the walls, extremely uncomfortable mattresses... even the bathroom doesn't have towel racks.
After raising my concerns with the room at the front desk and suggesting that I might have booked the wrong room, I was told that all rooms are like this.
Since the property is under renovation and the main service it offers (i.e., overnight accommodations) is extremely poor, I don't think it's worth the asking price.
In any case, credit must go to the staff, who were always very helpful, even when we requested breakfast earlier than the time they indicated.

25/08/2024: Ho visitato questa cantina con la mia famiglia grazie ad uno Smartbox ricevuto in regalo, per la visita e degustazione ci ha seguiti Miriam, una ragazza molto preparata e competente. Ottimi sia i vini che i prodotti locali tant'è che dopo una passeggiata nei dintorni siamo tornati per cenare. Esperienza molto bella e interessante grazie anche alla gentilezza dei ragazzi
18/08/2024: Siamo arrivati in questa cantina per degustare e comprare i vini del chiavennasca io e la mia famiglia.siamo "stati accolti" da una giovane donna la quale, per motivi a noi poco chiari è stata scontrosa e poco professionale.Dopo averle chiesto qualche informazione generica sui vini prodotti chiediamo consiglio su quale vino degustare, la ragazza non solo mantiene un atteggiamento arrogante, ma ci lascia totalmente a noi, così decidiamo di bere tre vini. Ci presenta sul tavolo i tre bicchieri
bicchieri tutti assieme senza presentarci la bottiglia, e alla mia domanda: " che dosaggio zuccherino ha il brut?"lei ci risponde malissimo del tipo che ne so io , manco avessi chiesto quanto dista la luna dal sole.
Finiamo di bere i vini compriamo le nostre bottiglie e c'è ne andiamo senza essere salutati da nessuno se nn da un ragazzo di passaggio,chiedendoci come sia possibile essere così poco professionali con il cliente in base alle simpatie di prime impatto. non mi resta che dare una pessima recensione al servizio ma un' ottima recensione allo sforzato "il messere 2019(caven) "e "l' inferno 2017(nera)".

04/11/2024: Il servizio a pranzo inizia alle 13, quando iniziano ad uscire le pietanze che vengono portate, in modo forse un po’ confuso, ai tavolo. Il menù (33€ adulti 15€ bambini) comprende antipasto di salumi con sottaceti, pizzoccheri (senza verze), costine, spezzatino, polenta, dolce (possibilità di scelta), caffè e bevande. Mangiare tutto è per pochi, sarebbe forse meglio avere la possibilità di scegliere se mangiare primo o secondo, adeguando la spesa. La qualità di quanto offerto è discreta, l’unico avanzo è stato il gelato che risultava ‘farinoso’. Personale gentile e disponibile. Possibilità di sedersi dentro o fuori. Bel posto raggiungibile anche con una passeggiata nel bosco.
25/08/2024: Cibo nella norma. Poca chiarezza sul menù fisso (nessun cartello e nessuna indicazione ai tavoli sulla portata del secondo). Ancora meno chiarezza sul prezzo pagato, ovviamente senza ricevuta.
