An atmosphere that made us take a happy leap back in time.
Excellent Mantuan cuisine. Local traditions: respected. Excellent quality of raw materials.
Spectacular orange duck, delicious cured meats, homemade cream ice cream, a treat from times gone by for the palate.

02/11/2025: Good pizza, excellent fish, fast service. The atmosphere is a bit cold and plain! Very reasonable price! I'll be back!
28/10/2025: We were a group of 35 volleyball players, and were offered pizza, a soft drink, and coffee for €15. The problem was that the 15 children ordered Margherita and a Coke, but none of them ordered coffee. The adults ordered pizza, some ordered beer and Coke, but most ordered water and coffee for only €6. Overall, the price was high because the standard menu was cheaper. The criticism was that for those of us who ordered a water for three to have it brought to us later, it was added as an extra. Furthermore, on a €480 bill, a €10 difference was requested; the owner didn't consider the €25 coffees we didn't order. For us, nothing changes, but the queue left us disappointed, considering that our team often plays in the area and could have been a reference point.

29/09/2025: Found by chance on a Sunday outing, it was a real experience.
Everything was meticulously prepared and excellently cooked.
The fish was top-notch.
An experience we'll repeat very soon.
07/09/2025: Excellent location surrounded by the countryside, few seats so a nice quiet and intimate place, impeccable service, excellent food, even the wine brought to the table already opened (I recommend opening it at the table and having them try it) is good, however there is no menu so the prices of either the wine or the courses are unknown. Recommended for special occasions.

Too bad there is no place to eat it except standing or on the 2 benches in front.
Quantity slightly lower than average compared to the price.
12/05/2025: Valid ice cream shop, good ice cream, complete with 'unconventional' flavors and lactose-free flavours. Smiling and kind staff despite the slightly late hour. We didn't taste the cakes and the single portions, but it must be said that they looked beautiful, very inviting. The environment is clean and tidy, it is not large, but if the weather permits you can stop on the outdoor benches.

02/11/2025: Sunday lunch is always top-notch: simple yet authentic dishes, from pumpkin tortelli to stew or spit-roasted meat.
24/08/2025: I've never eaten worse in my life. The place smelled terrible, the food was raw or seemed spoiled, and the staff was almost intrusive.
Some of the dishes were inedible. Don't go there.

Tutto buono ma porzioni un po’ ridotte per i prezzi indicati nel menù !
19/11/2024: Siamo stati a cena alla Chiusa io e il mio ragazzo quest’estate in occasione del mio compleanno. Ci siamo seduti all’esterno, atmosfera molto carina, cibo veramente buono. Non c’è un menù molto vasto e credo cambi stagionalmente, ma veramente tutto buonissimo! Molto qualità!

05/05/2025: Ristorante che sembra una mensa, sia come si presenta sia per il cibo che per il servizio.
Cameriere scontrose, agitate, nervose per nulla accoglienti, danno la netta sensazione di vedere i clienti solo come presenze fastidiose da far sloggiare il prima possibile.
Nel nostro caso abbiamo ordinato 2 piatti di tortelli con le erbette e ci siamo accorte che in uno dei 2 c'erano quasi il doppio dei tortelli rispetto all'altro piatto.
L'abbiamo fatto presente ma, come al solito, quando non si vuole ammettere di aver sbagliato e si vuole avere ragione a tutti i costi nonostante l'evidenza dei fatti, non ci si scusa ma si risponde che " Noi non siamo IL PESCATORE e i tortelli non li.contiamo"
Per onore di cronaca, dopo questa uscita infelice, ci hanno portato un piattino con i tortelli 'mancanti'
Da quel momento siamo state spiate e ascoltate di soppiatto per poi riportare le nostre osservazioni, su ciò che stavamo mangiando, al personale di cucina che naturalmente ci ha inondato di improperi...
Per fortuna si dice che il cliente ha sempre ragione...ma certamente non qui

19/02/2025: Segnato con bollino rosso, frittura di pesce terribile , secca e a ogni boccone c'era la sensazione di sabbia..... Locale grande e rumoroso.
Pietanze neanche da mensa.
