Il Boschetto In Marino

A great experience after a day at the lake—pinsas passed! We went to Il Boschetto restaurant in Marino for a Sunday dinner at the end of June, returning from a wonderful day at Lake Albano. Having made a reservation, we were greeted warmly and seated without a long wait, even though it was Sunday. The restaurant is welcoming and spacious, with several indoor and outdoor areas. The service was very fast: they brought us menus right away, and the ordering process was quick and efficient. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful throughout the evening. Here's what we ordered and our impressions: 🫓 The fried dishes (fried vegetables and zucchini flowers): Truly excellent. The fried food was light, dry, flavorful, and pleasantly crunchy. A full pass! 🍕 The Pinsas: We each had a pinsa. The dough was definitely good, light and well-aired, and the toppings were generous and high-quality (the combinations were excellent, like the one with porchetta and potatoes or the rich one with red onion, anchovies, and cherry tomatoes). My only small personal comment: I would have added just a pinch more salt to the dough or the toppings to bring out the flavors even more, and I'll start by saying that I'm not a savory eater. Overall, it was a wonderful and relaxing culinary experience. Definitely worth trying again if you're in the Castelli Romani area!

Rustic place, good pizza, too crowded when crowded.

After reading the reviews, we tried the bruschetta with porcini mushrooms, and I'd say it was truly delicious! The classic supplì with ragù were also excellent! The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were attentive and helpful! We'll be back soon!

You eat well, excellent flavours

My wife and I often go to this pizzeria/restaurant with friends. Both the Roman pinsa and the classic pizza are delicious, well-topped, and the dough is very easy to digest. For fried foods, I recommend the excellent supplì; the others, perhaps, have too much oil. The restaurant's dishes are also excellent, well-prepared with care and attention. The desserts could perhaps be improved, especially in terms of selection. The service is fast and attentive, the girls at the tables are very kind and always smiling, and Andrea, the owner, is an exceptional person. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

Hospitality and food are the main features

After a very long time, I returned. It's just as good as it was then.
