20/07/2024: Waren vriendelijk en reuze keuze van gerechten. Hadden pasta met zeevruchten en fritto misto. Was lekker! Enkel de prijsindicatie van 1 “€” vind ik minder geplaatst. 28€ voor pasta en 21€ voor de fritto misto. Maar absoluut niks negatiefs over keuken en personeel aan te merken!!!!!

21/08/2024: We ate very well both the pizza and the fabulous spaghetti with clams. The service is excellent, fast and precise. The guys who serve the tables are young but trained. The owner is a lovely person. The location is impressive, being in the central square of the gut.

13/08/2024: We chose the Il Barrante restaurant because it is right on the Alassio waterfront! Of course, we were in the restaurant during rush hour in the evening, but unfortunately the overall impression was very disappointing. The food tasted very good, looked nice and was funny, but the atmosphere was bad. Extremely loud conversations - which were due to the loud music. There was a lack of space - you couldn't even move your chair backwards without bumping into your neighbor. Extremely hot - the air conditioning was active (visually) but didn't provide any cooling. As I said, the food was quite ok - although the portions were very small (even my youngest daughter couldn't get enough of her spaghetti!). Overall impression - in the time from 7:30 p.m. - 21:30 get as many guests through as possible, make a one-time turnover and then “serve” the next guests.

24/05/2024: Scelgo il primo con pesce spada purtroppo minimo per due persone, allora cambio con un piatto di linguine con vongole, ore 20,30 sabato, linguine terminate, deludente, pesce al forno e altro secondo di pesce minimo per due persone, obbligatoria la scelta tra fritto misto e sogliola, deludente, ho ordinato un antipasto misto di pesce caldo: delle acciughe fritte e qualche polipetto annegato nel sugo rosso, mediocre, dalla lista dei dolci avremmo scelto: cremino (terminato), meringata (non c’è ), torta di mele (non c’è). Che dire, lascio a chi legge trarre le conclusioni

26/08/2024: I've frequented this place several times, it's been a while since I've been there and yesterday I returned. Even though I had made a reservation, it wasn't clear to them, but oh well they still made me sit between two tables that seemed to all be together, so much so that we were close together. I notice that the menu is always the same, same proposals as the year before and the one before that. Lots of confusion, dishes arriving when the other person has already finished eating for 5 minutes... I could accept such poor service in a restaurant where I spend 20 per person, but in a restaurant where for the little you do you spend at least 60- €70 each, absolutely not. The greed to fill the place as much as possible is a double-edged sword. Better to have a few fewer tables but offer a better service given the prices they ask, and take better care of customers, leaving them more satisfied, rather than aiming with the classic Ligurian tourist mentality of, who cares if it's bad, tomorrow there's another one , because it's not really like that, there are those who come even in winter when there's no one there and after evenings like yesterday you lose them as customers!

25/08/2024: Niente da dire sulle pizze: buone. Il tavolino praticamente sulla spiaggia è carino anche se, come in tutta Alassio, lo spazio tra un tavolo e l' altro è pressoché inesistente. Il servizio è un po' caotico, capisco che siamo in agosto ma, se mi porti l'acqua e non mi dai i bicchieri nemmeno dopo che te li ho chiesti, come bevo? Ad altri che hanno ordinato birra e pizza arriva prima la pizza e solo dopo averla chiesta altre 2 volte arriva la birra. Il conto un po' Altino ma qua è così.

12/08/2024: I had dinner alone this evening at the Veliero Amabile and for this reason I am releasing my review... they welcomed me in a very kind manner and made me sit on the veranda. I had dinner with trofie with pesto and grilled courgettes as a side dish! All delicious and served on time! Excellent price/quality! I leave the video of my dishes! Advised!

28/08/2024: Abbiamo atteso 45 min 4 margherite da asporto, pizza ripugnante! Rapporto qualità prezzo decisamente sproporzionata. Non lo consiglio assolutamente

27/08/2024: Perfekt! Auch ohne Reservierung haben wir spontan einen Tisch bekommen und ganz hervorragend gegessen - die beste Pizza Tonno seit langem und auch die Calzone war top. Service mehr als freundlich, trotz vollem Lokal und die Crema Catalana hat den Abend perfekt abgerundet. Unbedingt zu empfehlen, wenn man eine gute Pizza möchte und dazu sind auch noch die Preise mehr als moderat. 10/10:-)

10/07/2024: Sono stata in vacanza ad Alassio tre giorni e sono andata a mangiare per ben due volte di seguito e…scelta più che azzeccata. La polpesta? A dir poco libidinosa Il polpo? Una bontà Le cozze? Deliziose Lo spaghetto alle vongole? Sublime Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo Vermentino. Voglio però spendere anche due parole sull’affascinante cameriere, un sorridente angelo biondo che sembra ballare con i piatti e che ti fa sentire a casa. Locale da provare, assolutamente

09/07/2024: Personale gentilissimo e davvero professionale cosa praticamente impossibile ad Alassio. Servizio rapido e attento. Qualità molto buona. Porzioni super!!! Antipasti e secondi da lode, primi da rivedere…decisamente: non ‘ballano’. Dolcì troppo troppo costosi e non così buoni. Carta vini assolutamente non adeguata e con rapporto qualità prezzo pessimo.

