14/05/2026: A restaurant with highly original walls and furnishings in the center of Rovato. Wall murals commemorating famous local figures make the rooms truly unique. The outdoor veranda with tables is delightful in the warmer months. The young staff is friendly and cheerful. The food is delicious and authentic!
13/05/2026: In the beautiful city of Rovato, we had been recommended this restaurant, so our expectations were truly high. It seemed that in such a warm and charming place, the service should be up to par. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be completely different.
The waitress didn't welcome us properly; she communicated with obvious impatience and gave the impression she was simply waiting for us to leave. She reacted to our requests coldly and disrespectfully.
The wine selection was particularly disappointing. We asked the sommelier for help in choosing a red wine, expecting at least some minimal attention or a recommendation, but he never showed up.
After finishing our dishes, we had no desire to stay longer—we just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The atmosphere was so unpleasant that it completely ruined the evening.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

02/06/2026: Pier Trattoria in Coccaglio is a high-end restaurant. Meticulously crafted, elegant, spacious, and bright, it offers a truly pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
The menu deserves special mention: a wide selection of à la carte dishes and numerous off-menu options, all very inviting. We chose some traditional dishes and were completely satisfied, both with the generous portions and the quality and deliciousness of the preparation. A well-deserved 10.
The beef in olive oil also deserves praise.
The wine list is also good, with a wide and well-stocked selection.
Service is provided by friendly, pleasant, and professional staff, always attentive to the needs of guests.
Finally, a special mention goes to Pier, the owner: present, attentive, and capable of making all guests feel at ease, right at home.
An experience I recommend without hesitation.

Call ahead to ask if they have the full menu or to reserve a few dishes off the menu during the week. Otherwise, it's exceptional, such as the typical Brescia dishes, beef in oil, skewers, etc.

22/01/2026: A 1990s-style location with two small rooms and a large hall with a wooden ceiling. Excellent service with friendly and attentive staff. I ordered the fixed business menu. €12.50, including drinks and coffee. I had orecchiette with tomato sauce, beef bites and peas, and meatballs with tomato sauce and a side of boiled vegetables. Everything was delicious and plentiful. I'd like to return for dinner to try their very inviting fish menu.
Highly recommended.

29/04/2026: Chosen for a graduation lunch, we were very happy with both the helpfulness of the staff and the excellent quality of the food.
26/04/2026: I had dinner with two friends on a Thursday evening. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was good. The quality of the food was satisfactory, but the portion size was absolutely inadequate for the price. You can't afford to spend €18 on a risotto that was finished in four forkfuls. My friend had casoncelli, which were good, but again, the portion was inadequate. We also pointed out that the Parmesan in the cheese bowl was rancid. We were told it had been aged for 48 months, but it had clearly been kept out of the refrigerator. Sometimes it would take very little to win over a loyal customer, but I definitely won't be returning.

We went there because of the social media ads; the Instagram reels DON'T show the actual dishes.
The appetizers were dry and almost flavorless.
The first courses were awful: the pasta wasn't fresh (as described), the wild boar or venison ragù was nonexistent, and the pasta was completely bland and watery.
For the second courses, we had their beef, which was inedible and extremely salty, and the pork with mushrooms, which couldn't even be cut with a knife.
The final bitter note: the dessert was microwaved, truly embarrassing.
The bathroom was dirty, and not even the toilet worked.

An evening to forget.

Poor food, poor service, everything microwaved... unfortunately, I won't be back...

We're in Castrezzato to visit a music store and decide to have lunch nearby.
Google suggests the closest restaurants, and we choose the only one open.
Without a reservation, we're seated, and the hostess offers us the specials of the day, a slew of first and second courses.
Tagliatette with wild boar ragù, pennette with scamorza and speck, and casoncelli bresciani.
Very courteous, attentive, and quick service. The food is truly delicious, and the portions are generous.

09/05/2026: Always open, even at 5 a.m., the staff is very knowledgeable, perhaps thanks to the three owners who are always present. The food is always good, not just breakfast, but lunch as well. Very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.
