25/08/2024: We went here today for lunch with my family and we had a great time. Very nice location, Marte and his sister are lovely people and excellent food with generous portions and quality ingredients. If you pass through these parts I highly recommend it, together with a visit to the monastery which is truly worth it!

04/08/2024: Very nice and welcoming place. Friendly, friendly and professional staff. The quality of the food offered is very high. The beers are excellent. Prices normal.
03/08/2024: Very welcoming place. Fast service. Menu that varies from different fried dishes to excellent pinsas, sandwiches and wraps of every taste, accompanied by different types of beers and drinks. At the weekend the venue is enriched with live music, excellent for spending time in company.

10/08/2024: Discovered while passing through Pegognaga thanks to the good reviews on maps, I confirm that I was pleasantly surprised by this ancient village tavern both for the truly interesting menu offering for the quality of the proposals, and for the attentive and friendly service and finally for the location with large external veranda and very refined furnishings. Delicious fish au gratin, excellent sea bass and praise for the ice cream with chocolate peach. Balanced bill with house bitters offered. I am very happy to still find passionate and competent restaurateurs in our lands like at the village inn. Well done.
04/08/2024: You don't end up at the Borgo tavern by chance. It's not on the main road. But someone must have suggested it to you.
And the suggestion is truly due.
Authentic food and flavours, impeccable and friendly service, very high quality and adequate prices.
The cellar is an ovation to the passion for excellence: wines from all over Italy. To explore and test!!

Clean place, welcoming in its simplicity. Agnoli in broth, pumpkin tortelli, boiled meat, tajadele cake, grape cake, sbrisolona
14/10/2024: Simple, traditional, tasty cuisine. The typical, small roadside restaurant where you are treated like a friend rather than a customer.
Consumed: risotto with sausage, creamy sautéed potatoes that are a feast for the palate. The tiramisu made in the morning was exceptional, light.

17/06/2024: Fish-only restaurant, family-run, which has remained unchanged since they opened. Place that could use some updating. Normal cuisine in line with prices slightly lower than normal. Friendly service.

23/08/2024: Non meritano manco una stella. Tutta roba surgelata del l’supermercato, che è elaborata ( siamo gente del mestiere ).La grigliata di pesce che costa 15 euro, ha solo il nome di grigliata ( la foto sotto ) e anche sa di vecchio. Spero di non stare male stanotte.

17/03/2024: Location meravigliosa e super rilassante!! Cucina tipica ed è stato come sentirsi in famiglia. Proprietari a dir poco squisiti, alla mano e molto disponibili
06/12/2023: un menu e prezzo concordato onesto, per una serata con parecchi commensali (40 persone circa) di un unico gruppo..!!! . Ha sicuramente influito su un servizio cordiale e puntuale , antipasto (affettati misti e gnocco) .. due primi "in sicurezza sono le specialità della casa (tortelli di zucca e Cappelletti in brodo)... ottimi e gradita replica (bis)... il secondo un guanciale di manzo (penso..!?) tenero e ben cotto con polenta e patate al forno , il vino Lambrusco rosso e Trebbiano bianco, accostamento classico viste le pietanze... in fine dolce dekicato (zabaione/budino e scaglie di sbrisolona) caffe e liquori a richiesta il tutto con la consueta cortesia del Titolare.
Il locale merita sicuramente una replica, magari sperimentando il menù alla carta.
Dimenticavo...!! in attesa aperitivo con ciccioli che non guastano mai.