27/02/2024: My last review of them was a little over a year ago. Early in the winter week, rain, wind, blowing sand, fairly cool temperatures all limit the options in Alassio at this time of year. We decided to return because it was close and got us out of the rain. Most of my concerns, raised in my last review, have not diminished. We had a decent pasta dish, a very good carciofi salad, a lackluster half bottle of wine and a forgettable dessert. The service situation hasn't improved; friendly but somewhat amateurish. This might be a very good choice for red meat lovers judging from the window into the meat freezer. There are quite a few restaurants in this mid price range in town, and many of them operate with more finesse. They were doing a good business with plenty of local trade. They won't miss us. But we aren't in a hurry to return.

15/02/2024: Pizza molto buona ma estremamente esagerato il sovrapprezzo per la pizza senza glutine di 6 euro extra. Il doppio rispetto ad altre pizzerie per un prodotto industriale, surgelato....

23/08/2024: We stayed one week in Alassio, and this was the best food! Go to any of the beach restaurants for the view, this one for the food. Although, it's still a nice place.

The real pesto from Italy, just delicious, I recommend 🥰 (1 year ago) Here I am back after 1 year, My girlfriend had the pesto pasta which was always amazing. However, for a change I went for the lasagna...disappointed, really it was nothing exceptional (for the Swiss it's comparable to those from Findus...) For lasagna I do not recommend 0⭐ Let's make way for dessert 2 excellent tiramisu

30/07/2024: Very friendly staff. The food was very good, but the portions of the pasta dishes were a bit larger. But otherwise very good.

23/07/2024: New management, family atmosphere, but for the area, à la carte menu prices are out of the market (complete for 2 people, without starters, coffee and coffee killer, €85.00), both for the preparation of the dishes and for the limited choice. Out of the way to reach on foot (difficult to park the car). After many years as a tourist customer, I think I won't go back.

11/07/2024: A restaurant where mostly workers eat... seeing the photos on the internet you assume that they make certain dishes, while when you get there, you find a fixed canteen menu with dishes that are borderline edible. While we were eating the slop, we saw the table behind us ordering fish. To our questions about "why it wasn't offered to us", the waiter's response was that the mixed fried food must be booked in advance. Be clear in the description because in this way you screw the people who, out of kindness, don't send you to lie down but pay for food they didn't eat and go away hungry and disgusted by the boiled rolatine and the French fries immersed in the rolatin liquid... if that's what you can call it.. thank you and see you never again

30/06/2024: Last night the girl and I stopped by this place. Upon arrival we made the huge mistake of not waiting at the entrance to be escorted to the table, as was pointed out to us by one of the 320 signs written at the entrance. As soon as we crossed the threshold we were rudely chased away by the owner who continued to insult our intelligence for two minutes straight with phrases like "The more you don't read the signs, the more I will continue to display more" or "You have never been in a place with a cord at the entrance", despite our apologies. Now I understand that it could have been a busy evening, but the place was literally empty (no surprise). In any case we moved to another place where we were not treated like thieves by the staff. However, I wish the owner a good life

02/06/2024: Il est désolant de manger dans ce cadre aussi magnifique des pâtes(on est en Italie, on se dit que ça va être excellent) …pas cuites. Pas d’excuses du serveur quand on a renvoyé le plat (limite on fait un caprice) pas de geste à l’addition( elle ose demander si ça était….ben non…). Il ne suffit pas d’avoir l’air d’un grand pour l’être. C bien dommage parce que le cadre vos vraiment le détour. Il serait bien d’avoir des plats un minimum au niveau et pas que les prix…..

22/07/2024: Location bellissima, vista meravigliosa sull’isola gallinara, cibo ottimo! Di solito nei posti belli non è detto che si mangi bene, qui è stato tutto perfetto! Complimenti

21/07/2024: Esperienza disastrosa: il servizio e' stato da principianti e inadeguato con antipasti che arrivavano assieme ai primi, posate non cambiate confusione sulle ordinazioni. La cucina e' stata imbarazzante: piatti freddi,crudi, immangiabili. Conto molto salato. Ho avuto l'impressione di essere stata presa in giro, come una turista allocca a cui va bene tutto!!! Neanche il parcheggio era adeguato: in salita, strettissimo e selvaggio. Non tornerò mai più.
