The positive feedback has been confirmed, if not increased, for the quality and variety of the dishes.
If you're looking for a good sandwich in Monterotondo, Rima is the place to go.
08/11/2025: Courteous and punctual service with a good pizza.
Perhaps, if I had to make a comment, the citrus flavor was too strong, overpowering the other flavors.

We were greeted with kindness and courtesy by the staff, who explained everything and served us what we asked for. The food was excellent and the prices were average. I highly recommend it.
07/12/2025: I went there recently, it was my first time. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were very fast and knowledgeable, the food was good, and if I were to return to Monterotondo, I would definitely eat here again. It's truly worth it.

The menu offers a variety of dishes that are different from the norm, with top-quality, expertly prepared ingredients. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and you immediately feel welcomed and pampered... Highly recommended! You should try it and come back!

Second course, sliced steak.
I asked for it with blood and they told me it was overcooked. The potatoes in the oven were burned like in a swindle.
The service was unique, and I can say it's good.
Other things, no.
The place is beautiful, and the food is like a dormitory for a homeless person.

07/11/2025: A unique experience. We tried the tasting menu, and every dish was a triumph of flavors and colors. Super fresh fish and a truly well-stocked wine cellar. The service lived up to expectations, always present and never intrusive. I recommend the tasting menu to sample numerous hot and cold dishes. The raw seafood is top-notch. Reserved parking and a very welcoming atmosphere. The desserts are delicious.

16/01/2026: We lingered without knowing the closing time, and the chef—who also served as our waiter—was the kindest person in the world. He waited for us to finish with professionalism and warmth. We found out the closing time on our own purely by chance; he was always discreet. He’s also very friendly and genuinely cared about our opinion of his dishes. He was perfect. We ate coratella, gricia, risotto with Parmesan and pistachio, and cicoria. The atmosphere is family-like and authentic, and the dishes are typical of Roman cuisine, with a few reinterpretations. The prices are extremely fair.

01/11/2025: A lovely trattoria outside the city walls. From the outdoor tables, at the edge of an olive grove, you can enjoy a stunning view of the Roman countryside, from Mount Soratte to Terminillo.
Excellent preparations. They also serve pizza for lunch.
The grilled meats are delicious. Friendly staff and fast service. Average prices.

I'd heard great things about Dupon Meat House, especially the quality of the meat, so I arrived with really high expectations.
Unfortunately, at least this time, the experience didn't live up to expectations.
I ordered a sirloin, a cut that by nature should be tender, juicy, and uniform. Instead, I found it to be uneven in texture: in some places, it was rubbery or stringy, making it difficult to chew. I couldn't finish it, and part of it remained on my plate. Probably a coincidence, but still disappointing considering the restaurant's reputation.
I hope it was just an unfortunate episode, because the place has potential—but for me, this time, expectations weren't met.
06/12/2025: The food and the service are not bad, the management and the service could be better with more courtesy and availability but on average they are above level.

31/01/2026: Changed management? I've been missing for a few years. I went for the legendary cream croissants and... chewy, hard, overly strong cream, and tiny. What a disappointment!!!! The cappuccino was good, but goodbye old memories, I wouldn't go back.
28/01/2026: I don't know what happened, it used to be an excellent pastry shop, now everything is shoddy, the products are poor, the staff is not even mentioning them, rude and impolite... the fried foods are inedible, what can I say, it's a real shame...
