What a birthday lunch!! I went today with my partner to celebrate my birthday. What can I say? Just looking at the menu and wine list, you're torn between "I can't wait to try as much as I can" and "I can't wait to go back with this group of friends and that one so they can try everything." Slow Food cured meat appetizers, with unique aromas and textures, mouth-watering veal sweetbreads, and their soft taco with tasty and flavorful sheep strips (made with traditional Turkish bazlama bread, also made with potatoes). We then tried Sora Maria's famous cannelloni, excellent! Finally, the trio of Roman lamb PGI: three different dishes, just the right amount to appreciate it in these three variations, each one better than the last. All accompanied by two recommended glasses of white wine, an excellent Trebbiano di Affile and a Fiano di Avellino. Finally, the desserts: pastiera, a huge portion, and a delicious chocolate and raspberry cube. Definitely worth returning to, especially to take advantage of the wine list. It features a wide selection of French wines, divided by region, along with quality wines from all over Italy and a wealth of local wines, especially Cesanese, of course. I congratulate you on your cuisine; the attention you put into it is evident and evident.

The restaurant and staff are very welcoming, the menu is rich and varied, and the traditional dishes are excellent. I also really appreciated the modern reinterpretation of some of the dishes. I'll be back soon.

I ate at Sora Maria e Arcangelo over Easter, so the menu wasn't à la carte. Despite this, the selection was extensive. This trattoria has successfully revisited tradition, expanding simple dishes with new flavors or different ways of preparing/serving (for example, the yakitori with coratella), but without neglecting tradition (like the cannelloni, the first course that made the place famous). The staff was impeccable. If you're looking for a quality place in Olevano, Sora Maria e Arcangelo is the place for you.

Revisited dishes but always adhering to tradition. When you think you've tasted the best, you get to the desserts, which are indescribable. The service is attentive, fast, and friendly. Truly, congratulations.

If I had to sum up the review in one word, I'd say "delicious."
The food, the ambiance, the staff were delicious.
The hardest part was choosing the courses, three dense pages long, like a Netflix wall.
And all of them you'd like to try, but you have to choose, and we opted for the pork livers in a net, anurca apples, and cooked must of Cesanese; the veal sweetbreads like saltimbocca alla romana, black pork saddle of San Lorenzo and sage; the pappardelle alla bifolca with white courtyard ragù flavored with juniper, citrus, and Parmesan; and Sora Maria's cannelloni stuffed with veal pie.
The glass of Cesanese was excellent and generous.
There are about thirty courses left, we'll have to come back.
Prices are in line with the quality of the restaurant.

Dishes without too many unnecessary "frills." Defined flavors. Punctual service. Quality raw ingredients. Strong point: the fresh pasta. If they have fried artichokes, order them!! Maybe a little too long of a wait, but with apologies from Maurizio (the affable, kind, and friendly host), everything is fine. Absolutely fair price. We'll be back.

The restaurant consists of small rooms connected by arches and passageways, some with exposed brick walls. The architecture is meticulously crafted. The service was impeccable; the waiter was very knowledgeable in recommending dishes and describing them as he brought them to our table.
