17/04/2025: Terrible in every facet. Food microwaved and plain. Wife finished her meal 10 mins before mine came out, scalding hot. Service - horrible, talked incessantly to themselves. Atmosphere, none.

17/04/2025: Terrible, evita a toda costa. Nada positivo. Horribles comidas al microondas directamente de un supermercado básico. Servicio, ninguno, demasiado ocupado hablando entre nosotros.

20/10/2024: Terrible lugar, evita a toda costa. Fui aquí para una comida familiar rápida. La comida era realmente horrible y la pasta estaba seriamente mal cocida (no al dente, el tagliatelle estaba pegado en un grumo duro y crujiente). Cuando le señalé esto al camarero, el propietario se acercó y literalmente comenzó a gritarnos - adultos y niños - en italiano e inglés roto con palabrotas en inglés utilizadas liberalmente en todo. Fue increíble. Solo estoy satisfecho de que muchos otros revisores hayan tenido una experiencia similar, así que no fuimos solo nosotros. Desafortunadamente, este lugar se beneficia de estar en la parte superior de un camino popular de la vía principal y su buena ubicación significa que el propietario puede ser un psicópata agresivo y la comida puede ser realmente horrible, pero siempre habrá un montón y un montón de turistas nuevos para polarizar.

01/12/2024: What can I say... Arriving on a Saturday morning at 10:00 and being told that they are closing and all there is are empty croissants and a few scones leaves me perplexed. The brioches were wet on the bottom, as if they had fallen into water. I didn't say anything because it seems to me that the owner didn't know where it was. The only positive note is the place with a sea view. Great potential with poor service.

10/05/2025: TOURIST TRAP! We ordered a cheese focaccia and we got a pre-cooked pizza (the frozen ones that are then reheated) with stracchino on top. Paid 12 euros. Curtain. P.S. the only positive notes were the kindness of the (I think) owner and the pesto, which at least didn't seem like the packaged Barilla one 😂

07/05/2025: A place stuck in the 80s, normal food (as far as ordered), prices too high for what is offered. Plate of pasta with pesto, water, tiramisu - 26 euros

02/05/2025: Abbiamo preso due semplici pizze… stiamo stati malissimo. Non consiglio assolutamente. Non fatevi ingannare dalla postazione e neppure dal personale fin troppo gentile… dietro c’è l’inganno.

18/04/2025: El Gnocci Portofino fue INCREÍBLE. El mejor plato de mi viaje. Está en la calle principal no en el puerto, pero fue divertido para la gente ver. La berenjena también era muy bueno. No frito como en EE.UU. Me sorprendió dada la crítica lo mucho que disfruté mi plato. Un pequeño lugar genial.

20/04/2025: The food was not bad actually it was quite good. The indoor seating was way in the back of the restaurant wich was not the best.

20/04/2025: We couldn't decide on a worse place to eat on our trip... Expensive and super simple food, but the worst was the service. They had the dining room EMPTY and it was a time when few people would come in to eat. We were 4 people and they put us at a table for 2. When we went to change to a table for 4, they didn't let us. We just ate, with little space and uncomfortable and no other people had sat at any table. I show it in photos. 0% recommended.

07/05/2025: Never before have I eaten such a meager Nicoise salad as at Bistro Portofino. The salad only had some tomatoes, canned tuna and mozzarella. No egg, no anchovies, no onion, no green beans. A real disappointment. And that costs €20. The price-quality ratio was hard to find! And then the bill came. We were charged €14 for 1 beer. And they had given themselves a 15% surcharge. Really downright ridiculous and in our opinion undeserved! I don't mind spending (a lot of) money on food, but the quality has to be there too!

08/05/2025: The hotel is like from the last century. Towels, blankets are ancient. When she was yellow. There was no soap. The TV didn't work. Wifi didn't work. Breakfast very poor and dry. We found children's stuffed toys on the floor. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere and is very far from the sea and the city center. Shops nearby had short opening hours. The staff is mostly friendly... But the pizza is great.

05/04/2025: The rooms were dirty, the fridge didn't work, the tub had a pee yellow color which revealed the poor cleanliness of the place. The service was kind and courteous, if it weren't for the food, which was extremely poor, with a meat sauce that tasted like fish, dry pasta and an embarrassing second course, with only three tiny sausages and a lot of green peas. The location is in the middle of nowhere, far from the sea and in the middle of a chaos of houses, depriving us of the view. A holiday to forget!

04/05/2025: Sono andata in questo posto per un aperitivo con mia moglie, abbiamo ordinato un aperol e un Campari spritz; una volta portati, ho chiesto per il mio drink di avere più Campari (visto il colore quasi transparente del mio spritz); lo stesso mi e’ stato aggiunto con misurino in acciaio. Al momento del conto vedo che mi fanno pagare 3 spritz (24 euro); aggiungo che come spizzichini mi sono stati dati arachidi e patatine. Non metto giudizi, credo Che I fatti parlino da soli. Ovviamente non mettero’ più piede in questo posto.
