23/09/2025: EVERYTHING IS VERY GOOD AND THE GIRL IS VERY KIND

02/09/2025: The pinza and sandwiches are excellent, but not the tartare. A mini portion costs €14, but it's mostly disregarded (the meat flavor is completely covered by other unnecessary and excessive condiments). As for the appetizers, I'd say they're good. The girl serving the tables is excellent.

11/10/2025: So-so food: excellent porcini mushroom tagliatelle, amatriciana with charred bacon. The cod was good, but the fried anchovies weren't. They had too strong a flavor, and I was wrong not to send them back (they were probably frozen). Terrible service, with dishes arriving in fits and starts. The grape sorbet was excellent. The place was crowded and very noisy. But it was Saturday night... If everything had been good, the bill would have been fair. I'll give it another chance, obviously during the week, and I'll be happy to change my review.

19/08/2025: This is how you serve a gin and tonic! Thanks to the bartenders at Bar LaVallée in Monterotondo for adhering to a protocol of elegance and international etiquette. In some bars I've reviewed, lazy and ignorant bartenders add tonic from a wasted one-liter plastic bottle, opened hours ago and practically unused, and the lemon zest is optional... Cheers 🥂

06/09/2025: I stopped by after the renovation. The location has lost its former elegance. It's definitely brighter and more functional, but now it's modern, not elegant. The croissants are finally good. I wasn't thrilled with the mini croissants, but they still deserve a solid 6. The gelato is always a solid 6.

29/09/2025: We went for dinner a few days ago during the week (I'll start by saying I'd been to this restaurant years ago and the food was divine). The scampi cream risotto was basically tomato risotto, with no trace of scampi, unlike the previous time when there were pieces of scampi throughout the risotto. The clams weren't available... the tiramisu wafer was rubbery instead of crunchy like last time. The grilled shellfish—scampi, prawns, and red shrimp—were exceptional, cooked to perfection. It was a bit of a disappointment, given that I'd raved so much about this place for having had an exceptional scampi cream risotto, but this time it was the complete opposite.

06/10/2025: Welcoming place. The tartares pictured are very good, especially the one with gorgonzola fondue and cardoncello mushrooms! We opted for a double-cut Picanha and a Rubia Gallega, both delicious! Lunch was accompanied by two glasses of captivating Barolo.

24/08/2025: I didn't expect it to be this beautiful. The food is delicious, too. The pizza costs a little more, but it's absolutely worth it. The ingredients are incredibly fresh. I appreciated my childhood friends as well, who were very polite and friendly. The view of Monterotondo from above, especially at night, is magical. For me, the atmosphere is almost as important as the food. Everything was excellent. You've gained a customer 👍 I'll be back.

21/08/2025: Beautifully situated restaurant on top of a hill. It's a bit remote, but worth it. A wide selection on the menu and fast service. In short, simply excellent.

02/09/2025: I've been a customer forever and have always appreciated both the pizzas and the people who work there. Returning from vacation, I was saddened to learn: all pizzas have been raised to €10, a standard price. Charging €10 for a MARINARA and a simple Margherita seems like a bit of an abuse of people's good faith. When they "return" to their place and lower the prices a bit (also considering the area, which, let's be clear, is very popular and located in a somewhat spartan context), we will definitely return as customers.
