13/01/2025: Nice restaurant a stone's throw from the lake. A cozy but not stuffy environment. The owners are extremely kind and you can sense how much they care from the care put into the dishes and the service. The quality is very high: fresh raw materials cooked and expertly combined. Homemade pasta and bread. Prices are high (perhaps for some dishes, for example casoncelli, a little too much) but generally commensurate with the quality. Right portions, you leave full but not weighed down. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well, aware that you pay for quality.

09/02/2025: My partner and I have always frequented this restaurant, we returned after a year's break and were very disappointed.
Prices have risen and quality has definitely worsened.
Raw fish apparently good but then we both felt sick, pasta with clams tasteless and not creamed (a plain pasta thrown there with a few clams resting on top) and the 2 portions very different from each other. Mixed fried food poor and not dried. Good tuna and ok desserts.
Friendly but very slow service.
Poorly heated environment (a micro stove for a huge room).
To conclude, we noticed in the fresh fish window at the entrance a live lobster with claws closed by an elastic band moving on a plate (unacceptable and cruel). If we had seen it we would have left immediately.
We are very sorry but we will not return again.
03/02/2025: Pleasant restaurant facing the lake/promenade in Paratico. It's a shame for the wait which in my opinion is too long and for the fact that they don't serve lake specialties but rather sea specialties although they are cooked quite well!
The price is not the cheapest.
All in all positive experience!

18/12/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo sabato 14 dicembre 2024 , un gruppo di 74 persone. Accoglienza e servizio eccellenti: qualità del cibo ricercata e quantità sicuramente abbondante (varie proposte di bis).
Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.

26/01/2025: Stayed here overnight before heading up to Ponte di Legno for skiing. Rooms are a bit tired. Service was great Pizza was awesome. Great view of the river but in need of renovation. Good value
20/01/2025: Located in a strategic position, you can reach the entire lakeside walk on foot. Suggestive panorama and comfortable environment. Private parking for customers both cars and motorbikes. Clean rooms and excellent service. Excellent restaurant/pizzeria

26/10/2024: We returned to this place after a few months, and we are sorry to say that we had to revise our previous review, due to a drastic change, objectively for the worse, in the staff.
The elderly waitress spent the twenty minutes we were there producing a harrowing litany, at times grotesque, cursing an entity that despite our efforts we were unable to identify.
The other customers commented between sarcastic and scandalized, taking care not to be heard, probably in fear of suffering the same curse with a seventeenth-century witch hunt flavor.
The young girl at the cash register, when we went to pay, apologized to us, despite her complete ignorance of the facts, saying that every now and then her colleague experiences days like this.
The environment was ultimately quite heavy, but my husband is still convinced that she was a cosplayer hired for the upcoming pagan Halloween celebration.
However, I don't think we will return to check it out, as our little girl, despite her young age, was quite traumatized.
To conclude I add that the cappuccino arrived cold, and the croissants were the ones from the day before, or if the cosplay hypothesis were to be confirmed, the ones from the dawn of time.

20/11/2023: Ho comandato un antipasto di mare e non sono riuscita a mangiarlo tanto il pesce era vecchio. Il pane con sopra le alici marinate talmente duro che dovevi prendere un martello per spezzarlo. Le cozze immangiabili come tutto il resto. Le amiche con mé altrettanto scontente. Mai più anche per non rischiare problemi di salute.

In realtà tutta la famiglia è rimasta soddisfatta, sia per la qualità ( un 7.58 lo darei) che per il conto, onesto per tutto quel che abbiamo mangiato. Il proprietario molto gentile.
