16/03/2026: Dishes without too many unnecessary "frills." Defined flavors. Punctual service. Quality raw ingredients. Strong point: the fresh pasta. If they have fried artichokes, order them!! Maybe a little too long of a wait, but with apologies from Maurizio (the affable, kind, and friendly host), everything is fine. Absolutely fair price. We'll be back.
14/03/2026: The restaurant consists of small rooms connected by arches and passageways, some with exposed brick walls. The architecture is meticulously crafted. The service was impeccable; the waiter was very knowledgeable in recommending dishes and describing them as he brought them to our table.

24/08/2025: Very nice restaurant, with outdoor seating offering a lovely breeze. The food was delicious; we had fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and cannelloni with meat. The Angus beef carpaccio was exceptional, and the zucchini flowers were fried to perfection and not greasy. Impeccable service, very friendly staff. We went with our dog, and they had a little bag of dog biscuits ready, a truly sweet and much-appreciated gift!

11/03/2026: I've been to De Matti Franca's Trattoria Carlini, and I have to say it's one of those trattorias that makes you feel right at home. The place is simple, unpretentious, yet precisely because of this, it has a genuine atmosphere that's increasingly rare these days.
The cuisine is typical of the area: dishes made the way they used to be, with authentic flavors. I tried the ravioli and fettuccine, and they were truly delicious; you could taste the pasta made with care. The meat is also worth it, well-cooked and flavorful. Don't miss the homemade desserts; the tiramisu and millefeuille are truly excellent.
The portions are generous and the prices are fair, which is always a pleasure. The staff is friendly and approachable, and the service is simple yet cordial, as you'd expect from a true village trattoria.
It's the kind of place you'll want to return to, perhaps after a stroll in the area, for a good, casual meal. If you're looking for authentic cuisine and a family-friendly atmosphere, it's definitely worth a stop.

08/02/2025: prezzi esorbitanti per porzioni ridicole, non giustificano minimamente il costo la qualità dei piatti lascia a desiderare ingredienti mediocre e presentazione della cena improvvisata. Se cerchi un rapporto qualità prezzo decente questo non fa per te.

28/07/2024: Conoscendo la pasticceria ci siamo affidato per una torta di compleanno su ordinazione, buona ovviamente nel gusto ma già la avevamo assaggiata in precedenza e sul gusto eravamo tranquilli.. deludente nella presentazione della torta. Poco decorata, semplice, infantile, nonostante le richieste erano state specificate con molta attenzione
Totalmente piatta sopra senza una decorazione nonostante le richieste erano ben altre.
Se volete una torta acquistate quelle che vedete esposte almeno sapete come sono esteticamente. Peccato , ci aspettavamo molto molto di più per come si presentano.
