06/08/2024: I had the pleasure of dining at Madreterra and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the start, we were greeted with a welcome course that immediately set the tone for the evening. Each dish was carefully prepared and impeccably presented. The service was pleasant, with the staff always attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

05/08/2024: Truly breathtaking location, I was there the day before yesterday for a wedding. The food is nothing short of succulent and delicious, and they served in a short time, about 10 minutes per course, excluding the moments when we danced. The desserts were the best part of all 3 runs, which served various sweets and also very fresh fruit. Spectacular setting, equipped with a well-kept garden and swimming pool.

12/08/2024: We celebrated my son Filippo's 18th birthday here yesterday 11/08/24. ... what can I say, everything is perfect from the food to the entertainment to the service (a note of merit to the always available and truly friendly waiters).. a certainty for any occasion to celebrate... customers for years here at the farm where warmth and hospitality are palpable from the first moment of booking to the greetings. 21/08/2024: What an amazing find in the beautiful and historic town of Alatri.
Visited here the first night for a pizza and some delicious suppli and then returned the next night, as it was my birthday, where we sat on the upper level on the balcony. Charming and welcoming atmosphere and Bruno, the host is just fantastic.
We had a delightful meal, wonderful prosecco. Mouth- watering pistacchio cheesecake. Service was perfect despite the fact that they were busy. At the end of the night the staff brought out cherry liquors, prosecco and a delicious millefoglie for my birthday. We spent time sitting with the chefs and the host. What a team of absolutely fabulous guys!!! Thank you Bruno and staff for making my birthday so very special.We can't wait to come back again soon!!!!!!
10/08/2024: I recommend everyone to go to this place where friendliness, professionalism, kindness and excellent food reign. Welcoming and characteristic internal and external spaces, located in the wonderful historic center which certainly makes it unique!

17/07/2024: I had dinner in this place where the food is also good, but the service is terrible. Three of us ate but they also charged a fourth person who didn't have dinner (he only drank a glass of water).
Furthermore, I paid for two portions of grilled vegetables even though I only ordered one. The reason? The waitress replied: "Since you only took those, one seemed too little to me and I made you two." All this without absolutely asking me if I wanted two or notifying me in advance. I am truly shocked by such a service.

Le pizze avevano un impasto veramente leggero e anche la qualità degli insegnanti era ottima, sicuramente ritorneremo in questo locale eccellente

Recently, I had dinner at the Hostaria Apicius restaurant, known for its excellent wine cellar. I had warned my guests that, unfortunately, I feared finding cheap cuisine in a restaurant without particular pretensions, and that the real pleasure of the evening would only be the selection of wines. How wrong I was!
The cuisine at Hostaria Apicius was a revelation. Each dish presented was a combination of flavours, expertly crafted by the expert hand of the chef. Every bite was an explosion of taste, in which every single flavor was exalted to the maximum, and then merged into a perfect harmony that affected the palate, the mind and the heart.
From the selection of starters, which already promised a unique culinary experience, to the main dishes which were able to amaze us with their creativity and delicacy, everything was perfect. The care in presentation and attention to detail made the dinner a real sensorial journey.
I can only highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. Hostaria Apicius is not only a guarantee for lovers of good wine, but also an unmissable destination for those looking for high-level cuisine that knows how to surprise and delight.
