07/07/2025: Everything was very good, the carbonara was amazing, very tasty and not at all heavy like you find in many other restaurants. The bacon was nice and crunchy, just how I like it.

Piatti insoliti e ricercati rivisitati dallo chef sottolineando che è un ragazzo pieno di voglia di fare e di mettere il suo sapere a servizio del cliente. I dolci!?!? No va be sono da brividi! È l’unico ristorante dove sono stata e anche solo al pensiero mi viene in mente il sapore dei piatti e dei dolci. Provare per credere Ovviamente non pensate di andare a mangiare pesce fresco e di buona qualità con 20€ quelli sono ristoranti con pesce surgelato 🤪

22/06/2025: Giving 5 stars is too little. I have been following the chef's Instagram page for years, finally today I tried the restaurant's cuisine. To say exceptional quality is too reductive. Magnificent experience as is the owner of the house. Truly everything very beautiful, I took the tasting menu......I really struggled to finish it. Excellent everything. Thank you so much for the magnificent experience.

24/05/2025: Review against the grain unfortunately for us.......... I won't stop to list everything that was wrong. I would start from the dirty placemats on the tables to be kind, to the raw chicory not eaten and not even taken off the bill (7 euros) A fillet and a sandwich 110.40 euros Yes.....now you'll say.....the weight......the quality of the fillet.......but the rest? I won't go back :- ( :- (

10/05/2025: The passionate and refined "cuisine" denotes the awareness of being able to offer an exciting journey by caressing the palate and recovering taste sensations from the past. Through experimentation and revisiting dishes from our Peninsula, on Friday evenings the Chef pampers customers with her delights. Kindness, courtesy and helpfulness distinguish the staff in the dining room, a deliberately essential location to celebrate the beginnings of the family business which inspired the porcelain which evokes the sacredness of Sunday lunch.

09/05/2025: I had very high expectations which unfortunately were not met. I went with my wife and my son, we had an appetizer with some selections of the day (that day there were goat's cheeses), two first courses and a second course of the day, chips and sautéed chicory. In short, the food was good, fresh and of good quality so I can't say otherwise but unfortunately the quality/price ratio was extremely unbalanced. For this meal with two bottles of water and two glasses of wine and two desserts €140 is objectively a lot for the type of dishes. Lasagna (Sunday dish!) tortelli (very good of course but still tortelli) tripe (good but always a fifth quarter of meat). What really annoyed me was the price of the desserts and side dishes. Given the place and the location where it is located (practically on the Via Salaria and next to the railway) I was expecting more of an old redeveloped tavern but generally with tavern-style dishes and prices. I only saw tavern dishes but prices were not in line. I will definitely try at least one more time before giving more negative ratings. I hope it is useful to you

27/05/2025: Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to check the bill and therefore point out some anomalies: the sausages were missing but there was in the bill a "potatoes and red sausage" ordered but not received and furthermore 4 lemon sorbets were ordered and paid for but only 3 were received.

22/05/2025: Se cercate un posto dove ritrovare i sapori autentici della cucina di una volta, quella fatta con amore, semplicità e tradizione… allora Anna e Sandra sono una garanzia. È una cucina casalinga, vera, genuina, come ormai non se ne trovano più. Il primo consiglio che vi do è: prenotate! Perché anche se sono persone squisite e vi troveranno comunque un posticino, è meglio evitare l’attesa, non lunga perché sono veloci. Qui il menù non è scritto. È raccontato a voce, proprio come una volta. Un piccolo dettaglio che io trovo meraviglioso, perché ogni volta è una sorpresa: si arriva e si scopre sul momento cosa c’è di buono, come quando si andava a mangiare dalla nonna. In genere ci sono due primi , preparati velocemente perché le salse sono già state cucinate la mattina per il menù del giorno e questo è un pregio !preparati con amore e sapienza, poi quattro secondi, due contorni di stagione e infine… il dolce a sorpresa: una volta la crostata, una volta le ciambelline al vino, o dei biscotti fatti a mano che sanno di casa e affetto. Se sei una persona che ha bisogno del menù stampato e di sapere tutto in anticipo, forse questo non è il posto per te. Ma se sei una persona vera, che ama il buon cibo, la tradizione, le cose fatte con il cuore… allora qui sei nel posto giusto. E vogliamo parlare del prezzo? 15 euro a persona, con vino e caffè inclusi. Per me, un valore che non ha prezzo, considerando la qualità, l’accoglienza e l’esperienza che si vive. Inoltre gentili con gli amici a 4 zampe. La mia chihuahua è stata benissimo. Un luogo semplice, sincero e raro. Grazie Anna e Sandra, continuate così.

03/05/2025: Il menù non esiste, tutto a voce. Comunque c'erano due primi (fettuccine e gnocchi) Quattro secondi ( Trippa, polpette, coratella e cotoletta) Due contorni (cicoria e zucchine). La pasta è arrivata un minuto dopo averla ordinata...il che fa pensare. Anche il resto erano già pronti...tranne la cotoletta. Si buono, ma non esaltante come dalle recensioni. Il conto è sulla fiducia. Pasto completo (circa 25€) Tornare?
