18/04/2026: Terrible experience. The chef clearly labeled us as tourists, feeling entitled to offer us shoddy and inattentive service. The food was soulless and tasteless, compounded by the wine that seemed watered down. Even though we weren't tourists, we suffered the typical treatment reserved for those who aren't supposed to know much about local cuisine. A €100 bill for two was completely disproportionate to the (disgusting) quality of the food served. When passion is missing, all that's left is a hefty bill and a lot of disappointment.

05/04/2026: We chose Locanda del Transito (Osteria Manfredi) for Easter lunch and can say without a doubt that it was a fantastic experience! 🐣✨ Everything was truly exquisite, with a menu full of delicious and carefully crafted dishes, where each dish was prepared with great care and flavor. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion in the kitchen. 🍽️😋 A big shout-out also goes to the staff, who were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive, making us feel welcomed and pampered throughout the lunch. 👏😊 It's definitely a great place not only for special occasions like Easter, but also for lunch breaks or aperitifs, thanks to the pleasant atmosphere and impeccable service. 🥂

19/05/2025: Excellent pastry shop in Desio, can make gluten-free or normal cakes. We have a guest intolerant to gluten, we used the latter and I must say that it was really beautiful and good! The owner at first sight seemed very sure of herself and now we know why! Just look at what a beautiful cake she made, a few instructions were enough and the result was fully achieved!

11/05/2025: I purchased some pastries on May 10th for my birthday, thinking I would receive fresh produce of the day. After the purchase, upon my request, I was issued an indemnity to take to a place and only then, as written, did I discover that the desserts were not fresh and had been produced on 8-9 May (deadline reported as 13 May). Unfortunately, the quality confirmed my doubts: the pastries were not good, the creams were hard, the puff pastry was dry and the cannoncini were soft. It all felt stale. Obviously they advanced, it was awkward with the guests. In the photo you can notice the soft and stale appearance of the cannoncino that I tried to eat this morning, I'll let you imagine the flavour. All this for a good 40 euros (wasted) for just over 30 pastries. Bad experience, won't be back. I do not recommend.

28/09/2025: When I entered, it was deserted, and they left me waiting alone for 10 minutes. Instead of asking me what I wanted to eat, they asked me if I was a follower or a cadet (which I still don't know what that means). In the end, frightened by the atmosphere and the long wait, I ran away.

20/09/2025: Microwaved food, no kitchen. Service is provided by someone who brings the dishes and heats them up in the microwave behind the counter. They only accept cash. No receipt, just a piece of paper of questionable authenticity.

06/11/2025: We were a group of friends and we had a drink, simple place without pretensions, very kind staff

27/09/2025: Nice place with a tobacconist, good beer, the price of a juice is a bit too high at 4 euros. And I thought the aperitif would be a bit more substantial. The rest of the place is clean.

13/02/2026: Well, since I've been here before, I can say I'm used to it. Besides, the portions (in this case, for me, a 12-year-old girl) are way too big! Even if you try asking for smaller portions, I can't say the food isn't good, but it's certainly not among the best.

04/01/2026: I ordered four takeout pizzas. I called at 6:30 PM, and they arrived at 8:05 PM. The Capricciosa was inedible; I couldn't tell what kind of pizza it was. The ham one had no ham, and the spicy salami one had two slices of salami. A terrible experience.

03/08/2025: Staff: incompetent, inept, useless, indifferent, and so on!!! It doesn't surprise me that they've been looking for staff for over a year!!! The quality of the pastries is zero, the girls serving the pastries (yes, because it takes two people to serve the pastries) are incompetent. We asked for three pastries, two with cream and one with cereal and honey. When we cut them to eat, they were filled with berries and apricots!!!! When I pointed out the mistake to the staff, their reaction was total indifference!!!! WE HAD to ask for a change of pastries!!! Now let's talk about the guy who makes the coffees. The coffee machine was extremely dirty, the spout used to heat the milk was caked, the worktop was filthy!!!! And no one should tell me why they don't have time, because in the 10 minutes we were there, they did everything but work!!!

06/07/2025: Super cute bar, delicious coffee. But the real strength of this bar is its staff. Friendly, kind girls, each one of them skilled at making every type of drink. Finally, a cappuccino worthy of the name!! Every time I return, it's always a confirmation of the quality of this welcoming, family-friendly place. EVERYONE IS WELL DONE!! I highly recommend it!!

28/03/2026: I've only had coffee there so far, but the owner is friendly, old-school, and incredibly courteous. I can't say more. A meeting point for XC mountain bikers in the Groane Park.

03/12/2025: I stopped for breakfast during a bike ride... the place is nice and I was served kindly. Good cappuccino and croissants.

29/01/2026: Unfortunately, the fillings—anything you choose, because we tried different ones—were diminished. I gave the food two stars not because it wasn't good, but because there wasn't much of it.

05/01/2026: It's the only place I've been where there's no line-skipping option. If you ordered online, you still have to wait in line. Today (the last time we'll be there), we showed up with a confirmed online order—and it had already been charged. They didn't have any orders in my name, so we waited 15 minutes, and while we were at our table, a refund message arrived. When we complained about the poor service, the girl at the register excused herself by saying, "There's only two of us here today." We went to the America Graffiti next door.

30/03/2026: We booked a table for 6 (4 adults and 2 children). 3 pizzas, 1 chicken, 2 steaks (the stated 500g weight was less than 300g, due to the fact that it was cooked completely incorrectly). The kitchen and pizzeria are not coordinated. One pizza, for a child, arrived just as we'd all finished dinner. We pointed this out at the cashier, but the cashier didn't think it was out of the ordinary. We won't be returning.

24/03/2026: We arrived just now and they told us "they've closed the kitchen." Why do they close an hour early? Question for the manager
