30/08/2025: A truly pleasant experience. We started with a glass of crisp, fragrant Vermentino, perfect for accompanying the delicate and well-balanced scallops on a potato cream. Next, the Ligurian-style catch of the day, perfectly cooked and rich in flavor. Friendly service, a refined, relaxed atmosphere. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

02/09/2025: The staff were kind and polite. The Florentine steak didn't satisfy me very much, partly because I asked for it to be rare and it arrived a bit overcooked and a bit sinewy.

11/10/2025: For a €3 cover charge, I deserve a cloth tablecloth and napkin, not a paper placemat. Wine by the glass should be served from the bottle at the table, not from a filled glass. There's room for improvement. The food quality is good.

04/10/2025: A small restaurant in Chiavari. Small, intimate, somewhere between refined and traditional. Excellent dishes. Fast service. Courtesy. Expertise and kindness. Hand-written wine list with a wide selection of local wines. Worth remembering. Worth returning.

17/08/2025: We went there twice this week and had pizza to go. Very good service, and the short wait was easily passed with a beer. The pizza has a nice, thin crust and a fruity sauce – compliments!

04/08/2025: Uns wurde das Restaurant von unserem Host empfohlen, wir waren nur 2 Nächte in Leivi und beide davon in diesem Lokal essen, der Kellner war sehr nett und konnte toll englisch. Die Pizza war die beste, die wir jemals gegessen haben, aus diesem Grund sind wir auch beide Tage hingegangen und haben auch leider kein anderes Gericht außer Dessert probiert.

17/09/2025: If you're looking for a simple place to dine, Rostio is for you. We're regulars now, and over time we've thoroughly savoured the quality of this place. The menu offers both restaurant and pizzeria options. The dishes are simple and traditional, but of excellent quality, flavourful and tasty, with excellent seafood options. The selection isn't huge, but each dish is expertly crafted and the portions are generous. The stuffed calamari is an offering I absolutely recommend! I find the fried seafood to be good, but it has deteriorated slightly over time, especially compared to the variety of fish, which is much less than it was a few years ago. For example, they no longer serve whole fish (I think they were red mullet, but they were excellent anyway). The bread is excellent. Unfortunately, the bruschetta is no longer served, but I hope it'll be reintroduced, perhaps on the discretionary menu, because I found it delicious, the best ever. The pizzeria is also very respectable, with crispy and tasty dough, good toppings, and the option to make some changes upon request. They recently introduced pinza, which has become quite trendy lately. The desserts are less exciting than the rest, but that doesn't mean they're bad quality: they're effortless to eat, I'd say. The atmosphere is sunny and rustic, with various indoor dining rooms, a veranda overlooking the countryside, and, in the summer when the weather permits, an outdoor terrace. The spaciousness of the space also makes it suitable for parties and large groups; I find it perfect for birthdays and get-togethers with friends.

01/09/2025: Excellent. It's like going to a restaurant from another era. The service is slow but uninterrupted, the food is top-notch, like the tuna tartare, fried seafood, or spaghetti with seafood, and the location is quiet and perfect for a first-class dinner.

20/08/2025: A wonderful, small, traditional restaurant. The dining area was small, but perhaps it was this cozy feeling that convinced us to eat there two evenings. The service was also very friendly, although a basic knowledge of Italian is highly recommended. The food was very tasty, the menu was simple; you wouldn't need anything more. The mussels are worth ordering as an extra. However, the fried seafood portion is definitely enough to fill you up. The price is very reasonable. It was a pleasure to eat here.

01/06/2025: Simple, welcoming, friendly, family-run environment. Local dishes to enjoy on the spot or take away. Generous portions, reasonable prices. Stuffed courgettes and onions, freshly baked farinata, potato and green bean pie, osada with roast potatoes, bruschetta and focaccia. All accompanied by a glass of medium draft beer and water for €25 per person. We really really enjoyed every dish. An experience to repeat.

27/08/2025: Magnificent restaurant... the ambiance is beautiful, the food is fresh and extremely delicious, and worth every cent. The lukewarm focaccia with the appetizers was superb. The owner—presumably Marco—exudes incredible friendliness and calm. We received a warm welcome and were able to bring our 5-month-old daughter in her stroller without any comment.

06/09/2025: We stopped by chance and were more than satisfied, the staff were kind and attentive to customers, the food was excellent, the beer selection was good, the music was a little loud but not annoying, we were very satisfied.

17/08/2025: A small place, very cute and welcoming inside. If you're going with more than two people, it's best to book. To accommodate more guests, there's a street-facing terrace, with a veranda in the winter. They've added gluten-free options to the menu and offer gluten-free beer, which is great for us celiacs. The prices aren't cheap, but it's worth a try.

21/07/2025: Spend the weekend at this recently renovated hotel; great pool, rooms recently renovated. We happened to be there when they organized a dinner with live jazz music at the Terrazza. this dinner was among the highlights of our trip. Well done Monte Rosa team !
